Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 15-year-old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine (the volunteers say I run on solar power) but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention and do like to be doted on. I am an active and incredibly smart girl but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household. Adopt Kitty! kitty was found as a stray on december 10th and she can’t really see much but she is mellow,curious and loving. When it comes to her surroundings, she proceeds with caution but is still courageous enough to explore, she loves cat treats and nudging you and going between your legs. She gets excited when she hears food! If you hit her bowl she meows. It’s the cutest thing ever! She’s learned to use her litter box and she’s learned to accept love which wasn’t the easiest for her especially with the inability to really see what’s going on around her. She is ready for a place to call her own and for a family that is ready to love her too! She was just spayed, vaccinated and chipped!
