Story
I work at an Emergency Animal hospital and this is one of the kittens trapped from someone's backyard at 2 months old. I agreed to foster until we found her a home. I am allergic to cats, but okay with allergy medication. I can not keep her long term due to my allergies. She needs an advance cat owner. She is a 6 month old kitten, and as kittens they love to eat everything, and bite everything. The house MUST be child proof for this kitten, she can open cupboards, drink water out of the bathroom, chew on wires and open any kind of food bags. She is a sweetie otherwise and very very cute. She loves food, so she most likely can be treat trained. She is ready for a home anytime, although she has a spay appointment set on April 23rd, 2024. Thank you for reading about this beautiful Noodle.

Story
Jasmine is a wonderful senior cat in excellent health (15yrs old). She came to us after her owner, our neighbor passed in January. Jasmine is happy to sleep most of the day, quietly active in late am and dinner hour. She is a sweet and affectionate girl that expresses gratitude and reciprocal tenderness with our family. Approximate to people, but not in the midst of activity is her sweet spot. Jasmines challenge in our home is she likes to the only cat near the activity and blocks our other cat from socializing. She is an extremely tidy cat using the scratching post and litter box consistently. We would love to find her a home where she can be the sole love of her household. All immunizations are up to date with an excellent bill of health. Her nails have been maintained “trimmed”.

Story
Hi! I'm Speckles! I was rescued at San Francisco Animal Care & Control. I’m a gorgeous Calico with Tortoiseshell patterned fur and a bit of Tortie cattitude to match. I'm shy at first and maybe even a little sassy but really I’m just a quirky little lovebug in the rough. Once I warm up, I’m very sweet and love receiving pets and massages. I’ll happily announce when it’s time for pets, armpit scritches, and tummy rubs. And if you really want to pamper me, I love being brushed because not only does it feel fabulous, but it also helps my gorgeous fur look its best. I’m not quite a lap cat yet but my foster human thinks it will happen one day. I’m all about receiving pets and being worshipped but I do remove my crown now and then to reveal my playful side. I love peacock feathers because they sort of hypnotize me while making me feel at ease right before I attack them… muahahah!! But if you really want to see me let loose, just toss a few treats and my rambunctious and cartoonish character will be on full display. My foster human is training me to “sit” on command and jump through hoops and yes, I’ll do it for her sometimes but not all of the time because I need to make sure she knows I’m the boss… hee hee. I think I would enjoy having a kitty furiend around who has a calm and quiet purrsonality but as long as I receive lots of love from my human and have lots of windows to look outside, I’ll be a happy kitty. I’m on the hunt for a patient and cat savvy human who speaks my language, will appreciate my silly and occasionally sassy purrsonality, and will join me on my journey towards becoming more comfortable and confident. You can see more of me here @missspreckles. Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1714186938&src=aap]

Please contact Angela (takeakittenhome@gmail.com), (510) 909-6737 for more information about this pet.Marzi is an approximately 1yr old domesticated female that gave birth to 3 male kittens in early April 2023.   She is ready to start her new life! First of all, her coloring is equisite. She’s a beauty. She will take longer to adjust to her new environment than a kitten, for example, but she is friendly and well-mannered. I think she will blossom before your eyes. Marzi is to be an indoor cat. She can tolerate a vacuum right next to her!   Please call Angela Moore at 510-909-6737 for more information as well as a meet and greet!April 26, 2024, 5:04 pm

She has a kind, calm, and sweet demeanor.  Mama and her two sons were dumped and showed up in a backyard. Thankfully, the owner was willing to foster this beautiful family and give them tons of love. Mama loves her sons dearly, still grooms and snuggles with them at night.  Mama's sons, Besha (black and white tux) and Pesha (black), are two sweet and mellow guys. They are friendly and social. The rescuer has attended to this family with kindness and love. She is looking for a savior that would take the entire family. However, Mama can be adopted separately, and the bonded brothers can be adopted as a pair.  CC4C Contact: kericksonttt@yahoo.com or 925-408-5249 Foster: Sonia Cat ID: 273-xx-23 DOB 7/10/23Click here to watch a video of Mama.April 26, 2024, 5:04 pm

Story
Joe (male, orange/white) and Jolly (female, grey/white) were part of a litter of 6 kittens.    They are a sweet pair of kittens who love attention and will jump into your lap, giving you endless joy.  These siblings love to play with one another and, of course, with all types of toys. They are about six months old.   Their mom, Kate, is a calico and is estimated to be about 3 years old. She is a beautiful cat with gorgeous markings and bright, colorful eyes. She has a lot of love to give any human. She’s been a wonderful mom to her six kittens.   If you’re looking for a pair, perhaps adopt mom and one of her kittens or the two kittens together. They would love to be adopted together.    If you’re looking for some pretty incredible and beautiful cats, please email Suzi at suziharris67@yahoo.com or 925-708-6967.  I will send you an application once we have a chance to talk. Story
Are you (or your cat) in search of a sweet, laid-back lounging partner? Vera is your girl!    Her idea of an excellent day involves hanging out in her cat bed, meals, and treats, of course! She also loves pets, and while she’ll entertain you with the occasional bout of zoomies, this mellow gal gets most of her exercise by walking to her food bowl. Give her a little pat while she’s eating her breakfast and she’ll be happy for the rest of the day!    Vera is a striking tuxedo cat with a black face and white lightning bolt, along with extravagant white whiskers. While Vera’s looks may be dramatic, she’s actually super easy going, and can even be shy in new situations. Vera may hide while she’s building her confidence, but she can be inspired to venture out with the promise of friendship from another cat. Her foster guardian says she’s great with other cats and might make a wonderful companion to another senior cat. Cuddle puddle, anyone?    Vera is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !   Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Prefers a calm adult-only home, but may be okay with older kids and teens.  May prefer a home with other cat/s April 25, 2024, 3:56 pm

Story
Meet Blackberry, a sweet, shy cat who will warm your heart like a freshly baked muffin!   Despite her shyness, Blackberry is a very loving cat. As she’s gotten more confident in her foster home, Blackberry has learned to love head and ear scratches and will flop over on the floor to fully enjoy them, exposing her cute little belly. She’s cautious with new people at first, but her natural curiosity almost always wins over—especially if treats are involved! It may take her some time to adjust to a new home, so she needs a patient adopter who is willing to allow her time to get comfortable in a new space. Blackberry has excellent litter box habits and is a very good eater, though she can be demanding for food at times.   Blackberry is also very energetic and loves to bat around a fuzzy mouse toy on her own. She hasn’t gotten used to handheld wand toys and strings yet, and loud noises can cause her to startle. After playtime, she’ll curl up for a quality napping session nearby. She likes to sleep near where people are and will also often seek out a cozy spot to curl up near her foster, like at the edge of the bed or in the corner of the sofa. Close enough to keep an eye on things!   With some patience and love, Blackberry is sure to become your new best friend. If you’re looking for a cat who will fill your heart and your home with love like a slice of blackberry pie, Blackberry is the perfect choice. She’s simply irresistible!    Blackberry is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you’re interested in setting up a meeting with Blackberry, or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form!   Best Match:  Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with cat savvy older kids and teens Prefers a quiet home April 25, 2024, 3:56 pm

Story
Cutie Kichona is always ready to play. Get out the wand toys and she will entertain you by stalking, scrambling, and jumping after them. A toy mouse tossed down the hall will send her running and a bit of tissue paper provides loads of fun. If she pauses for a drink, you’ll be amused by the cute way she scoops the water from her bowl with a paw. Mid-game, she might roll on her back and give you a glimpse of her belly. Play is clearly the way to this shy cat’s heart.   When playtime is over, Kichona prefers to keep a bit of distance. She enjoys chin scratches, but is less enthusiastic about pets on her back. She may not be a lap cat yet, but she does like to be near her person. She has synced to her foster’s daily schedule and sleeps at the end of her bed. If you’re working from home, Kichona might hang out on your desk and ask for occasional pets. She’ll even meet you at the door when you come home.   Kichona approaches new people and situations with caution and may need some time to feel comfortable in a new home. Patience and plenty of playtime will be a winning combination as you get to know each other. Once you earn Kichona’s trust, you’ll have a sweet companion who brings plenty of fun into your life.   Kichona is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form !    Best Match: Seeking an adopter with cat experience Will be most comfortable in a quiet home with kids 12+ May be okay with other cats April 25, 2024, 3:56 pm
