Story
I purchased Ginger from a someone for my daughter a bday gift. We were told that Ginger was a girl when got him. While using the restroom room one day, he came in and I seen his man parts and realized she was a boy. By that time, he wouldn’t not entertain any other name so Ginger stuck. He’s vary skittish but once he gets attached and trust you, he’s clingy. He loves to play with toys, especially lazors in the dark. He also loves watching tv. His fav movies are Secret Life of Pets, Pets United and Hotel Transylvania. He loves to be warm and comfortable. If you can’t find him around the house, he’s probably in the smallest and darkest place. He tends to hide behind the furnace, under the bed and he’s even been under the sink in the bathroom. Ginger likes his box clean and will use it elsewhere If it’s not. Our second cat Spencer died and he was so sad. He’s now getting his appetite back. My daughter had a baby and we are both too busy to keep him. Looking for an amazing home for him.

Story
Meet Bella – a cuddly little queen with just the right amount of sass 🖤 Bella is a very affectionate, people-loving girl who adores attention and snuggles. She’s not shy at all and bonds quickly with her humans. Her feisty streak earned her the name Bella (after Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter!), but her heart is pure gold. Bella had a rough start as a stray and was bullied by the other strays before being taken in at around 7 months old. Because of this, she is very scared of other cats and would do best as the only cat in the home. She is good with calm dogs as long as they don’t give her too much attention. She is FIV/FeLV negative, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations. While we love her deeply, she isn’t thriving with other cats and deserves a peaceful home where she can feel safe and be the center of attention. If you want a loyal, cuddly, slightly spicy best friend — Bella is your girl.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cricket is a sweet little girl who loves to play and is very gentle with her playmate Emmy.  She likes to sleep curled up by our feet, in our arms and on or next to our laps, indicating that she is an excellent cuddler.  She enjoys being held and petted, as evidenced by her loud purrs.  She always uses her litter box and is a little enthusiastic about people food.     Happy Days Dog & Cat Rescue requires a Spay/Neuter Contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization at the time of adoption. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. HDDCR holds a deposit [$50 for dogs, $25 for cats] in addition to the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog or cat was spayed/neutered by the date stipulated on the Spay/Neuter Contract. The deposit will be refunded to the adopter if spay/neuter was done according to the Spay/Neuter Contract signed by the adopter. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee, paid at the time of adoption.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Hi friends I really could use a good home for Tootie and I am willing to provide food litter and all the essentials for the rest of the year. Please let me know if you are interested or just have questions Smokey (Tootie) loves to walk on a leash and is my heart sweet loving and super snuggly! He enjoys waking you up in the morning for a nice head scratch. He loves snuggling up on the bed at night for a nice snuggle. He enjoys watching the birds, deer and rabbits outside and will let you know when he is ready for a snack. He is extremely playful and during COVID was my constant companion now that I am moving with someone severely allergic I have to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. I would love to know that he is in a happy home and hope you will fall in love with him as much as I have

Story
Roman is a big boy! He’s extremely sweet with his humans of any age and loves to be pet and cuddled. His purr is the loudest I’ve ever heard! He’s very good with dogs and just ignores them but he needs to be an only cat! He’s an alpha cat and can be a bully to other cats. He’s got hunter instincts so I don’t suggest a bird companion either. He loves to play and is very silly and enjoys being around people.
