Story
Meet Luna – A Sweet 10-Year-Old Boston Terrier Mix Looking for Her Forever Home Luna is an adorable 10-year-old Boston Terrier/Pug with a loving, affectionate personality and a playful spirit. While she may be a senior, she still enjoys walks, playtime, and spending quality time with her favorite people. Luna is in good health and has spent her life with her best friend, Hazel. Their close bond has been a source of comfort and companionship, so they must be adopted together. Luna is the more confident of the pair and has an outgoing personality. Luna and Hazel were surrendered through no fault of their own when their owner was forced to move and could no longer keep them. Now they’re hoping to find a loving family where they can spend their golden years feeling safe, cherished, and loved. Luna thrives on being part of the family and is happiest when she’s close to her people—whether she’s following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch, or soaking up all the affection you have to give. She has a moderate energy level, offering the perfect balance of playful fun and quiet cuddle time. At 10 years old, Luna still has so much love to share. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a gentle heart and an irresistible Pug smile, Luna is ready to meet you. Could you be the one to give Luna and Hazel the second chance they deserve? If you’re interested in meeting Luna and Hazel, please complete an adoption application at www.greatpets.org . Their combined adoption donation of $300 includes their veterinary exam, vaccinations, spay surgery, fecal test, flea treatment, and microchip.  July 19, 2026, 9:58 pm

Story
Meet Molly - a sweet, silly, beautiful seal-colored Boston Terrier , which means her coat appears black at first glance but shines with gorgeous reddish-brown and mahogany tones in the sunlight. She’s truly stunning inside and out! Molly is a 10-year-old Boston Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger personality. After losing the only home she ever knew due to her owner’s serious medical issues, Molly is now in a foster home where she’s showing everyone just how special she is. At about 26 pounds (with a little extra fluff we’re working on!), Molly is a surprisingly playful and energetic senior. She absolutely loves tennis balls, enjoys a good game of tug-of-war with rope toys, and happily shakes squeaky toys like any Boston worth her salt. She’s goofy, affectionate, and loves nothing more than tummy rubs and sitting in a cozy lap—especially if it belongs to her foster dad. Molly also enjoys her walks and trots along like a champ—even in the rain! She can be a little slow and stubborn when it’s time to head home, but that just adds to her charm. Around the house she’s a loyal little shadow, happily following her people from room to room before heading into her crate for a nap (where she snores like a pro). Because of mild cataracts, Molly occasionally has trouble spotting a tossed tennis ball, but that doesn’t stop her from trying. She also has dry eye in one eye, which requires daily lubrication to keep her comfortable. Molly had ear infections when she arrived, but they are being treated and improving nicely. Molly is doing well learning the routine in her foster home. She eats well, loves freeze-dried beef liver treats, and now does her business outside. She’s also incredibly regular—her foster family jokes she could set a clock by her! While Molly is wonderful with people and enjoys meeting new friends, she can be reactive around other dogs, especially on walks. For that reason, she would likely do best as the only dog in the home with an owner who can help her feel safe and relaxed. Despite all the changes she’s been through, Molly remains incredibly trusting, loving, and resilient. She has a few calluses from her previous life and carries the signs of a dog who may not have always had the softest landing—but her spirit is bright, and she is ready to love her people with everything she’s got. Molly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to start her next chapter. If you’re looking for a funny, affectionate companion who still has plenty of playful energy but also appreciates a good nap, Molly might just be your girl. Story
When we received a call from the Irvine shelter about a stray little "Boston-ish" dog in need, we simply couldn't say no. Meet Daisy — a 21-pound bundle of cuteness with a heart full of love and one big hurdle standing between her and the happy life she deserves. Daisy has polyps in her right ear that have nearly closed off her entire ear canal. The shelter reached out to ask if Boston Buddies could help provide the medical care she desperately needs, and of course, we said yes. We have extensive experience helping dogs through TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgeries and other complex ear procedures, and we're committed to giving Daisy every chance at a comfortable, pain-free future. The good news? Aside from her ear issues, Daisy is in great health. She'll be seeing our specialist surgeon in San Diego to determine the best course of action for treating the polyps and getting her back to feeling her best. Because of these appointments and any follow-up care she may need, we're hoping to find a foster home in the San Diego area. The shelter estimated Daisy to be around 8 years old, but our veterinarian believes she may actually be younger. He also thinks she's likely a French Bulldog — perhaps even a Frenchton! We believe Daisy is dog-friendly and would thrive with a family willing to open their hearts to a dog who truly needs a second chance. She's sweet, adorable, and ready to show her foster family just how grateful she can be. Daisy heard that so many wonderful people stepped up to foster Pepper, and she's crossing her paws that one of those amazing families might be willing to help her, too. Could you be the one to change Daisy's life? Please complete a Foster Application here: https://www.bostonbuddies.org/foster-application/ Help us give Daisy the love, comfort, and medical care she deserves while she waits for her forever home. Even if you can't foster, sharing Daisy's story could help her find the perfect family. July 16, 2026, 12:10 am

Story
Meet 7 year old, 36 lb. French Bulldog, Rockie. Rockie was surrendered by his owner, who no longer could care for him. Rockie loves people, belly rubs, and his Kong toy. Rockie likes to chase lizards and carry his toy on walks. He is a great companion for people, but gets anxious around dogs he doesn't know. Thus, he should be the only dog in your home. Rockie is a solid, sturdy dog that needs an experienced owner, and no young children. Rockie is on allergy medication and a special diet. Story
Meet 10 month old, 15 lb Pug/Shih Tzu, Ziggy Pug. Ziggy and his brother French Fry came from a home that had an accidental breeding of a black pug and white/brown Shih Tzu. Both boys are friendly and active. Ziggy is an adorable looking, scruffy pup whose tongue sticks out. Ziggy can be quite vocal. He is outgoing and a voracious eater. Ziggy loves to play and get into mischief with French Fry. They have become quite attached, so we'd like them to be adopted as a pair. Apply to meet Ziggy and French Fry at adoptocpets.org/adopt
