Story

Koda was a rescue, my adult Son wanted to provide her with a home environment that was welcoming and safe. She had a liter of 5 kittens, at 1 years old and 1 died and we were able to get 4 of them adopted through a rescue organization. Fast forward 2 years and the pandemic, my Son who rescued her became very sick with COVID Dec 2020, he is a diabetic and struggled with his recovery and continues to have respiratory issues. We also have two adult cats (10 years old) we are seeking family to take them. We chose this option for Koda cause she is so LOVING, PERSONABLE, WARM, FRIENDLY, CURIOUS, PLAYFUL, CARING, HAPPY!!! We are extremely sad to lose her, we are praying for the right fit family for her. My son has been categorized as a " COVID Long Hauler" his health is just not the same! Its impossible to keep the cats away from him, they all love him so much as he loves them as well!!! Koda loves to eat and play!!! She is not shy and she is not afraid of other cats or dogs.

My son adopted Krinklefry in September from the shelter in Chico. He was up there attending college. In December, he came home for Christmas break and decided to join the Navy instead of returning to college. He is shipping on Monday. I have two cats and a small dog at my house. My cat is not adjusting to having Krinklefry here. My cat is pretty neurotic and it is not Krinklefrys fault, but I have had my cat since she was a tiny kitten. Krinklefry has a deformed ear. It does not cause problems but that is why my son named her Krinklefry. She is a sweet cat who really just wants a loving home where she can sleep most of the time. I wish I could keep her, but it is really not working out because of my cat.
