Lexie is a 6 year old Boxer/Lab mix (among other things). She is super sweet, affectionate, and loves to go on walks and run around in the snow. We adopted Lexie 5 years ago out of foster care. Since then, we have had two kids and recently moved to the Detroit area for new jobs. We are feeling a bit overwhelmed and as a result, we have not been able to give her the attention as she deserves (two walks a day and some play time at the very least). We are hoping to find a new family that can spend quality time with her and give her her best life. She should go to a home that does not have cats and also no young kids, but she would be fine with other dogs. She should be fine with older kids, but we believe the unpredictable nature of our toddlers is making Lexie a bit nervous, leading to a few instances of her knocking them down while playing or seeking our attention. She had her annual vet visit and was fully updated on vaccinations in January 2025, she is in great health.

Whiskey was born July 15, 2023. He came into rescue at 8 weeks old when the owner couldn’t find him a home. His mother is boxer and father Black and Tan hound. (Pictures of parents attached.) He is a sweet playful pup that has done great with small and large dogs. He is crate trained and doing very well with his house training. He loves toys and sticks to chew on. This boy was surrendered with his siblings after being dumped in a yard. They are a sweet group of pups. Caine is the shyest but is still friendly. He likes to play and gets along with other dogs. He will need housetraining as he has never been in a house. He is working on learning some commands and how to walk on a leash. He has the sweetest face and a personality to match! He would love to finally find his forever home and we know its out there! He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

She is learning how to sit and stay down but will need all the basic puppy training. She has never left the shelter so will need patience when learning house manners. She is a lot of fun and would love to go on adventures with an active family. She has not been around cats so, if needed, will need to learn how to act around them. She gets along with other dogs her size, we aren't sure about smaller dogs so she will need to learn those manners and how to be with cats. Rosy is a very sweet dog but, she is very needy. She loves to be up under you, and all throw tantrums when she isn't. I got her from someone in the community a few months ago. I like her, but can't deal with the constant need for attention. If I play video games, she will use her nose to throw my hand from the controller. I'm hoping she finds a home with someone who can give her the attention she wants. She is crate trained, which I will give you. I also have a pet vacuum with attachments that I will also include.
