Story
Meet Brandy, a beautiful tabby and white girl with a gentle heart and a bit of a sassy streak! She may start off a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her time and space, and you’ll quickly see her sweet, affectionate side shine through.Brandy has the cutest way of showing love—head bumps and full-body rubs are her signature moves (a trait she shares with her siblings). Once she feels comfortable, she’ll be by your side, offering affection and even the occasional kiss—on her terms, of course. She’s grown up in a lively home with cats, foster kittens, and dogs of all sizes, and she fits right in. Brandy has never been without feline companionship, so she’d thrive in a home with at least one other friendly cat. She loves to play all day with her furry friends, chasing, pouncing, and entertaining everyone around her.At night, she turns into a little cuddle bug. Brandy will seek you out for snuggles and might even cry if you close the bedroom door on her—she wants to be near her person when it’s time to wind down. While Brandy is incredibly loving, she also has a bit of spice and might not be the best fit for homes with very young children. She knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know!Brandy has developed particular taste in food—she’s picky with wet food but adores Dr. Marty’s freeze-dried chicken kibble. Her dry food is left out for grazing, and she’s doing well with the litter box, with no specific litter preferences. One of Brandy’s most adorable quirks? She wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy! And her meow? It’s more of a soft, sweet “Muuuu” sound that will absolutely melt your heart.Oh—and we can't forget her most impressive talent: Brandy is a professional pole dancer on the cat tree, showing off moves that are equal parts graceful and hilarious. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly, slightly sassy companion with lots of love to give—and a big personality—Brandy might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
Peaches is her name, but as far as she’s concerned it’s Mammas. I’ve called her that as long as I’ve had her, so she answers to it and seems to be comforted by it when I say it. She’s a special lady who came to me as a mom of 5. I’ve had her a few months. Her babies were all adopted and she was a fantastic mama, but is very skittish. It’s taken time, but she’s gotten better with approaching me for love and her favorites is neck skritches. She will push her head right down into the scratch. She does not like to be picked up and would probably do best as an only animal if the house, although she does well with another young cat that is with her right now. She is still skittish and will run when I stand up move around (but has been getting better). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s never bitten or swiped. I just think she’s not sure how to be loved. She does make a lot of sounds. I’ve never heard her meow lol, but she will chirp and make small noises that are super hard to explain, but adorable. Story
Khaleesi is a short-haired torbie with stunning markings and a whole lot of personality. She’s very friendly, though she likes to take a little time to get to know new people before fully warming up. Once she does, her affectionate side really comes out.Khaleesi definitely has a sassy streak and prefers to interact on her own terms, so a home without small children would likely be the best fit. She enjoys cuddling and will happily sleep with you—when she decides it’s cuddle time. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and absolutely loves playtime. Khaleesi is also very comfortable around dogs of all sizes, from small to large. One of her favorite things is curling up to sleep with my roommate. She uses the litter box perfectly and has great eating habits. Khaleesi loves her wet food, which she enjoys morning and night, and she also has access to dry food for free feeding throughout the day.If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
Bonded with CiriloCamilla arrived for meals around the same time as Cirilo. She appeared with half her tail missing, fresh wound with cause unknown. She was TNRed around April 2024 through the city and was then kept indoors to provide her medical attention for her tail (in the end no further treatment was necessary), give her respite from the Texas heat, and also to increase her chances of survival. At follow ups with a vet, she was estimated to be around 2 years old.She was initially very feisty, a bit scared, and a bit feral. She has grown into a total cuddle bug though, and she loves her pets though she is still a bit wary and will play-bite if she feels overwhelmed. She tends to be vocal and has a case of FOMO. She will calm down if she joins the party, and she will calm down after a few minutes if she does not. She is not too used to being picked up either even though she goes limp in one’s arms instead of fighting away. It would be very nice for them to have a home after living outside.Adoption Fee is $150.00 when adopted togetherAll kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
SWEET AND GENTLE BIG BOY IS TIMID, BUT LOVES PEOPLE! NEEDS TO FEEL SAFE IN A CALM ENVIRONMENT, WITH ENCOURAGEMENT TO BE CONFIDENT AND HAVE FUN. GOOD WITH QUIET OLDER KIDS, 6+ YRS. HAS BEEN FINE WHEN SEEING CATS AROUND, BUT NOT TESTED OUT WITH THEM. NEVER MET A DOG. I`m a simple guy that has lived a quiet life. I`ve never been around kids or other animals. I`ve never been very outgoing, except for showing my people I love them very much! I need lots of sweet talk and a very soft touch getting to know and trust you. The longer I know you, the more you will love me! People mean everything, so I will become your best buddy, showering you with attention, and I`ll happily come when you call! Until I become more confident, sudden movements or noises make me jumpy. Remember me when using plastic bags, a broom, and especially the vacuum! I`ll back away and hide if I get nervous or frightened, or look to you to tell me it`s okay. I`m always so gentle that I should be fine, maybe even good buddies, with older kids that are sweet and on the quiet side. In a new place, I`ll find a comfy home base that feels safe. As I begin to feel at ease, I will venture out to curiously check things out a little at a time. At home I was a little playful. I`m still nervous here, but a couple of my toys have moved around when nobody was looking. If you`re very gentle with our wand toy, I will start playing! I`ve seen the other cats when I was out, and just stopped to look in at them curiously for a few seconds. I haven`t been out with any of them. If I`m living with other pets in the home, they will need to be sweet and friendly, and allow me some space. I`d like a covered bed, or a cozy mat or bed in a quiet spot, like under a desk. Soft blankets on furniture will tempt me to spend time there! Having a cat tree with a box in the middle would be fun and feel safe. I eat some dry food, and I prefer tuna and fish flavored wet food. I don`t have much to say, but I`m incredibly good company, that`s always got plenty of love to share!
