Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 09/20/2016 Hi there, my name is Bishop, and I am looking for my forever home. My foster mom says that I couldn't hurt a fly. I am such a loving, gentle, snuggly soul. Although I am 7 years old, I believe that I am 7 years young. I love to meet new people, go on adventures, go on walks, and just spend all my time with people. I have been around all kinds of people, from kids to adults and I love them all. I have also been around dogs and cats, and like them too. I really am just a lovebug and as my foster mom also says: I am petite and sweet. I do have something called heartworms, which I am undergoing treatment for, and I should be done with treatment in a couple months' time. This does not stop me from being adopted as I am still able to go home with you under the foster-to-adopt program that RUFF has. If you are interested in adding such a chill, laid-back, love bug to your family, I'm your guy! Please don't hesitate to email RUFF for more information on me, and for a meet and greet. I look forward to being a part of your family.  (KG/AF*) Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, will be neutered after my heartworm treatment is completed.    Adoption Fee:  $100.00    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 26, 2024, 9:41 pm

Story
I'm fostering Nahla because my ex-husband passed away. She's 1 year old and was raised on a farm. She's very respectful to other animals and is wonderful with kids. Nahla would be suited with someone who has a fenced yard so she can run. She's outdoors 50% of the time. She's trained to sit, down, and stay. She's great for walking. Always stays on my right side and doesn't pull. My neighbor is a jogger, and he's been taking her on his morning runs. I'm in an apartment and can only keep her for two months. Nahla has a calm and sweet demeanor.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please be sure to click on Cassi's photo to learn all about her, and the home we are seeking for her placement.Cassi is a very sweet and sensitive girl who is looking for a laid back family to call her own.  She would love another dog in her forever home that is confident and well behaved, to help show her that new things aren't scary.  She does have some anxiety, and is currently taking medications that are making a huge difference for her.  She would do best living in a home with experienced dog owners who are patient with her, and willing to provide a consistent environment for her to thrive.  She would do well with kitties, but they should a dog savvy cat would be best.  Cassi can be vocal, so she would not do well in high density housing.   Cassi needs humans who are not gone for long hours.  All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older.  She requires a fenced in yard (physical fencing no invisible fences please).  She is up to date on preventative medications, vaccines and has been spayed and micro chipped too. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2024, 1:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please click on Celeste's photo in order to read all about her and the home we are seeking for her placement.Celeste is a total love, she adores her humans and aims to please.  She loves to wrestle with her canine pals, and would adore another dog in the home to play with.  Her favorite activity is to go on walks and hikes, so she definitely requires an active home that will supply regular exercise.  Her second favorite activity is fetch, so sessions of retrieving between exploration sessions is a winning combo for her in life.  But don't worry, one this girl has an outing- she's all about the cuddle sessions too- fair warning- she's a total couch and bed hog...  She lives with cats in her foster home, but does best with a confident cat who will not be timid in her presence.  Only confident, and dog savvy cats would work with Celeste- she requires boundaries where cats are concerned.   Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours.  She does require a fenced in yard (physical fencing, no invisible fences please).  All humans in the home should be 8 years of age, or older.  She has been spayed and microchipped, and is current on preventatives and vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2024, 1:43 pm

I`m a stylishly senior pet and therefore my adoption fee has been reduced. If you are 65 and older and interested in adopting me, ask staff about our Senior Squared deal! Go to this page for more information about available pets, adopting, visiting our facility, and contacting our adoption desk.Patches ended up at the shelter for not adjusting well to a new puppy in her previous home. Go slowly, show her some TLC and earn her trust, and you`ll see she`s the sweetest! She`s patient, pleasant and calm, walks nicely on the leash and takes treats politely. Her steadiness has allowed her to adjust to the busy shelter environment; she loves any attention received, and deserves to spend her llife in a home where she is appreciated.

Good with kids,
Story
We found the whole liter of puppies on the side of the highway on November 8th 2023. She was the only one with a white face so we picked her to get off the streets and called animal control to come rescue the rest. It was very obvious she was malnourished being that her rib cage was super visible. We believe the old owners use to abuse the puppies because she use to wake up to every lil sound you make and would lean back and get scared if you reached for her. Since we have had her she has calmed down a lot and is much more open to meeting new people. As far as dogs she is shy at first but once trust is gained she is a big burst of energy :). We woulda kept her a lil longer but the new landlord don’t allow her type and we refuse to just kick her out on the streets again. We never planned on keeping her forever though so her adoption fee is 0. regardless of the money we’ve spent on her she has to go. we just wanted to get her off the streets.

Story
Django, a 75lb Pitbull, is 9 years old and displays no behavioral issues. He is well-versed in house training and has received training classes at PetSmart since he was a puppy. Known for his calm demeanor, affectionate nature, and excellent compatibility with kids and other dogs, Django readily welcomes children of all ages and enjoys being in the company of people. He is up to date with all his vaccinations, and his complete medical records and history are accessible at Banfield. As I navigate the complexities of an ongoing high-conflict custody and divorce case, along with the mental strain it entails, I find myself unable to continue caring for this animal. My daily struggles have reached a point where I cannot bear the additional burden on my own well-being. Moreover, impending relocation necessitates parting ways with this pet. Each passing day, the stress intensifies, and I urgently need to have this animal relocated to restore peace and facilitate my progress moving forward.
