These sisters are short haired kitties and need a home due to their owner’s divorce. They are currently living in San Jose, Ca. Both were saved and bottle fed as kittens, neutered but not up to date on shots. They are indoor only cats and litter box trained. They are very friendly and sleep together. Online Adoption Application › She is best as an only cat with experienced homeMy gosh isnt' she pretty, she knows it but is no Prima Donna either.  Yes October is a character enjoys being petted, and brushed gently, and playing some.  She is people-oriented and is a great companion cat for a single person or quiet home, as is common with calicos. She greets in the morning and loves some petting then and hangs out with you in the evening.  She has no bad vices, and is very sweet, though does't like to be held or carried all over the house. So in this particular case, this beautiful calico is looking for a new home who understands not all cats want attention all the time, and can read body language.  This is why we suspect she will be best in a quiet home without a bunch of little kids taunting her.  And she is a great candidate as a companion cat to someone just wanting a feline in the home. Online Adoption Application › Kitty with SpiritSanrikki lived on the streets long enough to lose one of her nine lives and her left front leg. Her caregiver was not able to manage Rikki indoors so she came to 13th Street Cat Rescue. Over time and with lots of attention Rikki's social skills improved. She is now ready for a forever home and that special person who knows cats. Sanrikki acts younger than her estimated age; more like a 4 year old. She's got lots of spunk. She absolutely loves being brushed and will plop down and roll over for you to brush and brush. While mostly quiet and independent, Rikki enjoys interactive play with wand toys. Her foster parent never sees her playing with mice or balls but they are found moved throughout the room in the morning. Rikki loves a fresh catnip toy after meals. :) Cat experience is required.
