What our friends at OHS say about us:We are a bonded pair, so we must go home together. We are best friends 'til the end, brothers from other mothers, so we plan to be together for the rest of our days. Our adoption fee includes both of us, meaning you are saving money out of the gate. Now that is sound economics, son!Hi, I'm Zorro and I'm sable and white. I'm 10 y.o. and am a neutered male.I will cheer you on while you go be productive... from right here in my cozy bed.Give me treats and pets and you will be my new favorite person.New things are a little scary to me, but I all I need is time and someone to show me it's okay.Shy and Nervous: I can be anxious in a new place, but I warm up fast with Lefty by my side.Hi, I'm Lefty and am tan and white. I am 8 y.o. and am a neutered male.I'm adorable and amazing, so it's a win win!I am a full time love-bug and part time cuddle-bug.I am a social butterfly in the shape of an adorable dog.All I need is a soft warm place to lay and to be told I am the goodest boy.Want help meeting new people and making friends? ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Story
Martha is a sweet 4 year old Boxer Staffy mix!! She loves her humans and loves to run around and cuddle. It is a very hard decision to re home Martha. She is a loyal companion and loves the people around her. The reason we are re homing her is she is super dog reactive. She has never bit a human however the aggression she shows to other dogs makes us nervous with her being around our little kids. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. So far Martha has been wonderful with them, but she is super other dog aggressive. Martha would be the perfect dog for a family without any other pets and older kids (8 and up). She is totally house broken. She can be left for 8 plus hours without accidents. She will spend all day outside if you let her. She loves her crate and sleeps in there. She is a wonderful good girl. She just needs a home without little kids.

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them: He is excited to wake up for morning snuggles and often wiggles himself into our bed first thing. He is great company during the day and rotates between entertaining himself, napping and may occasionally make a public appearance on his foster dad's work calls. His favorite outdoor activities include a car or boat ride, a bucket of balls, warm weather and unlimited fetch. He's also been known to make a pillow fort or two before settling in for bedtime. It's recommended I meet any kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need to be the only pet. I'm not comfortable sharing my space or my stuff with other animals. I prefer to be the center of attention! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: White Weight: 50 Age: 7yrs 4mths 2wks

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I'd like a relaxed home. I wouldn't say I'm "old"... I've just been around for a while. And that's made me appreciate the finer things in life like naps in the sun, looking out windows, and the special joy when you're able to scratch juuuuust the right spot. I like to take it easy at home - I'm not up for lots of activity. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.
