She will sit or lay right next to you wherever you are like your personal sidekick. Indie has a more calmer nature, but when she’s excited she can also seem anxious. Which she is a little, she’s afraid of thunder and fireworks, and needs something to hold in her mouth (right now she has a bunny) when she’s excited. But she is so loyal and sweet. Loves belly scratches, she’ll actually give you her paw a million times, she wants you to scratch her belly. And finally, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is not fixed.

We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She is full of love, joy, and personality, and she has the biggest heart. She forms strong bonds with her people and truly just wants to be close to those she loves. She is a high-energy girl who needs space to run, play, and be herself, so a home with a backyard is very important for her. Kona would do best as the only pet where she can soak up all the love and attention, though a calm, small dog may be okay with the right match and slow introduction - currently has a 1 yr old frenchie brother. She is house trained and crate trained. She would thrive in a home with a family or individual who is home most of the time and can give her the time, exercise, and companionship she needs. Raleigh is a 3MO, 10lb long little Brindle pup. We are guessing she will be about 20-25lbs when full grown. raleigh and her siblings are all different and unique, which makes it hard for us to even guess what breeds they truly are. Honestly we have zero idea what their breeds are, but we know they are absolutely adorable, unique, and so, so sweet. Raleigh and her siblings were found as strays in a rural part of Texas. They were absolutely terrified at first. A wonderful rescue lady in the area brought all the pups back to her house and kept them safe until we could get them into our rescue program. They have really started to come out of their shells and learn all that life has to give - when you aren't busy fighting for your life in the middle of nowhere. Raleigh and her siblings are typical puppies. They love to play with each other, romp around with the fosters other dogs, and follow the foster around, cuirously watching them. They love to snuggle and hang out. Their forever families will need to be patient with them as they continue to learn all that life has to offer and that humans are kind and safe. While they have little legs, they would still love to have a sibling to play with or someone who can take them on daily walks/adventures and get them continual mental stimulation and socialization.
