PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.7/9/24 STILL AVAILABLE! 6/3/24 AkiraI'm a little late welcoming Akira to rescue because she's actually been with us for a little while. I finally got to meet her today and what a pleasant surprise! Photos do nothing to show how adorable and tiny she is. She is maybe 20 lbs. See the photo of her with the cat- shes not much bigger than him. Akira was dumped near tractor supply in Benton, AR a while back. She ran around the area, evading people for months. She was just scared to death. But one of our awesome volunteers was able to trap her a few weeks back. After she got past the initial fear of being trapped, she just gave in. And now her personality is really shining! This tiny girl is so friendly and sweet! Good with other dogs, good with kids but gets a little nervous with the toddler who visits, so older kids would probably be best. Great with cats as well! At about 2 years old, she is done growing and is about 20 bs. She is now fully vetted and heartworm negative.Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
Buddy is the happiest, friendliest, cuddliest guy you'll find anywhere around. He ended up in a local shelter and was running out of time, but thanks to some tireless networking, Buddy ended up in our care. He's a compact guy, weighing in at 46 pounds, and already knows basic commands like sit and paw. He is crate and house trained. Buddy loves other dogs, cats, and kids. He would be a wonderful companion to someone who enjoys being outside for walks and hikes. Buddy has gotten the all-clear at the vet, is ready to travel, and would love to find his forever family very soon. If you're interested in welcoming me or any of my delightful Funny Farm companions into your home, kindly visit ffpets.org. There, you can find information about our Tennessee-based rescue, and gain insights into the adoption process! Buddy's adoption fee is $325, with an additional $200 required for northern transportation if needed. Local transportation can be provided at no cost within 100 miles of Jackson, TN. Please note that at the moment, this adorable pet is in the care of a foster home in Tennessee but will be lovingly transported to your location once the adoption process is successfully completed. For details on meeting locations and transport arrangements, simply click on the "Transport" tab at ffpets.org. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly review all transport-related information before submitting your adoption application.

Story
"Melody is a lovely girl with lots of love to give. She is friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, smart, curious, funny, athletic and quiet all in one! She is a very dignified dog but can be a bit of a couch potato too, and she definitely loves her doggie kisses. Melody is a lovely, unique girl and I'm sure she will bring lots of joy to her new owners. She came into rescue with her 4 babies and was a wonderful mom. She just completed heartworm treatment and is a happy girl. She gets along with other dogs but would love to be the only dog in the home so that she can receive all the love and attention from her new family. She is a very special girl and all she needs if to find the right home." Melody is two and a half years old, weighs 52#, is spayed, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is 400.00

Story
Have you heard of the saying “Good things come to those who wait”? Well, I have and I know someone has been waiting for “ME”, and I for them! I know the wait will be well worth it for the both of us! I’m Otto, a 1 year old boy weighing about 60# (but may fill out yet), with beautiful CHOCOLATE facial marking to highlight my personality filled face, and another spot on my “Rump”!! Being 1 of “7” in a litter turned into a shelter, we were lonely, lost and afraid. Fortunately, we were all scooped up by “Molly’s Place Rescue”. My 2 brothers and I are still waiting for a home. Our “4” sisters were adopted, but as you know, Male dogs are the Best! No, really! They don’t call female dogs “Bitches” without reason!! HA! HA! Just kidding, my sisters were OK, for girls! Anyway, I’m really a goofy, fun-loving, well-behaved boy said to have a FANTASTIC Temperament, and a real HAM! I’m good with all adults, kids, love other dogs AND EVEN CATS!!! REALLY!!!! Yes, I’m bragging about myself! Initially I’m shy, but warm up quick once feeling safe. Yep, I have it all. Thought to be a Boxers and Border Terriers mix, I’ve inherited the best of both very intelligent breeds. They are also known for being very people oriented, affectionate and great family pets. We LOVE OUR PEOPLE! Otto is German in origan, meaning “Wealth and Fortune”! I have a “Wealth” of love to give and it would be “My Fortune” to have you as my owner! So come on and Let’s share some time! Otto is waiting for YOU! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 25, 2024, 5:26 pm
