She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. LUNA is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. We found a home for several of the pups but this little cutie and one of her sisters are desperate to find new homes. Spays will be included in their adoption fee. They are house trained, but need some leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. Maddie is a 12 year old boxer mix. She loves long walks and sitting next to you on the couch. She has most experience with smaller dogs. She loves carrots and green beans and knows a few tricks. Maddie is a lovely dog who we would keep if we didn’t already have 2 dogs and a cat.

Buddy is a bright, energetic puppy with a huge love for life. He wakes up ready for adventure and spends his days exploring, playing, checking things out, and finding ways to be involved in whatever is happening around him. He is incredibly curious and always interested in his surroundings, which makes everyday life with him feel fun, active, and full of personality. Georgia Mae was adopted by our Rescue 5 years ago. Her parents divorced, then the mom gave Georgia to her brother in Arizona. He "lost her" then she ended up on the street a good samaritan found her, found out through micro chip that she was one of our dogs. She is now back at the rescue looking for her new family. She is a WONDERFUL DOG! She just wants to hang with her person. She has been coming over and spending nites with me, she does not get into anything, she gets along with my dog (pictured on here with her) and is fine with the other "littles" we have here. This is my best friend Bodhi. Unfortunately, Bodhi is having some aggression issues that are beyond my cope of knowledge. I’ve sent him to specialist, but nothing seems to have helped. He’s very very sweet and loving with his people, I want him to have the best quality of life. He has bitten a few people, he’s also not big on kids. I truly think with the correct training & attention he could be someone else’s best friend. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or want to meet him.
