Story
Approximate birthdate 12/22/22. Hello my name is Mia, I can be aggressive with head butts and wanting attention, but I'm a big time lover. I do not do well with lots of noise I would prefer a quiet home with older children. I'm calm during the day and love playing with my toys at night or when I get my zoomies. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**April 27, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Smore was adopted to be a companion for another kitten who recently passed away from an autoimmune disease. She is sweet, talkative and playful. She's also incredibly smart! She loves opening doors and IKEA drawers. Issue is she is very timid and is being bullied by my partners male cat. She is an easy target because she won't fight back. We have tried pheromones. We have tried making new cat habitats for them to be away from each other. We have tried reintroduce th3m and separate feedings. She is living her life afraid. We only get to spend time with her when we lock her in a separate part of the house with us. If you want to give this beautiful little girl a quiet, peaceful (aside from children. She loves my children! Boys 8&9) please reach out. She is fully vaccinated, chipped and spayed. She sits still for nail trimmings and tolerates being carried around like a baby by two little boys who love her. You will not find a more docile little girl.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tweety Bird was thrown out of her $500,000 home into a winter storm at night with a cardboard box and a blanket in it cruelly in the freezing rain and snow while her owner left to go out of country for a few months. She was starved, had ear mites, is front paw declawed and about 8 years old.  She has had a very rough start in life, but we think she was loved at one time and someone most likely gave her away to her last cruel owner.  She developed a very bad cold as well in the freezing cold in December.  Tweety was also missing some teeth sadly and had a painful mouth requiring a few more teeth to be extracted.  A good Samaritan put her in her vehicle and tried to help her as much as they could.    We stepped in to rescue her but sadly don’t have a foster home open for her right now, so she is in a boarding facility.  Tweety recently had a dental, blood panel and vaccines and is very healthy now and waiting for her perfect home.   Tweety absolutely loves being held, she'll fall asleep in your arms or lap and purr extremely loud. She doesn’t seem comfortable around other kitties yet so a home without kitties or slow introductions with a separate room to start with would be great for her.   Could you be the loving home this beautiful pint size beauty deserves? Please consider this sweet kitty. A senior or a quiet home would be perfect for this middle-aged lap girl.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 28, 2024, 4:22 am

Story
Lotus is GORGEOUS Tortie with a golden coat. She is a cute little white paws and she is a sister to Crystal, Karma and their mother Serenity, all were pregnant at the same time. Lotus hasn't had her kittens yet but they are very attached to each other. Lotus now awaiting the soon arrival of her children. Once she delivers, raise and wean her babies it would be best for them to stay together. They are VERY young to be having kittens. Lotus is what is called a golden Tortie tuxedo. She is beautiful. Very friendly and sweet like the rest of her family, she is playful and affectionate. They would be okay in a home with a cat friendly dog who doesn't bother them much. We are looking for a non smoking home, indoor only. Story
Ramona Hello everyone, my name is Ramona, let me tell you a little about myself. Now, I don't mind having some hang-out time with a girlfriend once in a while, a girl needs some girl talk and all. But honestly, what I really love is having a handsome man give me a good chin scratch, head pet, or brushing. Girl, don't get me started on how amazing it feels to curl up in your man's lap and have him brush you for as long as you want! What can I say, I'm a sucker for a man. I'd rather be roomies with a guy than another girl if I am being honest here. I'm also not willing to share my man with other cats, but can you blame a girl? Who would share their man? I have met a few dogs and they are okay as long as they leave me alone. Also, not to sound like a diva, but I do need two litter boxes because I don't like having to go #2 where I already went #1. I honestly don't know how you humans do it. I will admit, I'm a senior cat and I do have times where I may miss the box but these lovely puppy pee pads catch what the box doesn't, plus I love the blue color (makes my eyes pop). This aging beauty must also admit I do have some arthritis in my hips, I can't swing dance like I used to. I may need pain medication as I get older, and more beautiful, but that is a bridge to cross later. I do prefer though, since my hips hurt, that my man not touch my back. I'm not into back massages or pets, it just doesn't feel good. Sadly, I was found by this lovely organization as a stray and I cannot tell them just how old I am, language barrier and a lady never reveals her age anyway. We just age like fine wine......whatever that is. But this little lady still has many more years to live, her sass and her class. I would love to find a kindhearted, patient gentleman to take me home and give me the life I need. So, won't you come be my knight in shining armor and adopt me? If you have any questions please email info@sheltertohome.com for an application. Adoption fee is $50**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. Story
What can I say I'm a beautiful sleek silky black Diva. I'm hoping to find a furever home with a kitten or cat buddy. I love all my foster friends. I even live among dogs. I'm looking for a special family. I am very shy. My foster mom keeps saying I've come a long way. I was a very frightened kitten when she took me in. It took me several months to warm up to her. I still don't like being picked up but I do like my scratches and lots of petting. I would need a room to hang out in until I got adjusted to my new digs. I love my treats and my laser toy. Hope to meet you soon!**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. Story
My name is John. I was born in October, 2021. I am a handsome gray dude. My foster mom's say I have come a long way. My sister and I take turns staying at each of our two-foster mom's homes. That is so we can get use to different surroundings. I used to be growly and hissy. I am still on the shy side. I would do best in a quiet home, a house without kids. I need someone who has patience in wanting me to interact. It might take a little time for me to feel comfortable and hang out with you. I get along with my foster kitties of all ages. I would love it if I could be adopted with my sister (Astrid). We understand each other. My sister (Astrid) and I have so much fun together. We love to bird watch and to catch flies. We like to play with everything, even with stuff we are not supposed to play with (lol). If you are in the kitchen or eating something while you are watching tv, we will meow at you. (That is telling you we want a bite to eat.) We are both easy to take care of.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter.
