Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Estimated DOB 2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. Story
Little Wendy, or sometimes just called Little or Wendy, is an adorable 8 lbs. of energy. She had a challenging few months - living on the street, boarded at the vet, and adopted for a week(and returned through no fault of her own) before coming to live with her foster mom. Lots of tough transitions in a short period of time. Though fearful at first, she has settled in really well in her new environment and is super playful, affectionate in her unique and sweet way, and loves to be petted. She loves be around her foster mom. This girl enjoys company and just being close by. She flops over on her side or back to say hello when foster mom enters the room.  She adores her little fuzzy ball toys, torn up papers, strings, and catnip. She cajoles and assists her mom into retrieving the balls under the couch that she can't reach. Wendy will spend time looking out at the outside world from the bedroom or living room window for quite a while.  And you can tell she is just happy to be indoors and safe. You'll see her racing up and down the stairs and flying over furniture - a typical one year-old kitty. She is good about using the cat scratching box, too. And, she sleeps quietly throughout the night…enjoys a long snooze. We think Wendy may do best as an only cat. Her estimated birth date is October 29, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2335186##

Story
Meet gorgeous and gentle Love Bug! She and her six kittens came to the rescue when a kind person found them. Mama Love Bug was working hard to keep her sweet family safe and she is the most loving mama cat ever!  Love Bug is obsessed with cat nip and will turn into a silly puddle with a cat nip toy.  She is ALWAYS close by. Emptying the dishwasher? She’s under it watching. Eating? She’s watching every bite. Working from home? She’s sitting and watching you the whole time. She wants to make sure she knows everything that is going on. Love Bug loves to have full body pets, including tummy rubs!  She will even reach out her paw to gently tap you if you walk away from petting her too soon. This sweet girl has THE most beautiful eyes and her watchful gaze is rather comforting and makes you feel totally connected to her. Love Bug has done an amazing job raising her kittens and now it's her turn to be cared for! Love Bug would be fine as an only cat....she is very chill and Zen and just needs to know her people are around and available for pets and attention. Her estimated birth date is January 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2377641##

Story
Meet Galaxy, the matriarch of the Galaxy litter of three kittens.  Still a kitten herself, we believe she was probably just 7 months old when she became pregnant. Her kittens were only a week old when a kind soul delivered her and her babies to a seriously overcrowded local animal shelter. This little family had clearly been living on the street prior to this rescue. She is a short hair Calico Siamese mix with striking greenish gold eyes and gorgeous colors. She has been a wonderful, sweet mama to her kittens. She loves people and wants their attention and will let you know when she is needing a bit of space from all the loving attention and affection! She's a beautiful, highly social cat who loves the humans but prefers to be an only cat in a loving home. She shows off her Siamese genes with her exotic bone structure and desire to chat with humans and cats alike. She can trill like a Siamese and meows and also makes a sweet sound that is all her own. She has a bit of anxiety at our adoption center so we will set up private meetings with potential adopters. This girl is a beauty. Her estimated birth date is August 9, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR need to be indoor only. ##2425285##

Story
Meet Peter and Vincent! Two enchanting five-year-old Domestic Short Hair brothers currently living in Denver, CO, whose gentle hearts are wrapped in soft, elegant coats and filled with quiet devotion. These bonded brothers are shy at first, preferring to observe from a cozy perch or under the bed until they feel completely safe. But once trust blooms, they transform into snuggly, bed-sharing companions who insist on curling up beside their person at night! Their favorite greeting ritual is sniffing guests’ shoes with utmost ceremony, as though gathering mysterious news from distant lands. Peter, with his warm orange and white tabby coat, is the more sensitive soul, easily startled by sudden sounds or movements, and he truly needs a calm, quiet environment where his person is around often. Whisper his name from across the room and watch his happy tail flicks as he soaks in your gentle attention. He lives for soft octopus wands, lazy dangling mice games, and the delight of pushing toys back and forth under closed doors! Though he manages mild pica well with regular meals from his custom refrigerated feeder, silvervine sticks, and a calm routine, he still appreciates someone mindful of his needs, always approaching him with slow tenderness. Vincent, dressed in sleek black, on the other paw, is confident, playful, and famous for his joyful antics! He loves bouncing balls, ribbon wands, and running water, and will gladly initiate chase games – though these can startle Peter, so mindful playtime is key. When Vincent is feeling particularly loving, he will climb into your lap, knead your tummy with blissful drooling, and purr himself to sleep against your warmth. He simply cannot tolerate tuna, but otherwise thrives with care and interactive fun! Both are exceptionally intelligent – they know tricks like up, down, sit, and will do a proud little bear pose for pumpkin. Their ideal new loving home is quiet, without other pets or children, and with someone who works from home or is around most days to provide the stability and companionship they need to truly thrive. Are you ready to welcome these devoted brothers into your life and build a tranquil, love-filled sanctuary together? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to begin their next beautiful chapter with you!

Story
Meet Ninja! A spirited eight-year-old Domestic Shorthair currently living in The Colony, TX, whose essence is sleek mystery with a dash of playful charm—all wrapped up in a luxurious black coat and punctuated by one delightfully rogue white whisker. Ninja is the epitome of feline charisma: a big, confident fellow with an affectionate heart and a whole lot to say! And talk he will—this chatty gentleman greets his humans at the door with enthusiastic meows, purrs like a revved-up engine when he’s being petted, and will happily carry on a full conversation if you’re willing to listen. He’s the kind of cat who makes his presence known in the best way possible—through love, cuddles, and the occasional belly-up invitation. When he's not snuggled up on your lap or nestled behind you like a little backpack cat, Ninja is zooming through the house with wild joy, batting around foam balls or stalking wand toys with ninja-like precision. Catnip turns him into a goofy whirlwind, and he needs space to stretch his legs, climb, and survey his kingdom like the large-and-in-charge feline he is. Ninja thrives in calm, cozy environments where he can be the one and only feline royalty. He’s compatible with adults and respectful older children who understand that sometimes a kitty needs space. While he may tolerate a mellow, cat-indifferent dog, he cannot live with other cats—especially males. This vocal, curious, and sensitive soul is best suited for a patient, cat-savvy caregiver who will give him the time he needs to settle in and feel safe. Though he may need a gentle introduction to a new space, once Ninja finds his groove, he’ll reward you with love, laughter, and the joy of being your loyal, one-on-one companion. He’s looking for someone who’ll let him be their shadow, snuggle buddy, and entertainment all in one furry package. Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about welcoming Ninja into your heart and home!
