Story
Penelope (you can call her Penny) is one of those special senior kitties who exudes poise, wisdom, and confidence. Her poise comes from knowing that her gorgeous calico markings and bright green eyes make her the most beautiful creature in any room. Penny’s wisdom comes from 16 years of observing and managing hoomans, knowing exactly how to make us do her bidding. Her confidence comes from knowing that the sunniest spot in the house is always reserved for her. She will bask there for hours — it’s why we call her the Sun Princess. She’s still plenty frisky, too! Penny will bound to the top of a cat tree. When she finds her favorite mouse toy, she carries it around proudly, meowing her triumph. Penny is looking for an experienced and quiet cat home, where she can be worshiped as the only kitty. Story
Hiyee! I'm Cabana from the Summer Themed kitty crew! I’m a pretty little dilute tabbico kitten and the boldest little adventurer of my litter! While I may be the smallest kitten in the group, I definitely make up for it with confidence, curiosity, and nonstop exploration. New toy? I’ll inspect it first. Mysterious sound? Already investigating. Tall cat tree? I’m halfway up it before anyone notices. I’ve been raised around people since I was teeny tiny, so I’m extremely social and comfortable being handled, cuddled, and doted on. I love to play, but I’m also incredibly affectionate once I finally tire myself out. I’m the kind of kitten who turns ordinary moments into entertainment just by existing. My foster family says I have “main character energy,” and honestly… they may be right. I’m brave, hilarious, endlessly curious, and always looking for my next adventure. If your home could use a little extra sunshine and chaos in the cutest possible form, I’m ready to move in with you and one of my siblings! (Because, 2 kittens are better than one!)  MUST FOLLOW APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the cat's profile you are interested in. Clicking adopt does not mean that you are adopting this cat. It will take you to an application to fill out which is the first step of the adoption process.  2) If your application is approved, you will receive a call back within 2-3 days with an appointment time slot. We do our best to match the cat to the best environment/family/situation as possible based on the cat's personality and temperament. We cannot call back every applicant with an update. You will receive a call if your application is selected. Thank you for your understanding.  To ensure our team can focus on their care and lifesaving work, we kindly ask that you refrain from calling or messaging for status updates.  Because we receive a high volume of applications, we are only able to contact those who are selected for the next steps and will not respond to every inquiry. Thank you for understanding and patience.  ##2702466##

Story
Two bonded cats Mj(F) and Jet(M) who have both been together since birth. they're both loving pets who come to you and loved to be pet, love to roll around and play fetch with their sushi toys. Unfortunately my aunt passed away and this was so unexpected, I rent a room or else I would keep them both to honor my aunt but I sadly cannot. I would love to find them a home they can both go to since they are bonded. they are always together and when one would sneakily play hide and seek the other would meow looking for them. they are a unique duo and brought so much joy to my aunts life. they are from what I know to be about 5 years old, very mellow but also love to play if enticed with a kitten toy or fishing rod. they are indoor cats but they used to use a doggy door to go outside and use the litter box which was pretty cool

Story
Meet Daisykins, a playful, intelligent, and quirky kitten with a big personality. She’s an independent girl who enjoys affection on her own terms—when she wants attention, she’ll hop into your lap and keep you company, but she’s also perfectly happy entertaining herself. She especially loves toys she can wrestle, tunnels to run through, and the thrill of batting toys around in the bathtub. Her favorite is a snake-like stuffed toy she can wrestle and kick. Daisykins is incredibly smart—she even learned how to play a toy piano to dispense treats! She’s curious, adventurous, and will follow you from room to room, though she also values her independence. Because she tends to overstimulate and can be rough with her claws, Daisykins needs a patient adopter who understands that she is not a good fit for a home with children. She doesn’t like being picked up or petted for long, and she may scratch if pushed past her comfort zone. With time, consistency, and understanding, she has the potential to settle more as she matures. She’s shy around new people, dogs, and loud noises, so a calm, cat-savvy household would suit her best. She’s open to wearing a harness but needs very quiet environments if she’s to explore safely. Daisykins will thrive with someone patient enough to respect her independence while appreciating her playful energy and intelligence. She’s best for an experienced cat person who doesn’t mind a feisty, spirited companion with lots of love to give—on her own terms. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptMarch 13, 2026, 12:42 am

Angel Pie (calico) and Raider (black & white) are a sweet, bonded pair of sisters who have been together since the very beginning—and they’re ready to bring that love into a new home. These short-haired beauties were rescued and bottle-fed as kittens, and it shows in how affectionate and people-oriented they are. Both girls are incredibly friendly, easy to handle, and love being picked up, petted, and showered with attention. They even sleep curled up together—these two are truly inseparable. Angel Pie and Raider are indoor-only, litter trained, spayed, flea-free, and in good health. They’ve lived happily with children, other cats, and dogs, and would likely adjust well to a variety of loving homes. After growing up side by side, they’re hoping to stay together—and find a family who will love them both. If you’re ready for twice the companionship, purrs, and affection, Angel Pie and Raider are waiting to meet you Please contact Sonja @ 408-712-0158 to discuss a meet up and possible adoption.   THIS animal listing is a COURTESY LISTING - not a 13th St Cat Rescue animal. Story
Fremont must have strayed from his home or been abandoned, maybe left behind when his family moved away. This kitty is extremely friendly and people-oriented, so if he was previously owned, he had no reason to be fearful of people. But when he wandered into a local business, it was clear that he was looking more for a decent meal than for human companionship, though he readily accepted both. The business owners and workers welcomed the cat, and he was offered temporary quarters in one of their cars, with clean, fluffy blankets on the seat, as you see in the pictures. Now housed with one of our foster team members, Fremont is living the life of Riley: plenty of food, plenty of affection and attention, plenty of safe indoor space to roam, plenty of toys. This kitty is ready for adoption, and would be a welcome addition to your household. Neutered, tested, microchipped, FVRCP & rabies vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Story
Devi is the cuddlebug of her litter, a sweet tortoiseshell girl.   While she loves to play, especially with her bolder sister Dora, her first priority is always a cuddle and nap in your lap. Her big purr will put you in the mood for a nap too! Dora and Devi are a wonderfully complementary pair.  While both are fun-loving and affectionate, Dora will always want a play session before a cuddle while Devi favors a lap and a nap before some gentle playtime. As tiny newborns, Dora and Devi were hidden away on the roof of a house, under the eaves, by their mama-cat.  We spent weeks trying to find these kittens, and only found them when they got big enough to come out of hiding and begin to explore the roof on their own.  But they were terribly underweight because there was no food on the roof, and their mama's milk supply was inadequate for the kittens.  However the upside of their roof isolation was that they were hungry enough to be very friendly to people who provided regular meals! Story
Pixi is pretty, playful and petite, perky and purr-y.  She's perfect! This girl is confident, curious and very affectionate too.  She and her buddy Woody are wonderful companions for each other and for their people, and just so much fun.  We just can't say enough good things about these two young cats! Pixi was a homeless cat living on the fringes of an encampment of homeless peoples, and perhaps their kindness made her quick to adapt to live as a rescued indoor cat.  Right out the trap she was ready for pets and hugs and began purring almost immediately.  This pretty girl loves to play with toys and to chase and wrestle with Woody, but she also enjoys quiet time birdwatching (through windows), curled up for a nap with Woody,  or better yet, cuddling with you. Please note: Pixi should be adopted with her best friendMore information & application [ts=1779346827&src=aap]
