Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: Older children only (13+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesZaria is an affectionate, and loyal girl with a real zest for life. She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He is a lovable, affectionate boy with a huge personality and an even bigger heart! This medium-energy pup has bursts of playful energy mixed with plenty of couch snuggle time. Hotch would do well in an active home to take him on fun walks and provide him with a lot of love.Hotch is very sociable and gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all ages and sizes. He would do well with or without a canine sibling. Hotch was curious about the cats in his foster home and would do fine with dog-savvy cats who don't mind a friendly sniff. He has done well with children ages 1 to 9 who are used to dogs, though he greets bigger and smaller humans alike, so he'd do best with dog-savvy kids. Hotch enjoys playing with stuffed toys and loves his walks around the neighborhood! This smart boy is eager to please! He is fully crate trained (sometimes just needing a little coaxing with a treat) and house trained. Hotch is crated during the day and overnight without any issues. He transitioned easily to potty training and has had zero accidents since coming north. Hotch is excellent on leash. If you're looking for an adventure buddy by day and snuggle buddy at night, then this goofy, lovable boy is for you! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Meet Rebel, a 2-3 month old boxer mix with the cutest ears and a personality that melts hearts. Weighing in at just 8 lbs, Rebel may be small, but his spirit is boundless. He was found abandoned at a construction site with his sister. We are thrilled someone took pity on them; taking care of them until we could step in to help. Without food, water, and shelter, survival was impossible. This little guy adores playing with his fur friends and cuddling up close, yet he’s also content to spend quiet moments on his own—no crazy barking, just peaceful tail wags. The perfect little pup!! Rebel’s happiest moments are when he’s surrounded by love, whether it’s from humans or fellow pups. His gentle nature makes him a joy to be around, and his wagging tail is always ready to greet you. We dare you not to smile once you lay eyes on this sweet, fun pup. Now, Rebel is looking for his forever home—a place where he can share his playful energy and affectionate cuddles with a family who will cherish him. If you’re seeking a loyal companion with a joyful spirit, Rebel is ready to bring warmth and happiness into your life. We hope a forever family will see the wonderful spirit Rebel has and give him the loving home he deserves.

Story
Meet the adorable Cookie! Cookie is a slightly older lady that still has a lot of pep in her step! She`s known for her bouncy prance while taking walks, her round soulful eyes, loving human food, and wearing a fashionable jacket to keep her from shivering on chilly days. Cookie is sensitive and gentle girl that lived a sheltered life before coming to the adoption center where she didn`t spend lots of time with new people or go into busy environments. Naturally, the busy pace of living in a shelter environment has not been easy for a homebody like her! She`s spending time away from the hustle and bustle in a foster home while she waits for her perfect adopter to come in and ask about her! Don`t be discouraged that Cookie is in foster, she`s still waiting for a home that can suit her needs and can come to the shelter to meet potential matches. In Cookie`s dream home, she would live in a quieter neighborhood with a calm home enrivonment. Once she settles in, she`s a snuggle bug! So she wants to make sure her new family has plenty of space on the couch for her to snuggle in. Cookie is looking for a home with adults or older teens to respect her space and keep a calm environment. Cookie would prefer to be the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with a cat! This sweet snuggly lady is ready to find a family to call her own! Please call or come into the adoption center to ask about her if you also enjoy being a laid back introvert!
