Calico kittens & cats in Santa Clara, California

Hello! I’m looking to rehome my 5 year old female calico cat, who weights 7.10 lbs. she was rescued from a shelter at 5 months, and I’ve owned her since. She loves pets on her head, treats, and especially sun bathe. I’m looking for someone who can give her a space to sun bathing. She’s quite shy with strangers but with familiar faces she’s very cuddly. Please help me find a nice warm home for her asap. Ive recently had to move back in with my parents and they have a dog which she does not get a long with and its not quite possible I'm able to keep her here. Everything that is hers will be given to you, from her litter box, toys, food etc. Her diet consist of kibble throughout the day and wet food twice a day (brand: applaws). Hello, this is my cat. Her name is Zinnie. I adopted her in a rescue center near San Francisco Bay area in 2021 when she was 2 years old. She is about 4 and half years old now. Sadly, I am looking for rehoming her now due to my personal reasons. New to cats are okay, but I am also looking for someone who is responsible and kind and is able to commit to take care of her. Zinnie may be shy at the beginning, but she is very comfortable with people. She is quiet and healthy indoor cat and a fan of watching birds outside of windows. After getting familiar, she likes to hang out near you and follow you around in the house. she also enjoys getting some scratch on her head and neck with purring sound. She recently also enjoys sleeping around me near the pillow at night, which is very sweet and heart-warming.

She is a 4 year old, sweet, calm cat who loves to just be near someone at all times. She can be quite vocal and likes to have conversations. We took Uschi in from a co-worker in December of 2024 as they needed to re-home her because two of their other cats were picking on her. However our other cat does not like having another cat in the apartment and none of the strategies we have tried have worked. Uschi would fit wonderfully in to a home where there are people at home often. She was very shy and on guard originally but calmed down relatively quickly, however she does not really play. She much more enjoys basking and lounging. For this reason, a home with younger children might not be the best spot.
