🐾 Meet Laika! 🐾 Introducing Laika, the happiest, bounciest girl who instantly rolls over for belly rubs from anyone she meets. With her gentle and submissive nature, Laika is a joy to be around. She particularly loves playing with male dogs and truly enjoys their company! Watch her adoption video here! At about 60 pounds and estimated to be around three years old, Laika might be a boxer-pit mix, though we can't be sure. What's undeniable is her ever-wagging tail and her infectious enthusiasm for life. Laika welcomes everyone like long-lost friends, eager to share her love and get some affection. Not just friendly with people, Laika has also shown excellent manners with other pets. She's fantastic with cats—she remains cheerful and playful even when swatted a few times. When introduced to dogs, her energy knows no bounds, thriving in the company of those who match her rough and playful style. Currently fostered in Texas, Laika spends her days joyfully romping around the backyard with her four-legged foster siblings. She often gets vocal during play to show just how much fun she's having. She's intuitive with other dogs' behaviors and respectful of boundaries, making her a well-balanced playmate. Laika's cuddle sessions are just as legendary as her playtime. She's known to worm her way next to you on the couch, quickly turning into "Licka Laika" with generous kisses. If you're looking for a pup as affectionate as she is playful, Laika is the perfect match. She's also a hit with children, offering gentle kisses and showing an incredible softness around them. Though her excitement can sometimes lead to jumping, she quickly calms down with a gentle reminder. Laika would thrive in a home that matches her energy and affection. She would love a canine companion to play with and would benefit from continued training, especially on the leash, where her curiosity and strength can be a handful. Whether you have a house with a yard or a spacious apartment, if you're active and can provide the interaction she craves, Laika will fit right in. Ready to add a dose of joy to your life with a dog who's all about love and fun? Story
Benny was rescued in Texas and has adapted really well to being the best boy. He is the sweetest pit Bull mix you’ll meet. He loves people and loves to cuddle and play. He is 4.5-5 years old and is house trained. He’s really smart. Due to a new career shift that requires traveling for weeks at a time, Benny’s mom has made the heartbreaking decision to try and give him a better life by rehoming him with someone who can really take care of him (and she is very open to an open adoption!). He is aggressive with other dogs and very territorial. He needs someone with a yard, no other pets (at first), and dedicated to getting him better behaviorally trained. His behavior is not why he is getting rehomed — it is not his fault. Please help him find a real forever home. With rehoming, Benny needs to take his things! you will get the following: - two beds - food and water tray - water dispenser - food to last 2+ weeks - plenty of toys and treats.
