Story
Meet absolutely stunning Pizookie...a Calico beauty. She and her kittens, members of the Cookie litter, came to the rescue after being found outdoors. Barely out of her kitten stage, she had babies of her own and her time on the streets keeping her kittens safe had to be a difficult time for her. Currently living in a loving foster home, she is an empty nester learning all the loveliness of indoor life with kind humans.  She enjoys a cozy spot for a good nap and a good viewing of outside life from the comforts of home.   This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and love, she blossoms into the most loyal and affectionate companion.  While she may not be a full on cuddler just yet, the good news is that she is always motivated by treats and snacks and we believe that being a snuggly lap kitty is in her future.  She gets along with other cats. If you’re looking for an easy and Zen companion who brings grace and warmth to your home, Pizookie is the perfect match. Her estimated birth date is April 1, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2358723##

Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. DOB: 03/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. Story
Meet Lleda! Lleda is a striking calico with a soft mix of orange, white, and gray-black fur and the most beautiful golden eyes. I like to call her “the queen,” because she carries herself with confidence and grace in everything she does. Smart and fearless, Lleda often takes on the role of “mother” to her siblings. She was the quickest to pick up litter training and adjust to indoor life, and she’s always the first to investigate a new person, toy, or adventure. Playful, curious, and confident, she’s also very cuddly and affectionate once she’s had her fun. Lleda is meticulous about keeping herself clean and loves to climb and explore. Her favorite spot is perched at the very top of the cat tree, gazing out the window like she’s keeping watch over her little kingdom. She does wonderfully with children, other cats, and even dogs, making her a great fit for many homes. Her rescue story began at just three weeks old, when she and her siblings were picked up outside someone’s house. From the start, she adjusted beautifully to indoor living and has blossomed into a playful, loving, and confident kitten who will make a fantastic companion. DOB: 6/2025 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
Our next events to meet our pets:  Saturday October 25, 2025 at Half Price Books in Richardson, Texas from 1-3PM 100 S Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080   Meet Enoki, one of our little Mushrooms! This sweet kitten is ready to find her forever home. She love snuggling and playing and would thrive in a variety of homes!  Please note: We don’t DNA test our kittens, but we think Enoki looks like she could be a Maine coon-type mix. She's likely a domestic long hair mix, but "Maine coon" has become synonymous with long haired cats. Most cats in the US are made up of a variety of different breeds, and we think Enoki falls into that category as well. Either way, we know she’s 100% cute!  Enoki is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, he is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $135.  Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria.
