Story
Meet Karaoke, the ultimate bundle of high-energy fun! This playful little dynamo absolutely loves wand toys and can jump and play for hours on end. With a personality that thrives in active homes, Karaoke might be the perfect fit for a lively family or people who like playing with kitties. While she doesn’t always ask for attention, if you initiate playtime, she’s all in, ready to pounce and entertain. Karaoke likes to be held for a bit, but once she’s ready, she’ll wriggle free to get back to what she loves most—playing! She's nonstop fun and will bring endless joy to a household that can match her energy. Karaoke also has an adorable habit of curling up for naps on top of a large stuffed dinosaur, adding even more charm to her playful personality. If you're looking for an active, fun-loving kitten who also knows how to relax in style, Karaoke is the one for you! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet this cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptNovember 11, 2025, 11:35 am

Story
Meet Daisykins, a playful, intelligent, and quirky kitten with a big personality. She’s an independent girl who enjoys affection on her own terms—when she wants attention, she’ll hop into your lap and keep you company, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself. She especially loves toys she can wrestle, tunnels to run through, and the thrill of batting toys around in the bathtub. Her favorite is a snake-like stuffed toy she can wrestle and kick. Daisykins is incredibly smart—she even learned how to play a toy piano to dispense treats! She’s curious, adventurous, and will follow you from room to room, though she also values her independence. At night, she’ll sleep outside your bedroom door, waiting to dash inside to greet you in the morning. Because she tends to overstimulate and can be rough with her claws, Daisykins needs a patient adopter who understands that she is not a good fit for a home with children. She doesn’t like being picked up or petted for long, and she may scratch if pushed past her comfort zone. With time, consistency, and understanding, she has the potential to settle more as she matures. She’s shy around new people, dogs, and loud noises, so a calm, cat-savvy household would suit her best. She’s open to wearing a harness but needs very quiet environments if she’s to explore safely. Daisykins will thrive with someone patient enough to respect her independence while appreciating her playful energy and intelligence. She’s best for an experienced cat person who doesn’t mind a feisty, spirited companion with lots of love to give—on her own terms. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptNovember 11, 2025, 6:58 pm

Story
Pink has been part of our family for the past 2.5 years. She’s truly independent and prefers to do her own thing. She doesn’t like to be held…unless she climbs on you. Truly loving, in her own way. She brave and makes friends easily with our other cat and dog. She loves snuggling with her dog sister. She eats kibble, uses the litter box every time, and doesn’t need fancy toys. We’d love to find her a loving home. Unfortunately my allergies are growing worst and it’s not realistic for me to keep our pets at my home at this moment. Thanks for looking. - Curtis

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Emmie was rescued during a heavy storm in which she found herself trapped under a neighbor's solar panels after hiding from the rains and wind. After only a minute of cajoling she worked her way free and immediately came up for snuggles.   Emmie was in heat and had already had a litter of kittens at her young age. We took her in, gave her warmth, and got her spayed and vaccinated. Since then, she has totally adapted to being an indoor cat and spends her time in the home office keeping her fosters entertained.   At this point, Emmie is very focused on her need to play - as much as possible! She has her favorite interactive toys and is also learning to self-play. Recently, she has started to appreciate other aspects of life, such as pets, ear rubs, and a warm human body to sleep against at night. She appreciates humans more each day and we are confident this quality will continue to grow.   Emmie communicates by cute chirps and squeaks - and direct eye contact telling you what she needs. She has perfect litter box habits, a lovely purr, and consistently uses her scratching post.                   Emmie was rescued during a heavy storm in which she found herself trapped under a neighbor's solar panels after hiding from the rains and wind. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. See information about whom to contact in bio THANK YOU Lucy and her siblings, Frodo and Peter are very sweet kittens. They have been indoors since birth and have daily playtime with their foster family. If there’s one thing Lucy loves, it’s attention. She may not be super vocal about it, but she will go up to you and place herself in your lap or under your hand. Give her lots of pets and scratches and she’ll love you forever. She will gladly spend time sitting in your lap or being carried around in your arms. If you’re sweet about it, she will also gladly accept your kisses. Cuddle time with her siblings? Lucy adores it! She’ll go find one to cuddle when she’s ready to relax. Lucy may be a little lady who loves to stay clean, but she can handle herself in a wrestling match with her brothers. She spends her playtimes both wrestling with her brothers and using her favorite toys. Running after jingly little ball toys, and jumping up to catch swinging wands are her favorite. Story
Bindi is a sweet girl with a beautiful gray marble tabby and white coat. She was rescued with her sisters from under a freeway overpass. Bindi is shy around new people at first, so she would do best with someone who is experienced with cat body language and behavior. Once she's comfortable and settled in she's a real love bug. She likes to play with toys and be pet, but prefers not to be picked up. She is laid back and would do well in a quiet home with no children, and someone who will give her a lot of love. She would also do best as an only cat. Bindi loves the catio her foster mom built! This allows her to enjoy the outdoors safely, while inside a large, enclosed area. s to be pet and play with toys. She's not outgoing with strangers. Once she's comfortable, she's mellow and likes to lay around a lot. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped. This cat is being cared for by a member of the community.  To arrange to meet this cat or find out more, email us at courtesy@thedancingcat.org.  November 6, 2024, 10:11 am
