We brought him to our shelter for one reason: to give him the fresh start he deserves! Lyles is a gorgeous brindle boy who is EXTREMELY dog friendly—seriously, he’s a social superstar with other pups! While he’s a little slow to trust humans at first, he’s a `slow burn` worth waiting for. Once you win him over with head scratches, he’ll be your shadow. He’s already potty trained, obedient, and has perfect leash skills. He just needs a yard to play in and a couch to share. Let’s make sure this is the last shelter he ever sees.

His gentle heart and playful spirit make him a wonderful companion. However I would like to clarify that Santos is not an outdoor dog. We are from SC and currently in Texas working. Phoenix is used to staying outside and having a yard back home which is where he is happiest. Right now we are in an RV and it’s just not ideal for him. Since being here he has been attacked by a Doberman and it’s made his anxiety horrible. We just don’t have the time to spend with him and he’s miserable in a kennel all day. He needs a place to run and someone who has more time with him. Somewhere he can be outside and someone who has time to spend with him. I have his kennel and almost a years worth of his flea, tic and heart worm preventive that comes with him. His birthday is 3-14 and he will be 7 years old.
