Story
Hi, my name is Harriett! Pleased to meet you! I am a fun loving girl! I love playing with my foster siblings, we have such a great time together. We run around in the yard, then find a nice spot in the sunshine for a good nap.  My foster family tells me that I'm doing so well with my training - I know sit, here, and when to go in my crate.  I also ride nicely in the car and walk well on the leash! I love exploring and playing. I am a cute little lady who is looking for the perfect home. Please apply to meet me today! ##1332413##

Story
I am a fun loving pup who loves people, food, some dogs, toys, and did I say food yet? I don't have a lot of control of my back legs but I don't let that slow me down at all! I pull myself along and my foster mom and auntie call me Tokyo drift because when I get going I just slide all around. I also have some cool wheels that I wear for walks and going out in the town, but when I get those on I hear all the humans say to watch out for your toes. My foster mom says I am really smart because I have already learned how to wait for my delicious food, touch games, come, and lots more! I don't like to share my food but to be fair who does, but my foster mom and I are working on polite ways to tell friends to back off my food.  I get along really well with dogs I know, but meeting new friends can sometimes be challenging for me, so it may take time for me to make friends. If you want to know more about me then you will have to wait and meet me, I'm a mysterious guy ;) I am looking for someone really special to take me home. I need someone who will be patient and willing to put the time into me, treat me like the little king that I am. I need a family who will play with me, love me unconditionally, and teach me new and exciting things. I would also love to have another dog sibling that I can rough house with. I don't know what is going on with my legs but I am hopeful that with a family to call my own I can live a happy and full life like other dogs. I can't wait to meet you and turn your life upside down, but in a good way of course! pipsrescue.org/adopt ##1637869##

Story
Maggie has a big heart and is ready to give someone her love unconditionally to and she will do it in return!  Maggie wants nothing more than a person to love her as much as she loves them. She has the best puppy dog eyes that will melt way any bad day you may have!  Come meet Maggie at Heritage Animal Hospital; upon arrival she will shake your hand, give you a sweet hug or provide you some much needed slobbery kisses. Once the initial introductions are completed, a good ole belly rub will do the trick.  Speaking of tricks, Maggie already knows things like SIT and STAY. Smart and sweet girl!  She is well mannered and good protector.   Look at that SMILE; She absolutely LOVES people!  She does needs to be an only dog but that isn't a big thing.  She gets along ok with those other furry friends called felines.  So if you have a dog savvy cat, Maggie would like to meet you!  She is a fun loving, roll in the grass, life of the party, cuddle bug girl who knows a good thing when she sees it!   Her estimated age is 7 years old. So you know you skip all the craziness of puppyhood, like crate training, potty training, chewing on everything, and you get a the liviliness without all the puppy training.   Note: Courtesy post and if interested in giving this girl a loving and happy home or want more info on Maggie, contact Heritage Animal Hospital at 919-435-1978.  She has been with HAH for over a year and really wants to find a loving, caring and special family to call HER OWN! ##1056850##

Story
DOB is 09/22/2021.  She is a boxer mix, and 100% adorable.  MJ is a petite gal with a lot of love to give. She LOVES to go on sniffaris in quiet places, play tug-o-war with her human or dog friend. This girl loves snuggles and will take whatever she can get!   She is fostered with multiple other dogs and requires a confident fur friend to help her navigate the world that she can find a bit scary and overwhelming. MJ is a little nervous when she sees dogs and people when she is on leash but we have been working with her on this and she is making good progress! MJ will do a pass on those other furry friends called kitties they just aren't her jam.   She would do best in a single family home (no condos or townhouses for this girl) and a quiet neighborhood. A fenced in backyard would be great, but in order for her to live her best life she needs a family/owner that will continue taking her out and continue to build her confidence in her new world. She does well meeting new people once they have come into the house and are sitting down.   MJ is fostered by her trainer. Her trainer is offering 3 free training sessions to her adoptive family so her family can continue her training at home.    As part of MJ's $250 adoption fee, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt MJ, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org ##1448773##

Story
(DOB 3/20/2023).  Due to Spice's young age, she has not yet been spayed.  For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).   Her name may be Spice but she’s actually full of sweetness! This cuddle queen is on a mission to find a happy family that will shower her with pets, belly rubs, and loads of attention. If you're always on the move, fear not! Spice is a car ride enthusiast and would make the perfect travel companion for your exciting adventures.   Spice dreams of having someone by her side most of the time, so she's looking for a stay-at-home or work-from-home parent, or even a family that can introduce her to the wonders of doggie daycare. Plus, she adores her foster siblings and hopes to find a forever home with some doggie pals that match her playful energy and can continue to help her socialize. Cats? No problem at all! Spice will happily snuggle up with them for cozy naps.   This brilliant and confident girl has already conquered the art of climbing stairs like a pro! She's also making great strides in her crate training and sleeps peacefully in her comfy crate at night. House training and leash skills are her current projects, but she's putting in the effort to become a superstar in those departments too. So, if you're a patient and loving family, Spice will surely thrive under your guidance!   Get ready to spice up your life with this adorable bundle of joy. Don't miss the chance to bring home the one and only, Spice!   As part of Spice's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.  If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Spice, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1718268##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rebel is an AWESOME boxer-mix who is neutered and microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. He knows basic commands and is crate trained. Rebel is extremely smart and loves attention. He is great with kids and female dogs. Being such a BIG and playful boy (about 80 pounds), he may be too energetic around smaller kids. Rebel’s doing well with house training and learning not to pull when walking on a leash.September 24, 2023, 11:02 am
