******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Story
LUNA is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. We found a home for several of the pups but this little cutie and one of her sisters are desperate to find new homes. Spays will be included in their adoption fee. They are house trained, but need some leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. If you are interested in meeting this girl please fill out an adoption application and we'll get you connected to her as soon as you are approved. Or, if you are even willing to foster them while they are looking for a new home that would be great too! Their adoption fee will be $250 which as was mentioned included their spays. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.April 29, 2026, 3:11 pm

Story
Honeybear is a big teddy bear! She's around 65 lbs and about 9 years young! She is very energetic and enjoys playing with toys.Honeybear is also a chill, sweetie pie. She’s curious, playful, always happy to see us and likes to follow us around. The moment you meet her, you realize how sweet, and gentle she is.We haven't seen any separation anxiety issues. She really seems to enjoy car rides and naps calmly in our backseat. She understands Sit and Stay commands with some repeating. She’s been completely non-reactive to our 9 yo small 'princess' pup who's a bit grumpy! She hasn’t shown any signs of being food possessive. She is know to chase cats. She has not met any kids while we've had her, but she doesn't mind us actively touching her paws, head and body while eating. We also were told that she has been fine around a 6 yr old child. We took over care for this sweet girl from someone who no longer could - but our place is much too small to keep another larger dog alongside our dog and two kitties. Honeybear deserves to be in a bigger place of her own with space to run around and somebody to love!We told by her previous owner that Honeybear has had a few seizures. We will have her evaluated when she is spayed. She is looking for her special person...Her adoption donation is only $100That will include her upcoming spay, microchip and vaccination. Please go to sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.April 29, 2026, 3:11 pm

Maddie is a 12 year old boxer mix. She loves long walks and sitting next to you on the couch. She has most experience with smaller dogs. She loves carrots and green beans and knows a few tricks. Maddie is a lovely dog who we would keep if we didn’t already have 2 dogs and a cat.

Story
He is about 9 years old. Boxer energy outside, under the blankets like a pitbull when he's inside I had to save him from my ex who was abusive to both of us and have had a hard time rehoming him, I have a very tiny apartment and he really needs a large yard to run and go potty. While he is potty trained, he has been marking a spot in my home cus I know he's frustrated. As for other dogs, he wasn't socialized well and comes off aggressive but he just wants to play so bad, older kids are better just cus he doesn't know his own strength. He lives with a cat, so if you have one and they run he thinks it's okay time. He has so much potential to be a smart and good boy he just needs someone with patience and time. I can't afford a lot so I feel bad I can't do more for him. I'm also willing to dog sit for free anytime. If he doesn't work out in your home I'm willing to take him back. Adoption fee negotiable just want him to go to a safe and good home

Story
Georgia Mae was adopted by our Rescue 5 years ago. Her parents divorced, then the mom gave Georgia to her brother in Arizona. He "lost her" then she ended up on the street a good samaritan found her, found out through micro chip that she was one of our dogs. She is now back at the rescue looking for her new family. She is a WONDERFUL DOG! She just wants to hang with her person. She has been coming over and spending nites with me, she does not get into anything, she gets along with my dog (pictured on here with her) and is fine with the other "littles" we have here. Also, she's not a barker! She talks tho :) TEXT Amy 360.513.8887 for more information/meet and greet.
