Goose was born in an animal shelter, and lived there for the first 7 months of his life. Goose is a very friendly and cuddly dog who loves to run. He is good with other dogs that he has a proper introduction to, and loves to play with them. He does have a rougher playing style, so he does best playing with a dog close to his size. He is good with children, and has not been tested around cats, but we believe because of his sweet demeanor he would be fine with a cat. Goose would do best in a home with a yard where he can run and expend his energy. He would also be best in a home with older children. He has never shown any signs of aggression towards people.

Gus is an adorable and affectionate Boxer mix who is eager to find his forever home.  He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him!   He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!!   He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin.  We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less.  He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar.  It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.'  He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return.  He's playful, but will chill with you on the couch, too ! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Delaney, This beautiful white boxer girl is as sweet as she looks!  Delaney is a snuggly, affectionate sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up close to her people.  She's potty trained, kenneled trained, and knows a few great manners like come, sit, and kennel.  She's also very food motivated - delicious treats are the key to her heart! Delaney has a few fun quirks that make her extra special.  When she finishes her meal, she lets everyone know by flipping her bowl over - her charming way of saying "all done!"  She isn't a big fan of the cold weather so a cozy blanket or a warm sweater makes her extra happy.  She gives the best boxer hugs and kisses, and she pulls a bit when she's excited, but her foster plans to try to harness to help her feel more comfortable and confident on walks.  She's also a total champ about taking her meds, especially when they're wrapped in a delicious treat. If you are looking for a loving companion who will shower you with affection and keep you smiling with her adorable habits, Delaney might just be your perfect match.   We transport our dogs up North and out of Texas. We use trusted transport partners to safely deliver them to their families. Please contact Houston Boxer Rescue(HBR) regarding the transport fee for our dogs.
