Stella is both energetic and cuddly, enjoying active playtime as well as quiet moments snuggled up with her people. Stella is a quiet and gentle dog who gets along very well with other dogs. She currently enjoys playing with her Border Collie foster sister and her Chihuahua foster brother. She also loves going for walks and is becoming more confident and comfortable on a leash each day. Stella would do best in a home with a safe, secure fenced yard, which will give her the space to play and help her feel secure. She would thrive in an active household that can provide regular exercise and opportunities for play. Stella is crate trained, appears to be potty trained, and does well with children. Desdemona is a people person! She loves to give you hugs and kisses and follow you all around the house. She is a medium energy girl and thrives with a balance of exercise and cuddle time. Desdemona originally came from a background where she didn't feel safe and did not have enough food. Because of this, she is leery of other animals and finds children frightening. At this time we are recommending she be adopted as an only pet to a home with no young children. Desdemona was potty trained for the past several years, but has regressed a little bit upon losing her stable home and coming back into foster care. We've found she does best if you stand outside with her in the yard until she does her business or walk her on leash. Desi really is a very sweet, loving girl. Kane is a 5 year old American Bulldog. We now have (2) kids under 2 years old and we worry about Kane around them. He has never harmed them, but growls around them occasionally. He also growls at our other American Bulldog. He is fantastic with my wife and I and other adults/older kids. He is fully potty trained and doesn’t require much attention. We have land and he loves just being outside staring off into the trees. With his bread comes some skin and health concerns. He is 75lbs so gets out of breath quick. He gets dry skin as well. We are devastated to make this decision as we have had him since 8 weeks old, but we have to look out for the worry of our kids. Someone please take him under your wing. Needs a relaxed house without other pets or young kids.
