She will sit or lay right next to you wherever you are like your personal sidekick. Indie has a more calmer nature, but when she’s excited she can also seem anxious. Which she is a little, she’s afraid of thunder and fireworks, and needs something to hold in her mouth (right now she has a bunny) when she’s excited. But she is so loyal and sweet. Loves belly scratches, she’ll actually give you her paw a million times, she wants you to scratch her belly. And finally, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is not fixed.

We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. I have had my boy Leon for 4.5 yrs. He will be 5 this April. Currently he does have some skin issues, not sure exactly what but right now he is missing some fur and I think has some sort of ear mites. Along with some rashes.I have done my best to treat them but at the moment not much seems to be helping him.He had parvo as a puppy and due to this he has a more sensitive tummy.And will not put any more weight than approx 50 lbs. He is an extremely good road trip dog. Loves walks but could use some more training. He is fine with most dogs. Does not do well with cats or horses. He has been having some reactive issues with people within the last year and needs a patient person willing to help him with those. He is a huge snuggler and definitely a velcro dog and will follow you everywhere.Very much a big baby. He is good at vocalizing his needs. He loves to be babied.

She came into my care because my birth mom is not able to take care of them due to going to a nursing home. I have a week with her before I have to give her to a shelter.

Kylo is a 8 year old pit mix. We aren’t sure what his breeding is. Our friend rescued him from Ohio and gave him to us back in 2017. Since we’ve had him, we’ve added 4 children to our family. It’s been very hard giving Kylo the love and care he needs. We also have a Goldendoodle named Manny who he’s bonded to. In a perfect world we’d love to rehome them together. Kylo would do well with anyone and with any other dog. We’ve never had other kind of animals around him so not sure how well he’d do with them. He’s very loyal and to a fault. He’s full of energy and loooves to cuddle. He really just needs all the lovings and attention.
