Story
Meet positively gorgeous Ruby! a beautiful Calico with medium-haired floof, she is a mom who came to the rescue along with her four kittens after being found living on the streets. Currently living in a loving foster home, her foster mom shares that this girl is sweet and talkative. She loves to be by your side.  She enjoys toys, head scratches and curling up on your lap.  A floofy lap cat, what more could you ask for? She will make a great companion.  Ruby does not yet like to be picked up (we know that will come in time) but she will come to you and sit on your lap or right up next to you.  Being close and comfy is her superpower and she is a definite stress-reliever kitty! Her estimated birth date is March 7, 2024. She was barely out of her kitten stage when she had her babies. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2380522##

Story
Little Wendy, or sometimes just called Little or Wendy, is an adorable 8 lbs. of energy. She had a challenging few months - living on the street, boarded at the vet, and adopted for a week(and returned through no fault of her own) before coming to live with her foster mom. Lots of tough transitions in a short period of time. Though fearful at first, she has settled in really well in her new environment and is super playful, affectionate in her unique and sweet way, and loves to be petted. She loves be around her foster mom. This girl enjoys company and just being close by. She flops over on her side or back to say hello when foster mom enters the room.  She adores her little fuzzy ball toys, torn up papers, strings, and catnip. She cajoles and assists her mom into retrieving the balls under the couch that she can't reach. Wendy will spend time looking out at the outside world from the bedroom or living room window for quite a while.  And you can tell she is just happy to be indoors and safe. You'll see her racing up and down the stairs and flying over furniture - a typical one year-old kitty. She is good about using the cat scratching box, too. And, she sleeps quietly throughout the night…enjoys a long snooze. We think Wendy may do best as an only cat. Her estimated birth date is October 29, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2335186##

Story
Meet gorgeous Defender, Fendie, for short. She is the beautiful long-haired Calico mother of the Off-Road Crew litter of four.  She and her kittens came into TMHPR when they were found by a kind soul when this family was living outdoors with this protective mom working hard to keep her little family safe. She is espcially gorgeous with her luxurious fur and vibrant coloring and has a very sweet personality. When she came into the rescue, she had lots of matted clumps in her fur and she began her own mission to fix this issue by pulling out a clump of her hair!  Poor thing. Now she gets brush time daily and she loves it. Her foster mom just needs to pat the couch and Fendie jumps right up for a brushing spa treatment. It is her time to offer up soft purrs and head nudges. Due to her time on the mean streets working to keep everyone safe, she was a bit stressed in the beginning and took refuge under furniture, but now, she is out and about letting her foster family know she loves attention and enjoys being part of the action of a busy foster home!  Her floofy tail and her big whiskers could have their own Facebook or Instagram page. She has raised her four kittens and now she is living her best life as an empty-nester. This beauty would love to find a home of her very own and would prefer being an only cat. Her estimated birth date is November 22, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2410335##

Meet absolutely stunning Pizookie...a Calico beauty. She and her kittens, members of the Cookie litter, came to the rescue after being found outdoors. Barely out of her kitten stage, she had babies of her own and her time on the streets keeping her kittens safe had to be a difficult time for her. Currently living in a loving foster home, she is an empty-nester learnihng all the loveliness of indoor life with kind humans. Her foster mom reports that Pizookie is a confident and independent girl who settles into a new environment easily and enjoys her personal space and a good nap and a good viewing of outside life from the comforts of a comfy home, but,  she loves being nearby people and keeping a quiet presence. While she’s not yet a true cuddler, but good news is that she is always motivated by treats and snacks and we believe that snuggles are in her future once she is settled into a new home! Meet Gumbo, a beautiful Calico girl. She's active, very communicative, will crawl in our laps and snuggle - on her terms. She is confident and good at letting you know what she wants and needs! We think she would do really well with a cat-savvy family who understand how cats communicate. She is very much a Calico with her spunky and assertive approach to life. She would thrive and flourish in a household with other cats. She loves the toy balls to bat about and adores the play tube/tunnel. She likes high places and play wrestling with her brother Bayou. Does like to use the cat tree for scratching….a very nice habit! Her estimated birth date is July 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2156879##

Please keep an eye on your spam folder. Emailed responses often end up in spam folders!  Named after the sleek and stunning wildcat, Ocelot is a tiny tigress with major main-character energy. She’s confident, curious, and loves attention — but also has a soft side when it’s time for cuddles. Equal parts sweet and sassy, she’ll play hard, purr loud, and then curl up on your lap like she owns the place. Ocelot would likely do well in any home environment given proper time and introductions. Ocelot is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. However, she is eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program!  Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Story
Name: SolsticeBirthday: March 31Gender: MaleBreed: Domestic Shorthair (Orange Tabby)Personality: Playful, sweet, affectionate – and such a good boy! Say hello to Solstice, lovingly called chubs, a little orange bundle of joy who’s ready to light up your life! Born on March 31, Solstice has been charming everyone he meets with his playful antics, soft purrs, and heart-melting gaze. From the moment he could walk, Sunny’s days have been filled with chasing toys, climbing to the highest perch he can find, and pouncing on anything that dares to move – even if it’s just a spot of sunshine coming through the window ! He loves to wrestle with his kitten brother, but when playtime is over, he’s quick to snuggle up for a cozy nap. Usually under a window so he can still bird watch when he wakes up.  Solstice isn’t just a playful kitten – he’s also a very good boy. He’s learning quickly, uses his litter box like a champ, and always comes running when he hears a friendly voice or the sound of treats. He has a gentle, loving spirit and a curious mind that makes every day with him a delight. Whether he’s curling up in a sunbeam, chasing after a feather wand, or rubbing his head against your hand for affection, Solstice is always bringing smiles and warmth wherever he goes. Solstice is up to date on all his vaccinations (so far) and microchipped. He'll neutered in a few weeks. He’d thrive in a home where he can get plenty of attention, toys, and love. Bonus points if you have a window where he can birdwatch! Are you ready to welcome this little ray of sunshine into your heart and home? Come meet Solsticr today and see just how sweet and special this little orange boy really is! Solstice is too young to be eligible for a full adoption. Emailed responses often end up in spam folders!  Hey everyone, I'm Hoagie, and I'm a handsome 10-week-old kitten looking for my forever family! Just like my sister, Panini, I'm a really smart cookie. I love to investigate new things and I'm always up for an adventure. You won't find me hiding under the couch—I'm a confident little guy who loves to play and explore! I'm really well-socialized and I get along great with everyone, including the two dogs I live with! But my favorite playmate of all is my sister, Panini. We're littermates and best friends, and we have the best time wrestling and chasing each other around. We're a bonded pair, and we'd be thrilled if we could find a home where we could stay together. Get ready for twice the love and twice the purrs with me and Panini around! Hoagie is too young to be eligible for a full adoption.
