Hello, my name is Calvin! I'm a sweet boy with a gentle and shy demeanor. I am about a year old and weigh 50 pounds. Apparently, I’m a gorgeous chocolatey muffin if you listen to the nice volunteers here at the rescue! I'm looking for a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and cared for. I am a bit submissive and unsure of new things and people, but I'm a pleaser and I want to trust you. I perk up and get all playful with toys when I feel safe, and I release them nicely when it’s time. I just need a leader to rely on, and an adopter who has the time and patience to help build my confidence. Are you the one I have been waiting for? It’s important I think to have another friendly dog in the home, I open up more and really find my confidence when they are around. I love to play with other dogs and am all soft and loose. I will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old with my shy nature. I just know I will blossom in the right, loving home. Oh, how I wish for a family to love me. What a cuddle bug! Odin is estimated to be about 5 years old and weighs 45 pounds. Oh, there is just so much to say about sweet Odin, where to begin? He is a very well-mannered, quiet, and gentle natured boy, who is very affectionate. He likes to be close and seeks comfort and reassurance from you. With his gentle kisses and love for laps, he is truly going to make someone an incredible best friend. Odin can be a little shy and takes just a minute to open up and trust, but when he does, it is a beautiful thing to see. We are not sure what has happened in his past, some type of trauma with all the scarring he has on his body, the poor muffin. But you would never know with all the sweetness inside of him. Odin would love a quieter, more predictable type home where any children are at least 13 years old with his quiet nature. He needs a patient adopter who will take the time to help build his confidence and trust. Odin is dreaming of a forever home filled with love, he is a true gentleman, and any family would be so lucky to have him.
