We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. This Dakota, we got him when he was just a puppy back in 2021. He is potty trained but does require attention but is more of the time pretty much lazy! He is about 4 years old already and sleeps most of the day. Unfortunately we do have to let someone adopt or rehome him and our girl boxer. As we are moving from Portland OR to Texas and unfortunately we do not have a home down there yet so we have no family nor friends to take care of our dogs. As we are expecting a new baby into our family along with our 2 year old who does require our attention majority of the time.

LUNA is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. We found a home for several of the pups but this little cutie and one of her sisters are desperate to find new homes. Spays will be included in their adoption fee. They are house trained, but need some leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. Henry is five years old very affectionate dog. He loves women really likes female dogs. He is going to be greatly missed, but unfortunately I'm not able to bring him to where I'm moving to for a new job. He is a loyal dog loves going for walks and loves attention.

Maddie is a 12 year old boxer mix. She loves long walks and sitting next to you on the couch. She has most experience with smaller dogs. She loves carrots and green beans and knows a few tricks. Maddie is a lovely dog who we would keep if we didn’t already have 2 dogs and a cat.

Reba is an incredibly sweet and gentle puppy with a soft, loving personality that makes people fall for her very quickly. She has a calmer and more tender way about her while still enjoying all the normal puppy fun like playing, exploring, and spending time with the other dogs. She carries herself with a very affectionate, comforting energy and seems to genuinely enjoy being close to people. She is the kind of puppy who forms strong emotional connections and enjoys quiet affection just as much as playtime. Reba loves being loved on, and once she feels safe and comfortable, she relaxes beautifully into her environment. She has a very warm and gentle presence that would fit wonderfully into a family looking for a loving companion to grow alongside them. Georgia Mae was adopted by our Rescue 5 years ago. Her parents divorced, then the mom gave Georgia to her brother in Arizona. He "lost her" then she ended up on the street a good samaritan found her, found out through micro chip that she was one of our dogs. She is now back at the rescue looking for her new family. She is a WONDERFUL DOG! She just wants to hang with her person. She has been coming over and spending nites with me, she does not get into anything, she gets along with my dog (pictured on here with her) and is fine with the other "littles" we have here.
