Story
Meet Lyla. An absolutely gorgeous Calico floof with perfect white paws and bold colors of fur. She was rescued along with her four siblings from a local animal shelter after they were left at the shelter door in a box prior to opening hours. Lyla is a little bit shy around new people, but once she gets comfortable she is super playful and a great hunter! She loves chasing toys and playing with her siblings. She loves to cuddle when you sit or lay down. She will do best with a friendly cat buddy in a new home. Her estimated birth date is October 1, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##1878749##

Story
Taylor is a beautiful petite DSH Calico with white female born approximately 9/12/2021. "I'm just a wisp of a girl, super sweet, and love to perch on a nice shoulder and give people a good bath. I'm very vocal and very food motivated; my fosters think that I might be trainable! I am curious about everything and have even figured out how to open cabinet doors! I am friendly with people and other cats. I enjoy interactive play with you, but when on my own, I can keep myself amused with my toys. I do my twice-a-day zooms like clock work. I also love to snuggle up close at nap time. I prefer to drink water by finding a faucet with a drip, but I am never messy." Taylor is microchipped and currently in a foster home. Her adoption fee is $105.April 10, 2024, 6:36 pm

Story
Penny is a beautiful DSH Calico female born approximately 9/1/2023. Her coat is very striking as it is a combination of calico, tortoiseshell, and tabby. Her eyes and eyeliner are a lovely copper color. Penny came to NBCR through a neighborhood TNR. An NBCR volunteer that was helping a neighbor agreed to transport and hold her for the recovery period, then to be released back into the neighborhood. Once she got her home, though, it was clear that this tiny 6-pound girl was just too little, too sweet, and too loving to be put back outside. Right now Penny is enjoying being inside with a nice, comfy bed (or 2!), plenty of food, and lots of love. She is also discovering the pleasure of scratchers, toys, and treats. She is extremely affectionate and likes nothing better than to curl up in your lap, knead, and purr up a storm. She has very good kitty manners and uses her litter box faithfully. We aren't sure how Penny will be with other cats and dogs. She is in a foster home with other cats, but hasn't been exposed to them yet. If you are looking for a little lovebug, Penny is your girl! Penny is microchipped and currently in a foster home. Her adoption fee is $105.April 10, 2024, 6:36 pm

Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. DOB: 03/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw./

Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Story
Meet Kaleigh and Scrappy! Kaleigh is a beautiful calico with a white coat and the most amazing tabby striped spot on her back. Scrappy is a handsome grey striped tabby. These two are the most amazing cuddlers and the best of friends. They love to snuggle with the family and with each other. Kaleigh is a little shy when meeting new people. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. Scrappy is outgoing and affectionate. They are the best babies ever. Kaleigh and Scrappy were rescued as babies by TPP when they were found with their deceased mother under a deck. They were nursed to health and found a sweet family. Their family loves them dearly and says they are the best cats ever. Unfortunately someone in the family has developed health issues and the doctor is recommending rehoming the cats. They are devastated and have spent months looking for alternatives without success. Story
Poppy Cat came to us very pregnant right before this year's winter storm. She knew she needed to find a place indoors to deliver her kittens and made several appeals to one of our volunteers until we found her a foster and a safe place to start her little family. She gave birth to four beautiful kittens: Alder, Lilac, Posie and Willow, raising them until they were ready to find their own homes. When her kittens went to a different foster home to learn how to be proper little cats, Poppy Cat set about taking the no-more-kittens pledge and is finally ready to find her forever home.  She is very curious about everything and frequently follows her foster parent around the house to ensure she doesn’t get into trouble. She loves playing with toys and other cats but prefers to initiate snuggle times with humans on her schedule. She's very sweet and loving and is still learning who she is as an indoor cat. She will thrive in a relaxed, no-pressure home that patiently and lovingly accepts her for who she is: a fabulous cat. Poppy cat is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. She is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below.
