Story
It brings me great sadness to be doing this but we would love to find a new forever home for our lovely kitten Miso! We acquired her a little more than a week ago from a friend and she is a 6-8 month old Calico kitten. For those that are interested in her, if you are a first time pet/cat owner she would be a wonderful fit as she loves people and will always come to greet you and ask you for lots of loving! If you own another pet/cat and are looking into adding another member to your furry family, I would definitely recommend an owner that has space that can be allocated solely for her to be comfortable in as well as the time, resources, experience, and patience to be able to get Miso along with your pet(s). While at first she may be shy and timid, Miso is very quick to warm up to people and adventure around her space.

Story
Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 13 year old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I like sleeping on a human’s bed. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I'm learning that getting people pets are great and I'm starting to ask for them more and more. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl, but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household. Fill out our Adoption Application and meet this special girl in person.

Story
Maya was found abandoned at the end of a driveway in Half Moon Bay. She was in a carrier with another cat, 2 beds and bowls but no other information. Maya is about 6 years old and healthy but needed a dental which she came through like a champ! Maya's fur coloring is really unique. One side and her head and tail are beautifully colored in browns, oranges and black. Her other side is pure white. It is as if she was born before the powers that be were finished painting the other half of her body. Maya loves attention. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does like to get petted and holds up her end of a conversation. She loves to garner all the attention so it would be best if Maya was an only kitty in her home. Is your family looking for a beautiful blue-eyed princess to be a companion for your family? Maya is waiting for you. Please note: Maya would do best as an only childIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1716879692&src=aap]

Story
Daisy is an 8 month old kitten that was part of a litter born in my backyard (her sisters Disco and Boots are also available for adoption). Daisy is timid around new people and new environments, but once she calms down she blossoms into a very playful and sweet girl. She loves playing with her sisters and taking care of them. Her favorite things in the world are playing with a feather-on-a-stick toy and laying in a cat hammock. Once she trusts you, she also love getting pet. I'm looking for a special, patient person with a loving heart to give Daisy a quiet and calm life. Unfortunately I already have two cats of my own, otherwise I would keep her and her sisters. Daisy is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Story
Hiya! They call me Pootsie! I am a 2 year old, large size, spayed female, and I'm looking for my fur-ever home! I'm a fun and frisky kitty that loves playtime, chatting, and nibbling on tasty treats! I would love to find a home where I can be the center of attention. My ideal family would be with someone who is familiar with active and opinionated cats like me. I would do best with adults or teens in my new home, and as the only cat, as I tend to get overstimulated which means that sometimes I just want some alone time. I love to play with toys and will jump at the chance to chase a feather wand. If you are looking for a feline companion who will keep you entertained- perhaps I'm the gal for you? Ask for me by name! Story
Hi there!  My name is Zelda and I'm a 1 and a half year old, spayed, Domestic short hair cat. I'm a gentle little sweetheart who can be on the shy side, but I love being pet! I'd do best in an adult only home or one with older kids. I will roll around and purrr to show you I'm happy. Once I'm comfortable, I enjoy playing with toys! For more information, just ask Customer Service about Zelda!  ID# A944857 This cat tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  He/she otherwise appears to be in excellent health.  Cats with FIV can usually live for many years with no medical problems.  Usually at some point however the virus will start to affect them.  The most common thing that happens is that they get sicker than a normal cat would when they get a cold or other condition.  FIV is transmitted almost exclusively via bite wounds. For this reason we recommend that this cat should be an only cat and not be allowed outdoors.  New owner should be prepared to have expenses relating to veterinary care in the future. Please ask to speak with a PHS Veterinarian to learn more about this cat and FIV.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Story
Hiya, my name is Mickey! I am a 5 year old, large size, domestic short hair, neutered male. I am a very friendly and affectionate boy who will headbutt you for love and attention! I do get overstimulated sometimes and will let you know when I need  to have a break. Because of that, I would do best in a home with adults only. I have a condition called FIV, so I will need to be indoors only, and either the only cat or with other FIV+ cats only. I am outgoing, curious, and talkative; so prepare for some late night conversations with me! If you're looking for a fun and sweet kitty, I'm your guy!
