She is a medium energy dog who enjoys a play session, followed by a nap. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs. She would also be fine as an only dog. Zaria happily entertains herself with toys or a romp in the backyard. She has lived with cats and has for the most part ignored their presence. Zaria loves her people and enjoys making new human friends. She can be an enthusiastic greeter and sometimes forgets her size, so older dog-savvy children would be best for her. Zaria enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and looks to her humans for reassurance and guidance in new situations. Zaria is an intelligent girl and very eager to please. She knows a plethora of commands, and loves to learn new things every day. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Zaria enjoys relaxing in her crate throughout the day and sleeps soundly in it overnight. She is looking for an experienced and patient adopter who will continue to provide her with structure and routine so she can continue to be her best self. Are you the lucky family who gets to add Zaria to your bunch? Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Willow Valentine's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Willow Valentine, a 10-week-old Boxer/Weimaraner mix. This gorgeous girl is also Greyhound, Terrier, Lab, Basenji and a million other things! Who needs a pack of Sweethearts when you got the sweetest girl at home! She's the Perfect American Mutt who weighs 9 pounds (as of 2/2/26) and comes from our VALENTINE litter. Willow and her siblings were given away at a Walmart parking lot in Tennessee just before Christmas and she hopes that Cupid will be on her side to connect her with her fur-ever Valentine! Come on, look at that adorable face! Get ready to be the most popular person on the block with Willow around as she's a friend to dogs, cats and children! Soon, your friends will become jealous because you're spending so much time with Willow instead of them and you know what? Good for you! Willow is all the friend you need this Valentine's Day! Skip the speed dating and disappointing blind dates and go on an adventure with energetic Willow by your side! Since Willow is still a teensie baby, all she asks is for patience from her fur-ever home as she adjusts to potty training, leashing and commands (though she's great with crates). In exchange for your help, Willow surprise you with a singing telegram to show you her love! This girl's a keeper! For medical history, Willow used to have ringworm, but we're happy to report that she is cured, healthy and ready for a home! Don't be bummed this Valentine's Day. Having Willow is all the Valentines you'll need! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works. Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. This stately gentleman hails from the Royal litter that was surrendered by their owners in Tennessee. But like every rags to riches story, Rhett knows greater things are on the horizon once he finds his future kingdom! Rhett is a ruler who's not only kind but generous. Thank you!** Roses are red, violets are blue, will you take Theo home with you? Meet Theo Valentine, a 10-week-old Boxer/Weimaraner mix who's also Greyhound, Terrier, Lab, and Basenji! Basically he's the Perfect American Mutt! This casanova weighs 9 pounds (as of 2/2/26) and hails from the VALENTINE litter. His siblings were given away at a Walmart parking lot in Tennessee just before Christmas. Theo is the kind of boy that will charm anyone with his infectious puppy energy. When he's not running around with his siblings or playing with his toys, you can find him writing sonnets like a modern day Shakespeare! This boy loves to love and you can bet he'll give you all the kisses and snuggles while you watch yet another Hallmark movie with Lacey Chabert. Theo doesn't mind one bit. In fact, hand him the popcorn 'cause he's invested! Theo gets along great with dogs, cats and children and is the perfect Valentine's date for when the person your mother recommended just doesn't measure up. He would be great with an active person or family as he has a lot of energy, but if you're as adventurous as he is, it's a match-made in heaven! Theo is still a baby so he'll need some patience from his fur-ever family when it comes to puppy training (potty, leashes, etc), but he's great with crates! Though honestly, you'll probably sleep better having him by your side anyway. In terms of medical history, Theo used to have ringworm, but we're happy to report that he is cured now and healthy!
