I adopted Hachi at a shelter when he was just a puppy. Hachi is now 3 (turning 4 in November). Hachi is a very energetic pup! He is always ready to play a game of tug or even fetching. He would do well in a home that has space for outdoor play. Inside the house, he is definitely a couch potato. He loves to have his own space, we currently have a kennel for him (he likes sleeping here) but he also enjoys a window spot on the couch. Hachi is very well behaved at home, he will not touch furniture unless told it’s okay. He’s a very intelligent pup and learns house rules quickly. Hachi would also benefit from an owner who has experience with dogs to continue his training. Hachi is potty trained and knows many of the basic commands but would benefits from continuing his reactivity training. He gets along well with older kids and people in general but needs reactivity training to be around other animals. Hachi is a sweet dog, he loves scratches, cuddles or really any type of affection.

Meet Sweet Mama Moosh! For years, Sweet Mama Moosh has known what it means to survive—but not what it feels like to truly belong. This beautiful 4-5 year old girl spent her life on the streets, where neighbors watched her lovingly raise at least two litters of puppies. While she made sure her babies were safe, no one was there to make sure she was. She endured hunger, uncertainty, and even an injured paw, yet somehow never lost her gentle, loving heart. When we trapped her, the plan was simply to spay her and return her to the streets. But after spending time with her, we knew we couldn't do it. Sweet Mama Moosh is far too affectionate, trusting, and deserving of love to spend another day wondering where she'll sleep or if she'll have enough to eat. She has fought to survive long enough. Now it's her turn to be cared for. Today, her paw has completely healed, and she has blossomed into a happy, healthy, beautiful girl who is finally ready for the life she's always deserved. She is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is now spayed, vaccinated, up to date on preventatives, potty trained and crate trained! Such an amazing girl!! She adores gentle pets, leisurely walks, and never says no to a tasty snack. 🥹 She has lived alongside other dogs on the streets. While she'll politely correct a dog that gets too pushy, she has otherwise done well around other dogs. Meet Lacy, our 2.5-year-old 50 lb rescue! She is an incredibly loving, loyal, and calm companion who just wants to be by your side. She loves snuggling up on the couch or in bed. Lacy is wonderfully behaved at home, fantastic on walks (non-reactive to people or other dogs), and has a blast playing at doggy daycare! As much as we adore her, we are expecting a baby and must make the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. Lacy bonds strongly and exhibits guarding behavior around me, especially when visitors arrive. She did have a bite incident in May 2025. Since then, we've invested in extensive training and tried medication, resulting in zero incidents since! Because she still shows protective tendencies, we and our trainer agree it isn't safe to keep her with a newborn. Lacy will absolutely thrive in a calm home without small children or frequent visitors, where she can be your snuggly best friend.

Dante needs an experienced, adult-only home with no children, no other dogs, cats, or small animals. He is reactive and needs someone who understands dog behavior. HE HAS A BITE HISTORY where he bit a small child. Aside from that, Dante is a handsome, deeply loved boxer with a big personality and an even bigger heart for his people. He was born in May 2020 and is part American boxer / part European boxer. He is loyal, expressive, and very bonded to the people he trusts. He has that classic boxer mix of goofiness, sensitivity, and intensity — he can be silly, affectionate, alert, and full of personality. Dante has had training, including board-and-train, and he has been loved and cared for his whole life. This is an incredibly difficult rehoming decision, and it is not being made because he is unwanted. Dante is very loved. We are looking for the right placement because our home with young children is no longer safe for him or for them.

He has bitten when he has felt overwhelmed or pushed beyond his comfort level, so it’s important that his body language and boundaries are respected. He also has food-guarding behaviors and should be left alone while eating. Veterinary visits can be stressful for him, and he may require special handling. Because of these needs, Milo is best suited for an adult-only home. Rehoming him is a heartbreaking decision as we prepare to welcome our newborn, and our greatest hope is to find him a loving, stable home where he can feel safe, understood, and truly thrive.
