Story
Meet Tiffy — The Brilliant, Bouncy Boxer Mix With a Whole Lot of Heart Tiffy is an 8‑month‑old medium Boxer mix, around 42 pounds, who embodies everything we love about adolescent pups: she’s smart, silly, affectionate, and absolutely convinced that life is one big adventure. She’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to be part of a family who will guide her into adulthood with patience, structure, and lots of praise. This girl is sharp. She thrives on mental enrichment, puzzles, snuffle mats, lick mats, and Kongs are her daily favorites, and she solves them with impressive speed. She’s already mastered ringing bells to go outside and sleeps through the night without a peep. On leash, she’s fabulous and loves going for walks. Like a typical adolescent, Tiffy will try to push boundaries, but with the right corrections she becomes wonderfully submissive and responsive. She does best with someone who can confidently tell her “no” and “off,” then follow up with praise and treats. She wants to succeed, she just needs someone to show her how. Tiffy would do best in a cat‑free home, as she finds chasing them a little too exciting. She also has the potential to thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the attention she craves. She loves playing with her foster brothers, but she can get jealous when other dogs receive affection and may try to steal toys or treats. With consistency and structure, she’ll continue to mature beautifully. Her favorite activities include: Playing fetch (she’d love a ball launcher) - Tug of war. - Solving puzzles like a tiny genius. - Giving endless kisses. - Snuggling so deeply she feels like she’s trying to become part of your soul. - She’s also surprisingly sweet about wearing coats or sweaters, she doesn’t mind at all and looks adorable doing it. Tiffy is still in her puppy stage, so she needs to be crated when left alone for longer periods, even though she’s not a big fan of it yet. She also tends to get anxious or carsick during car rides, so she’ll need a patient family willing to help her build confidence there. Tiffy is a bright, loving, eager‑to‑please pup who’s ready to bond deeply with her forever family. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you active, and love you with her whole heart, Tiffy is waiting to meet you. 📩 Apply to Adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Do you have tennis balls, like a lot of them, if not will you buy some? If your answer is yes than you might be the home for me! See I am simple girl but I do require lots of tennis balls!! I like other toys but nothing gets me as excited as having tennis balls! My foster says I am just a happy gal, that is good with all people even kiddos! I am house broken, but I may have had a couple accidents but I am still recovering from taking care of my 5 babies for the last several weeks. They all have found their forever homes and now it’s my turn. I was a great mom but my foster promised I never ever have to do it again, which sounds perfect to me! I really love my foster home. See, I also get alone time and have my own room, I have adults and kids who play fetch with me a few times a day. They all helped me get better on the leash, to come when I was called, I am actually even starting to learn how to settle down and watch TV. I would probably like to stay here but they have some big dogs here, I just don’t like when they get in my way. My foster thinks I will much prefer to be the only dog in a home.  I think that is true at least to start. The cats here don’t bother me. Did I mention my NEED for tennis balls, oh I did, okay. Well that’s all for now. Let lastdaydogrescue.org know if you want to meet me by filling out an application. Click here to watch a video of Pu Litter Eevee (Mom) - ADOPTION PENDING.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. April 28, 2026, 4:31 pm
