She is a GORGEOUS Border Collie/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix or Tri-Colored Rhodesian Ridgeback. Her personality is true to her breed! Xena's foster mom and dad have 3 other dogs that she likes to play with and share toys with, but she has also learned to be by herself. Her foster mom says she needs an active family with another dog or multiple dogs. Xena needs room to run to get her energy out. She likes going for long walks and exploring the wilderness. Xena sleeps with her foster mom and dad in bed with all the other dogs. It gets a bit crowded but she does love sleeping with the pack. This makes her feel safe. Xena does not like to be in a kennel or crate. So, a family that is at home would be ideal.She likes eating ice cubes! Xena says 'When mom gives me fresh water in a bowl she puts in extra ice cubes for me. That makes me feel special and loved.' Xena loves riding in a vehicle and knows not to jump around and act like a baby.She can walk on a leash pretty well as long as she has her harness on; Xena is not a fan of collars. She also knows a few commands like “stay”, “no” and “potty”.Xena will bark at strangers until she gets to know them. Her foster dad has taught her to fetch. She loves chasing the ball and bringing it back, it’s the letting it go part that she has a hard time with BECAUSE she also loves to play tug of war. Xena is also a fan of the Laser Light. She thinks they are fascinating!Xena is Special Needs because if and when she gets too excited she has seizures. The vet attributes this to a blow to the head as a puppy. When I found bean she was rescued from a lady who found her liter on the side of the freeway they had been thrown out of a car window. I’ve had her for 2 years now and she’s an all around good dog. She’s sweet, caring, and has a great personality. She’s good with other dogs but she’s very shy. She’s always been shy around new people due to I assumed getting abused before I got her. She’s a really good job and I work a lot and am never home. I’m also about to move into an apartment and she deserves a backyard to run around in and play.

A JOY TO HAVE AROUND DOB 11/10/25, weight 35# A happy-go-lucky girl, Meadow is a joy to have around. She loves all people and playing with other dogs. She is very food driven, loves toys, (especially plushy/ squeaky toys) and she adores playing with her sister, Willow. She is sweet, rather obedient for a young puppy, and loves to fetch and bring back her ball. Meadow and her sister Willow were found in her foster mom’s neighborhood dodging traffic, trying not to get hit by a car. Their sister wasn’t so fortunate, but these two girls were lucky because several people in the neighborhood came together to make sure they were rescued and got the vet care they needed. Meadow is working on her leash manners and her potty training. She knows “come” and “sit” as well as how to use the doggie door, and she is quite submissive with other dogs. She alerts her foster mom to the delivery person by barking but only when necessary, and she does not seem afraid of thunder nor rain. Meadow's ideal home would have another canine, perhaps a big brother who needs a little sister, a yard to romp in, a doggy door, and maybe some kids to grow up with. Blu is a purebred Bi-Blue Merle, I got him at 8 weeks when he was weaned and Blu is 8 years old now. We lived on 11 acres when we got him and did for years, Blu had the run of the place with our horses, cows and our kids. We moved to Pearland Texas when I married my wife who is from Pearland, we had to make a big adjustment from going from 11 acres to less than 1/4 acre, and half our small backyard is a pool. Blu is the best dog ever, and even though he doesn't complain about it, it just makes me extremely sad that he is so confined. Unfortunately, Blu is not housebroken because he was our ranch dog, and when we moved here, I didn't want to go through the issues associated with house training an adult dog, as well as this breed sheds an awful lot. Blu is the best dog and my intentions are to find him new a home that can give him a better life with more room to run. We are not moving and I will keep Blu with me until I find him a better lifestyle, or forever if I can't.
