Story
🐾 Introducing Sweet Honeybun! 🐾 Sweet Honeybun is a joyful, affectionate girl with a playful spark and a whole lot of love to give. Curious and energetic, she thrives with a steady routine and would shine brightest as the center of attention in her forever home. While she gets along well with other dogs, she’s happiest when she can soak up all the love for herself. This smart pup is house-trained, crate-trained, knows how to sit, and takes treats with the softest, sweetest manners. Sweet Honeybun absolutely lights up when meeting new people. She feels most comfortable in a small, calm household and would do wonderfully in a low‑energy environment. On walks, she stays relaxed when passing other dogs and is continuing to refine her leash skills. She’s ready to bring her goofy grin, gentle nature, and endless affection to a family who will cherish her just as much as she’ll cherish them. HEALTH She’s spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully current on vaccines and preventatives. HISTORY Sweet Honeybun is from a local shelter where she arrived as a stray. She was a staff and volunteer favorite. PHYSICAL She has a slim, athletic build, a short fawn coat and white chest.

Story
Meet Romi, a 3-month-old, 19-lb sweetheart who was dropped off in front of a rescuers home with his brother Bam Bam and their starving mama. This little family had been completely let down by humans, but thankfully they were left with someone who knew they deserved saving. Romi is the more athletic and adventurous brother — playful, curious, and ready to explore — but underneath all that puppy energy is a total cuddle bug. He loves affection, being close to his people, and curling up for snuggles after playtime. Romi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to his forever home once adopted. Hes ready to trade his heartbreaking beginning for a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and being someones very best boy.

Story
This pup is eligible for our Test the Couch program — a 7-day trial adoption to see if your home (and your couch) is the perfect fit. Learn more  https://pipsrescue.org/test-the-couch/ Meet Iris, a sweet, snuggly, and old soul who is ready to retire into her dream home. She’s all about the simple pleasures in life like leisurely walks, expert level naps, and maximum coziness. Iris is affectionate, loyal, and deeply devoted to her person. She lives for attention, couch cuddles, and strategically placing herself at your feet while you work so you never forget she’s there. She is an excellent car ride companion and enjoys getting out for adventures, though she can occasionally put a little extra enthusiasm into the leash. At home, she is a professional snoozer and odds are high you will find her exactly where you left her, usually on the couch. When it comes to other dogs, Iris knows what she likes. She requires slow, thoughtful introductions and prefers older, neutral males or being your one and only. Dominant female dogs need not apply. She can coexist with a younger neutral female with management, but in her heart she prefers calm, middle aged or senior companions. Puppies are tolerated in short doses, but she has officially entered her “get off my lawn” era and has no interest in raising the neighborhood hooligans. Because Iris is a bit older and sometimes likes her personal space respected, a home with kids over 10 is recommended. She is sweet and loving, but sore joints and grabby hands are not her idea of a good time. Iris is firmly anti crate and would like that known. She does just fine left out or in a dog safe room. Her biggest temptations include bathroom trash cans, unattended dirty laundry, and food left on low tables. Counters and dining tables are safe. She will not chew toys, Legos, or stuffed animals. Her true hobbies are napping and quietly supervising household activities. She comes with some endearing quirks. A bag of dog food left on the floor is suspicious and will be guarded. Put that same food in a bin and all is right with the world. At night, Iris sometimes hears very important things, possibly a squirrel sneezing or a leaf thinking too loudly, and feels the need to report it. A box fan or white noise machine helps her sleep peacefully. Iris tolerates baths and nail trims like a champ, though she can be a little sensitive about her ears. She is quirky, loving, loyal, and bonds deeply with her people. Iris is looking for a calm, understanding home that appreciates a seasoned dog with opinions, boundaries, and a whole lot of love to give. If you are searching for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to nap near you, supervise your life, and be adored in return, Iris might just be your girl. ##2285665##

Story
Meet Selena! This super sweet, energetic, and loving girl is ready for her forever home! She is an absolute goofball and is welcoming to any and everyone. It's hard not to fall in love with her. Selena is fully potty trained and has had no accidents despite recently living in a boarding facility. Selena is a high energy dog who loves to run around and burn off lots of energy! Her favorite thing to do is go on a long walk at the end of the day. Selena would thrive with an owner who can dedicate a couple of hours a day of exercising her. Selena would best fit in a home with no cats or small animals given her history of liking to chase small animals. Selena is quite the escape artist and can break out of a normal wire crate. She is also super snuggly and loves getting lots of attention. She does have a heart murmur that has been assessed by a cardiologist - she has no symptoms, so she is currently on a twice a day pill that she takes in a treat! If you're looking for a sweet, cuddly, and energetic pup, Selena might be the perfect match for you!Adoption fee of $150 includes spay, microchip, vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing, and heartworm/flea/tick preventionApply here: https://2pawsup.org/applications/adoption-application/March 11, 2026, 12:57 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Celeste is a total love, she adores her humans and aims to please.  She loves to wrestle with her canine pals, and would adore another dog in the home to play with.  Her favorite activity is to go on walks and hikes, so she definitely requires an active home that will supply regular exercise.  Her second favorite activity is fetch, so sessions of retrieving between exploration sessions is a winning combo for her in life.  But don't worry, one this girl has an outing- she's all about the cuddle sessions too- fair warning- she's a total couch and bed hog...  She would love another dog in her forever home- she is a wonderful buddy to dogs- both big and small.   Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours.  She does require a fenced in yard (physical fencing, no invisible fences please).  All humans in the home should be 6 years of age, or older.  She has been spayed and microchipped, and is current on preventatives and vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 22, 2026, 11:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lobster is a playful pup, full of joy.  He likes to play ball, run around in the yard, chew on his chew toys, ride in the car, and meet new people.  He is happy to be in his crate as long as he gets to run and play after a few hours.  He is potty-trained and he thinks the doggie door is super fun!  When he is in his routine he will even "go potty" on command.  In the evening after dinner he likes to cuddle before going to bed.   Lobster is full of love and he is going to make the right person a wonderful companion. He is a smart pup who has already had a lot of training.  He loves going out and practicing what he has learned.  He does best with structure and understands that he needs to follow rules (although he will test you to see if you are watching once in a while!).  A home without other pets would be best.  He adores  children, a home with children 6 and over would be a dream come true.  His ideal home would be with an active family who enjoys practicing his obedience training and teaching him new things.  He is very smart and a good listener, but he needs a strong role model who has time to spend with him.   He will give you endless love in return!      Click here to watch a video of Lobster.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 22, 2026, 11:40 pm

Story
Meet MeeMaw! Yes, she's old. Like, "remembers when gas was cheap" old. Her hearing? Optional. Her hips? They file a complaint every time she stands up. Her teeth? Let's just say they've had a long career. But do you know what else she is? Absolutely wonderful! MeeMaw is a 14-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix and the ultimate velcro dog. She will be your loyal shadow around the house and loves nothing more than curling up next to you on the couch. She’s housebroken, crate trained, wonderfully quiet, and coexists peacefully with both dogs and cats. She walks like a dream on a leash, adores rolling around in the grass, and doesn't let her missing teeth or arthritic joints slow down her gentle, loving spirit. MeeMaw is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and receiving pain management for her arthritis, which makes her eligible for our Post-Medical Adoption Program! You get to take this sweet girl home to recover in comfort now, while HAR covers the remaining cost of her heartworm treatment. If you're ready to be the Moonpie to this sweet 'ol MeeMaw, apply to adopt her today and give this perfect golden girl the cozy spot on the couch she deserves!

Story
🐾 Meet Dot! This precious little girl is proof that a rough beginning doesn’t have to define your future. At around a year old and 36 pounds, Dot came from a property where she and many other dogs lived exclusively outdoors. She had already had a litter of four puppies (all of whom have been adopted!) and now it’s Dot’s turn to discover just how wonderful life can be. When Dot first arrived in foster care, she was understandably timid and unsure of this strange new world. But this brave little girl has been blossoming every day. She has learned to sit, uses a doggy door, is quickly picking up house and crate training, and walks beautifully on a leash. In fact, she has such lovely leash manners that she puts her furry foster brother to shame on their neighborhood walks! Dot is still cautious around new people, places, sounds, and experiences, but gentle guidance, patience, and praise help her find her confidence. Once Dot knows you, prepare to have a little shadow! She loves being close to her person and will happily stick by your side. If you leave her sight and don’t allow her to tag along, she’ll patiently wait for you to return. She is currently living with young, rambunctious kids and has been wonderful with them, remaining generally unbothered by their noise and antics. Dot has always lived alongside other dogs, and she’s recently discovered that they can be even more fun than she realized! Her playful one-year-old foster brother has taught her all about the joys of chasing and wrestling, and she’s becoming quite the enthusiastic playmate. Dot would love a canine sibling of any age or size, but she could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She is currently learning how to be comfortable around cats, and we think she may do well with them given patient, slow, and positive introductions. Dot is still a little underweight and her itchy skin is healing, but she is well on her way to being the happy, healthy girl she was always meant to be. Watching her glow up in foster care has been incredibly rewarding. There’s still plenty for this sweet girl to learn, but she is a quick study when someone gives her the confidence and encouragement she needs. Dot is looking for a patient family who will introduce her to the world at her own pace and celebrate all of her little victories along the way. In return, she’ll give you gentle kisses, a loyal shadow at your side, and a whole lot of love. 💕 If you are interested in Dot, click Apply for Adoption! If you're on Adopt-a-Pet or PetFinder, please visit https://www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to apply!
