Story
Shoshie is . She has a BEAUTIFUL calico coat. She . She is healthy and active, she needs a home with another young kitty or dog who is completely cat friendly. She is a little needy at the moment. Very beautiful. Healthy and playful. She does have three brothers if you want a pair but she's not totally dependent of any of the boys. She does need another cat in the home or a small friendly dog. She looks big in the photos but she's small. We are looking for a indoor only, non-smoking home. Not great with little kids but ages 10 and up, she's pretty good around. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Frida is a sweet little girl who raised six kittens on her own.  She is unbelievably sweet and trusting.  She always would let you handle her kittens without any concern or stress.  She plays a little.  But at this state in her life she loves to be pampered.  She greets you at the door with a sweet hello meow, and she will happily purr and even fall asleep in your lap if you let her.  Again, just a little sweetheart of a girl.     Happy Days Dog & Cat Rescue requires a Spay/Neuter Contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization at the time of adoption. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. HDDCR holds a deposit [$50 for dogs, $25 for cats] in addition to the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog or cat was spayed/neutered by the date stipulated on the Spay/Neuter Contract. The deposit will be refunded to the adopter if spay/neuter was done according to the Spay/Neuter Contract signed by the adopter. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee, paid at the time of adoption.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Hello!  I am Cyndi (Lauper).  I am a beautiful 10-week-old female Calico who was rescued with my mama and my 2 siblings.  I am very sweet, affectionate and playful.  I love all my toys and snuggling with my brothers.  I will be UTD on all my shots, neutered and microchipped very soon.  I would love to meet you.  I will steal your heart with my beauty as my foster mom says I am the most beautiful baby she's ever seen.   Come meet me for pets and snuggles!!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. June 29, 2026, 9:08 pm

Story
I adopted Poppy about 4 years ago. She is shy and took a while to warm up to me. She requires patience and doesn’t like doing anything she doesn’t want to. She is such a sweetheart. Poppy loves to be in your presence but not all over you. You will find her lying next to you with a paw on your leg or curled up on the blanket next to you. She is not very vocal—only around dinner time. Poppy is a special girl and I’m hoping to find a home that will love her as much as I do.

Story
Charlie and Jasper are brothers with two distinct personalities. They love to play together, however they sleep separately. Charlie loves string toys and interactive. Jasper loves those but he is very happy playing on his own with toy balls and mice. He carries them from room to room to continue to play. Both are super sweet and purr all the time, love pets and enjoy their condo. I can provide the cat condo, scratch post, two litterboxes and food to the new owners. These guys were bottle fed kittens, FIV negative, have all of their shots and vet records included.

Story
Mini is the sweetest cat in existence. I adopted her when she was around 1 year old and not socialized with humans. Yet she never hissed, clawed, or bit me, even when she was scared. With time and attention, she quickly blossomed into a playful, loving, cuddly lap cat. She loves companionship, but we're not home often and my schedule will only get busier, so I haven't been able to meet her emotional needs. She's incredibly affectionate and sensitive and would do well with people who are home most of the time. She's also very food motivated and learns quickly. She knows basic commands like sit, stand, high-five, and knows how to use buttons to tell you when she wants to play or be brushed. She's very easy-going with having her nails trimmed or other gentle grooming. She's also crate- and leash-trained, although she doesn't like going on walks because sh
