Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello! My name is Tank! I'm a 4 year old boxer mix that is ready to be your one true love!  Life has not been the best for me. I had a home but my owner had to give me up. He couldn't care for me, and I had significant hair loss. I was at the shelter for a long time and then this weird thing happened, my shelter home started flooding. I hear people say it was something about a hurricane named Helene. Anyways, this nice lady rescued me, but then her home flooded too! Long story short, Pawfect Match took me in and here I am, looking for a home.  So now that you know my story let me tell you a little about me. I currently live with my foster dad. It's just me and him. He gives me the best belly rubs, which I love sooooo much! He also plays tug-of-war with me and fetch. Those are my favorite games. In return, I'm a good boy. I use the potty outside and make sure to get in his lap for cuddles so he knows how much I love him!  Foster dad says I'm a funny guy! I can be a bit dramatic sometimes. Like when foster dad is busy and can't pet me or play with me, I give him a little huff so he knows I'm still here. When foster dad finally remembers me, I do this funny thing when foster dad pets me and I bend my whole body over his leg. I will also stand on him while he sits on the couch just so he remembers I'm there.  I do all the things most dogs do like potty outside. I'm good in a crate and I never destroy anything in the house. I really don't know why I'm not adopted! I do need to be an only dog but trust me, I'm all the love you need. Please consider adopting me today. I really want to know what a forever home feels like! If it's half as good as a foster home, then I know I'll love it! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › You'll never meet a snugglier guy! Bruce loves to love and will greet you with a wiggly butt, the softest brown eyes, and the ultimate snuggle session every time you come home.  His second favorite thing after snuggles? Tennis balls! Although, they're less for fetching and more for throwing and carrying around. Bruce is a lower energy guy and doesn't require a whole lot of exercise. A short walk and some time in the yard and he's right back to snoring on the couch.  Bruce is a champ at reading other dogs and will adjust his playstyle and level of engagement based on what they're comfortable with. His current foster sister isn't a big fan of other dogs and he is incredibly respectful of her space. He's even lived with small dogs before and is a perfect gentleman with the kitties in his foster home!  Bruce would really love to have another dog in the home to make the time pass quicker when you're gone. While he struggled with separation distress at first, he's built lots of confidence in his foster home and found a great, cheap medication that makes his separation distress very manageable.  When you return home, he'll show off his favorite trick- a big hug! He knows some other basic cues like sit, down, place, and stay, and he is potty trained and leash trained. He'd love to snuggle in your bed and ensure you have the sweetest dreams, but he'll settle for a dog bed on the floor if that's not your style. If you're good at giving belly rubs and have a dog that wants a buddy, you've found your guy! You won't find a more sweet natured pup!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 9, 2025, 9:34 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hey there, I'm Kobe and I'm on a mission to fill your life with endless cuddles and tail wags! I was recently rescued off death row from Rowan County. Here's a little peek into what makes me special: Cuddle Expert: I'm a certified cuddle connoisseur! There's nothing I love more than snuggling up with my humans for some quality bonding time. Get ready for lots of warmth and love, especially during movie time! Leash Learning Pro: I may be new to this whole leash thing, but I'm eager to learn! I'm learning not to pull but every walk is an adventure, and I'm excited to explore the world by your side. Food Enthusiast and Trust Builder: I'm cautious at first, but I quickly warm up to people, especially if they offer me tasty treats! Food is the key to my heart, and once you have my trust, I'll love you forever. So let's bond over some delicious snacks and build a lifelong friendship together! Friendly Socialite: Although I've attempted to engage in playful antics with my doggy brother, he prefers a more laid-back vibe. My parents think I may need to learn the art of sharing affection with other pups who match my energy and enthusiasm. So let's find some new furry friends to romp and play with together, as I navigate the world of canine camaraderie! I do well with small dogs and big dogs if they are not overly energetic. Road Trip Ready: I'm a pro when it comes to car rides – no motion sickness here! Let's embark on some fun adventures together! Potty Prodigy: Good news – I've got this whole potty training thing down! Say goodbye to accidents because I'm a pro at doing my business in all the right places. Crating Expert: I'm crate trained. Just make sure to leave me with a Kong and some treats! Ready to welcome some love, laughter, and tail wags into your life? Then look no further – I can't wait to become your new best friend! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sweetie Pie is an exceptionally sweet and loving soul.   Sweetie is one of those dogs whose sweetness is evident the very first time you look into her eyes. She was found as a stray in South Carolina and gave birth to her puppies at the shelter on October 9th.  She was brought into foster by Pawfect Match when they were only a few weeks old.  Her puppies are now weaned and ready for their forever homes and Sweetie is looking for her forever family too.  She has a warm, loving, and truly special soul and deserves a family that will give her all the love she deeply deserves.   Sweetie is solid black with a white chest and a few white dipped back toes. She has a couple of scars on her head from her past and a light dusting of white around her face, that at first glance appear to be more scars, but are simply markings on her otherwise black coat.  The two scars on her face are not severe and do not take away from her beautiful, sweet face. She currently weighs 54 pounds and may weigh closer to 50 when her milk dries up and she loses the 'baby weight'. But she truly believes she is a tiny lap dog and will happily try to prove it!Sweetie is housetrained, wonderful on a leash and an incredibly affectionate girl.   Sweetie adores people, and so far has not met one she doesn't like.  When meeting someone new, she often puddles to the ground for belly rubs or gently tries to climb into your lap.  She is a true snuggle companion who craves closeness and connection and wants nothing more than to be right by your side. When you pet her head, she closes her eyes and snores in the cutest way possible.  Sweetie does not seem to mind other dogs, especially common gentle ones. She clearly prefers people above all else. She has had limited interactions with other dogs, but wags her tail and offers friendly licks through the gate, which is always a good sign. With more time and exposure, we feel confident she will do great with other dogs. She has also been around an outdoor cat, chickens, and turkeys and shows no interest or aggression towards them at all. What truly sets Sweetie apart is her deep need for affection and connection, as well as her capacity to reciprocate it. It is clear she likely experienced significant neglect and possibly abuse in her past. Because of this, she can be timid at first, but when you show her kindness and gentle affection, she closes her eyes and completely melts into your hands in a way that feels different from most dogs. She does not just enjoy affection, she needs it. Love and gentle touch are where she feels safest. Sweetie would do best in a home where she is not left alone or placed in a crate for long stretches of time.  She is perfectly house-trained and does best when left loose in the home, rather than confined to a crate or cage. While she could adapt to many environments, she truly needs a consistent, affectionate, emotionally connected owner. Someone who understands how much she has been through and who will pour love, patience, and kindness into her every single day. She thrives on quality time and is deeply grateful for the safety and care she now has.  Considering everything she has endured, Sweetie would have every reason to be fearful, defensive, or shut down, but she is not. Instead, she is unbelievably gentle, loving, and trusting. She needs a compassionate adopter who will protect her from ever feeling alone, forgotten, or unloved again.  Sweetie Pie was rescued from being put down at the shelter once her puppies were weaned, since she is heartworm-positive, which is completely curable but they didn't have the resources at the shelter. She has already survived more than most dogs ever should. Now she is simply waiting for the one person who will choose her, love her deeply, and complete her rescue story by welcoming her into a safe, warm, and loving forever home.  Sweetie is still young and has a beautiful life ahead of her. She will reward the right person with unwavering loyalty, deep affection, and a bond that feels truly special. Once you meet her, you will immediately understand just how extraordinary she is. Sweetie Pie is exactly that, pure sweetness!  She will melt your heart and become a devoted, loving companion for many years to come!************************************************************************ The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an applicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 16, 2025, 5:20 pm
