Story
This love bug is Oreo. Oreo is 4 years old, 44 lbs, and a Boxer/Lab mix. 3.5 years ago was the best day of her life when she got adopted into a wonderful home. She became house-trained, crate trained, trustworthy free roam, and she was loved beyond measure. Unfortunately, Oreo’s family is moving abroad and she doesn’t get to go with them, landing her in great need once again. Oreo is good with kiddos, most other dogs, and enjoys playing with cats! She has through the month of November before she will be homeless once again. Don’t let this girl pass you by, she’s a family dog and she belongs in a home. Oreo is in foster in Colorado Springs, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Sade is a high energy German Shepherd, Boxer mix. She gets along with other dogs but needs to be supervised at first because she can be a bit annoying to other dogs with her play style. She gets along with cats, horses, donkeys, and smaller animals like chickens with supervision. She has not been to the vet in a year. She has some issues gaining weight which may be caused by eating a battery before we adopted her. We are rehoming her because we are not giving her the time she needs and deserves.

Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Delta’s outgoing and friendly personality shines through, and she gets along great with other dogs and pets, especially her medium-sized doggy pal. While she’s a bit nervous on a leash and needs some training, her potty training is already on point! Delta loves to play and cuddle, making her a true lap dog and love bug. She’s very close to her sister and would thrive in an active home with a medium to large dog to keep her company if not adopted together. Ready for a fun, loving companion? Come meet Delta on Saturday! ##2542872##

Story
Meet Dixie: Your Future Furry Best Friend!  Dixie is a delightful female puppy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This outgoing and friendly girl has a high energy level, making her the perfect companion for an active household. Dixie bonds quickly with new people, instantly winning over her foster family and even our male dog sitter. She’s a true love bug and lap dog, always ready to cuddle up after a fun play session. Dixie gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially her medium-sized playmate, and would thrive in a home with a medium to large dog if not adopted with her sister, whom she adores. She’s already doing great with potty training, but leash training is a work in progress—she’s a bit nervous on a leash and will need patient guidance to build her confidence. Her comfort with children, cats, and other pets is still unknown, but her friendly nature suggests she’ll adapt well with proper introductions. Dixie would shine in a lively, dog-friendly home where she can play, run, and snuggle to her heart’s content. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who brings joy to every moment, come meet Dixie on Saturday! ##2542870##
