Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. Meet Lleda! Lleda is a striking calico with a soft mix of orange, white, and gray-black fur and the most beautiful golden eyes. I like to call her “the queen,” because she carries herself with confidence and grace in everything she does. Smart and fearless, Lleda often takes on the role of “mother” to her siblings. She was the quickest to pick up litter training and adjust to indoor life, and she’s always the first to investigate a new person, toy, or adventure. Playful, curious, and confident, she’s also very cuddly and affectionate once she’s had her fun. Lleda is meticulous about keeping herself clean and loves to climb and explore. Her favorite spot is perched at the very top of the cat tree, gazing out the window like she’s keeping watch over her little kingdom. She does wonderfully with children, other cats, and even dogs, making her a great fit for many homes. Her rescue story began at just three weeks old, when she and her siblings were picked up outside someone’s house. From the start, she adjusted beautifully to indoor living and has blossomed into a playful, loving, and confident kitten who will make a fantastic companion. Meet Jinx! 🧡🖤 Jinx is a stunning tortoiseshell beauty with a soft, short coat of rich orange and black. This confident, affectionate girl has truly blossomed and now loves being right by your side—whether she’s curled up in your lap during TV time or serving as the cutest little office “paperweight” while you work. Social and delightfully chatty, Jinx enjoys talking to her humans, especially when she’s hoping for extra attention. She has a big personality wrapped in a loving heart and thrives on human companionship, making her a wonderful best-friend-type cat. Jinx’s only special request is patience. She may need a couple of weeks to fully settle into a new environment, but once she feels safe, her loving nature shines. She does best in a calm home with adults or older children and prefers to be the only pet. While she can tolerate a mellow, respectful cat, she truly shines as a solo companion. She currently lives with a large dog and holds her ground, and could potentially adjust to a small dog who respects her space. Jinx has been in foster care for several months and is ready for her forever home—one where she can offer devotion, personality, and endless cuddles in return. She may just be the loyal companion you didn’t know you were missing. Meet Violet! A delightful fourteen-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Austin, TX, whose essence is a bright burst of companionship, conversation, and playful charm wrapped in a lovely grey tabby coat. Violet may be a senior, but she approaches each day with the enthusiasm of a much younger cat, always ready to share her thoughts, follow her favorite person around the house, and sprinkle a little extra joy into everyday life. Violet is a social butterfly! She loves being part of whatever is happening and has a remarkable talent for making her presence known. This talkative girl is wonderfully vocal, often carrying on cheerful conversations and even treating her people to her own unique style of singing. If you move from room to room, don't be surprised to find Violet happily tagging along, curious about every activity and eager to spend time with her favorite humans. Playtime remains one of Violet's favorite parts of the day. Ribbons, strings, crinkly paper, boxes, bags, and tiny treasures all capture her attention. She delights in batting toys through the air and turning ordinary household items into exciting adventures! One of her most famous quirks is her adorable "dolphin technique." When someone holds a hand above her head, she rises up to gently bump it in exchange for a pet, creating a charming dolphin-like motion that never fails to make people smile. When she is not exploring or chatting, Violet enjoys affection on her own terms. She loves pets, scratches, and cozy lap time when the mood strikes. Her warm personality creates a strong bond with the people she trusts, and she thrives when she has companionship and someone nearby to share her days. Violet would do well in a calm, child-free home without other pets, where she can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. She is spayed, microchipped, and has a health history that includes urinary crystals about four years ago, which have remained clear since. Her future family will want to keep plastic bags safely tucked away, as Violet has been known to chew on and even eat pieces of plastic bags if given the opportunity. Violet can be adopted on her own or alongside her sister, Veruca. She would do well either continuing her next chapter with Veruca or finding a new loving home of her own with the right caregiver. Are you ready to welcome a chatty, playful companion who will happily make every day feel a little brighter? To learn more about adopting Violet, please contact adopt@joyfulpets.com! Meet Veruca and Violet! Two delightful fourteen-year-old Domestic Short Hair sisters currently in Austin, TX, whose essence is a heartwarming blend of wisdom, companionship, and quiet charm wrapped in beautiful tabby coats, ready to begin their next chapter together. These bonded girls have spent their lives side by side, and they are looking for a new loving home where their special friendship can continue to shine. While they come as a pair, their personalities are wonderfully different! Veruca, a lovely grey and tan tabby with white accents, enjoys a little personal space and prefers to introduce herself on her own schedule. She appreciates gentle patience and loves being allowed to make the first move. Once she feels comfortable, she may surprise you by becoming a lap cat, and she even passes the pick-up test with ease! Violet, a beautiful grey tabby, is the more vocal half of this dynamic duo. She can be shy when meeting new people, but a little gentle coaxing goes a long way. As trust grows, her affectionate side takes center stage. She enjoys pets, scratches, cozy lap time, and happily chatting with her favorite humans. Her enthusiastic commentary can fill a room with personality and laughter! These senior sisters are experts at finding the sunniest spot in the house and the coziest place to nap near their people. Veruca loves batting around hair ties and occasionally chattering at birds through the window. Violet is entertained by ribbons, strings, packing paper, bags, boxes, and tiny treasures she can toss into the air. She is also known for her impressive “dolphin technique” and her love of drinking from the sink! Both girls are spayed and microchipped. Violet experienced urinary crystals several years ago and has remained clear since. Their future family should know that both sisters have a mischievous fondness for plastic bags, so keeping those tucked away is important! Veruca and Violet would be compatible with a calm, patient caregiver who appreciates easygoing senior cats, gentle conversations, and the joy of earning a cat’s trust. Could your family be the one to share sunny afternoons and cozy evenings with these charming sisters? To learn more about adopting this wonderful pair, please contact adopt@joyfulpets.com!
