Meet gorgeous and gentle Love Bug! She and her six kittens came to the rescue when a kind person found them. Mama Love Bug is the most loving mama cat ever!  Love Bug is obsessed with cat nip and will turn into a silly puddle with a cat nip toy.  She is ALWAYS close by. Emptying the dishwasher? She’s under it watching. Eating? She’s watching every bite. Working from home? She’s sitting and watching you the whole time. She wants to make sure she knows everything that is going on. Love Bug loves to have full body pets, including tummy rubs!  She will even reach out her paw to gently tap you if you walk away from petting her too soon. This sweet girl has THE most beautiful eyes and her watchful gaze is rather comforting and makes you feel totally connected to her. Barely out of her kitten stage, she had babies of her own and her time on the streets keeping her kittens safe had to be a difficult time for her. Currently living in a loving foster home, she is an empty nester learning all the loveliness of indoor life with kind humans.  She enjoys a cozy spot for a good nap and a good viewing of outside life from the comforts of home.   This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and love, she blossoms into the most loyal and affectionate companion.  While she may not be a full on cuddler just yet, the good news is that she is always motivated by treats and snacks and we believe that being a snuggly lap kitty is in her future.  She gets along with other cats. Sofi is a precious DSH Calico female born approximately 5/29/2025. Sofi, along with her mom, Alice, and brother, Tucker II, was rescued by a good Samaritan who reached out to NBCR for help finding this sweet little family loving forever homes. Sofi loves cuddles and belly rubs. She gets along with other cats, but her favorite is humans. She loves to use her powerful singing voice and purr. Alice and her two kittens, Sofi and Tucker II, were rescued by a good Samaritan who reached out to NBCR for help finding this sweet little family loving forever homes. Alice is a simple cat: she loves pets and cuddling, and she loves having food in her bowl. She'll try to save some of her food for later, just to be sure she has some. Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. Please note: We don’t DNA test our cats. Catelyn is likely just a domestic long hair mix. However, "Maine coon" has become synonymous with long haired cats. If you do further research, you'll find that most cats in the US are made up of a variety of different breeds, and we think Catelyn falls into that category of "vaguely long haired cat that is mistakenly called a Maine Coon her entire life."  Either way, we know she’s 100% cute!  Catelyn is a six-year-old sweetheart with a gentle, friendly personality. She’s spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, and ready to find her forever home. Our next events to meet our pets:  Saturday October 25, 2025 at Half Price Books in Richardson, Texas from 1-3PM 100 S Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080   Meet Enoki, one of our little Mushrooms! This sweet kitten is ready to find her forever home. She love snuggling and playing and would thrive in a variety of homes!  Please note: We don’t DNA test our kittens, but we think Enoki looks like she could be a Maine coon-type mix. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in a foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed.
