Story
Lucy likes solitude, she’s not very social. She will come to you if she wants petting. She does not like dogs, she has lived with another male cat her whole life but I do not know how she will feel about any other cat, she may not like other cats. She has always been an inside cat and only been out a few feet from the front door. She does better with just adults.

Story
Butterscotch came from a feeding colony. Rescuers believe she was dumped because she was so sweet-natured and always come out when meals were served. She spent her life outside until someone decided to give her a chance at being a beloved house cat. She was brought into foster care because of her gentleness. Around new humans, Butterscotch is a shy and quiet girl. But, here is the most unusual thing about Butterscotch: she is a natural babysitter around tiny kittens. She will love and nurture nursing kittens and actually takes turn caring for them to give relief to their mama cat. We suspect her mothering nature stems from her time in the feeding colony, where young female cats often care for nurslings that are part of the community. Despite a luxurious, pampered life indoors, Butterscotch is still cautious. She always had to be careful and on the lookout for predators when she was on her own. While she might look a little worried, she is very gentle and her foster family can hold her. If you are interested in Butterscotch, please let us know so we can set up a zoom meeting with her foster home to show her. To Meet and Greet this colorful kitty, please copy and paste the link into your browser to fill out this application form so we can schedule a meeting: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdf3ebq7POP7EcSJGQV-GK9GThtux4SYMGV9jqWyQJyq7M1KQ/viewform Please note the following: We always do vet reference checks and we WILL NOT adopt kittens or cats into household where the residential pets are unvaccinated. This is to ensure the safety of BOTH our kitten/cat and your current pets. We also only adopt locally and will reserve the right to deny Meet and Greet as our volunteers cannot do any home visits if the distance is too great.

Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Fleur, approx. DOB 5/11/23, was born to a feral mom and lived under a deck.  She was brought inside and the foster has worked with her and her sibling to get them friendly and healthy.  If you're a Harry Potter fan, you'll recognize where she gets her name from! She loves to explore the house and her favorite game to play is hide and seek. She really enjoys cuddling alongside her sibling Hermione, but another one of her favorite spots to rest is at the top of her cat tree under the sunlight. She grows more and more confident around humans every day and would make an adorable addition to your household. Fleur and Hermione will run up to their foster for attention while rubbing in and out of her legs.  They have never been around dogs or kids and would probably be best without young kids in the home.  They love to watch CATS TV.  Because she is especially close to Hermione (they start meowing and looking for one another when they aren't around each other), it is preferred that they be adopted together. System ID: MSM-1-24 -DOB: 5/11/23. Story
Penny is a 5 year old cat who still thinks she is a kitten sometimes. She enjoys curling up in your lap for pets, playing with toys, or taking a nap in any box or “cave” she can find. She is shy at first with new people, but once she gets to know you she becomes your best friend. She has gotten along well with our 6 year old cattle dog and loves when our nieces come to visit (under 10 years old). She prefers to be the center of attention and may do well with fewer fur-friends.

Sesame is very shy around new people. But loves to play with lazer pointers and any toy thats attached to a string. Is a little over 1 year old and has not been spayed yet. She is currently up to date on all her shots. She is very independent. Does not care so much for being held. But definitely loves to play with a bunch of toys. Looking for a new home. Also loves to eat. Whenever you go to feed her she will definitely let u know shes hungry. Overall a very sweet girl. Can take a bit for her to get used to new people. Please contact for more pictures or videos

Story
Little Wendy, or sometimes just called Little or Wendy, is an adorable 8 lbs. of energy. She had a challenging few months - living on the street, boarded at the vet, and adopted for a week(and returned through no fault of her own) before coming to live with her foster mom. Lots of tough transitions in a short period of time. Though fearful at first, she has settled in really well in her new environment and is super playful, affectionate in her unique and sweet way, and loves to be petted. She loves be around her foster mom. This girl enjoys company and just being close by. She flops over on her side or back to say hello when foster mom enters the room.  She adores her little fuzzy ball toys, torn up papers, strings, and catnip. She cajoles and assists her mom into retrieving the balls under the couch that she can't reach. Wendy will spend time looking out at the outside world from the bedroom or living room window for quite a while.  And you can tell she is just happy to be indoors and safe. You'll see her racing up and down the stairs and flying over furniture - a typical one year-old kitty. She is good about using the cat scratching box, too. And, she sleeps quietly throughout the night…enjoys a long snooze. We think Wendy may do best as an only cat. Her estimated birth date is October 29, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2335186##

Story
Hi, my name is Siggy! I'm about 2 years old, but I live life like a playful kitten—if it moves, I’m chasing it! I showed up at my foster mom’s window one day, and she rescued me from life on the streets. Growing up outside made me a little survivor, but now I’m discovering how nice it is to have a warm, loving home. I get along with the other cats in the house, though I especially love playing with the younger one—we run around and wrestle all day! I'm still learning to fully trust humans, but every day I get a little more comfortable being part of a family. I love head rubs, but tummy rubs are reserved for someone really special. I’m a big fan of toys, food, and all the treats my foster mom gives me. I also have a unique tail from an old pelvic injury—it makes my walk a little different, but it doesn’t slow me down! I still zoom around the house and even leap onto beds for cozy naps. If you’re looking for a spirited, sweet cat who’s learning how to love and trust, I might be your perfect match! **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
