Story
Meet Judy. A member of the Zootopia litter, she is THE most gorgeous Calico girl with her vibrant colors. Her foster mom says she is the best mix of fun and connected and confident and independent. A  part of her unique and special charm. This girl is full of play and some sass when she is dealing with her siblings. She has boundaries and can take good care of herself in a fun and playful tussle. And, she is quite the poser when a camera is capturing her beauty. You will have a phone full of photos if you adopt her, we think. She would do best with a cat buddy in a new home. Her estimated birth date is March 31, 2026. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2725143##

Story
Maya is a beautiful DSH calico tabby female born approximately 2/20/2026. Meet Maya!  Maya was rescued along with her siblings by her foster mom and has blossomed into a sweet, confident, and affectionate kitten. She is curious about everything and approaches life with a fearless spirit, always ready for her next adventure.  This playful girl loves all kinds of toys and enjoys spending time wrestling and playing with her siblings. One of Maya's favorite places to be is perched on your shoulders, where she can relax and keep an eye on everything around her. Maya is also a little purring machine. The moment she is picked up or petted, her motor starts running, making it clear just how much she enjoys attention and affection. She has been raised around resident cats and gets along well with them. She has not yet been introduced to dogs. After a fun-filled day of playing, Maya and her siblings love nothing more than curling up together on their foster mom's lap for a cozy nap.  Because she enjoys feline companionship, Maya would love to be adopted with one of her siblings or into a home that already has a friendly cat to be her companion. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and adventurous kitten with a big purr and an even bigger heart, Maya may be the perfect addition to your family! June 15, 2026, 3:24 pm

Story
Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
Homer is a gentle soul who is hoping for a second chance. He and his sister Gertie were adopted from RHS as kittens but were returned due to their owner's inability to care for them. Homer is incredibly sweet and mild and loves to cuddle up with his person.  When we first came back to us, he was terrified. But within a few days, his true personality started coming through. This gentle, loving boy just wants some consistency and love.  Do you think you could give Homer a second chance at forever?  Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. Story
Our next events to meet our pets:  Saturday September 27, 2025 from 1:30-3:30PM  at Take Me Home Pet Rescue 580 W Arapaho Rd Suite 433, Richardson, TX 75080 Saturday October 4, 2025 from 1-3PM at Petco in Plano 801F W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075   Marie Curie is the only girl in the ‘science babies’ litter and she’s as brilliant on the outside as she is on the inside! She’s a stunning torbie (mix of tortoiseshell and tabby) and an experiment of beautiful colors! Like her namesake, Marie is independent and happy keeping herself occupied. She’s playful, but less adventurous than her brothers and is happiest snuggling and making biscuits on you or a soft blanket. Marie has two siblings (Atom and Bond) and could be happy on her own or with a friend. Marie’s formula is 3 parts love and 2 parts independence. If you are looking for a balance of affection and independence, Marie could be the girl for you!    Marie Curie is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, she is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $135.  Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria.
