Story
Little Wendy, or sometimes just called Little or Wendy, is an adorable 8 lbs. of energy. She had a challenging few months - living on the street, boarded at the vet, and adopted for a week(and returned through no fault of her own) before coming to live with her foster mom. Lots of tough transitions in a short period of time. Though fearful at first, she has settled in really well in her new environment and is super playful, affectionate in her unique and sweet way, and loves to be petted. She loves be around her foster mom. This girl enjoys company and just being close by. She flops over on her side or back to say hello when foster mom enters the room.  She adores her little fuzzy ball toys, torn up papers, strings, and catnip. She cajoles and assists her mom into retrieving the balls under the couch that she can't reach. Wendy will spend time looking out at the outside world from the bedroom or living room window for quite a while.  And you can tell she is just happy to be indoors and safe. You'll see her racing up and down the stairs and flying over furniture - a typical one year-old kitty. She is good about using the cat scratching box, too. And, she sleeps quietly throughout the night…enjoys a long snooze. We think Wendy may do best as an only cat. Her estimated birth date is October 29, 2023. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2335186##

Story
Meet Gumbo, a beautiful Calico girl. She's active, very communicative, will crawl in our laps and snuggle - on her terms. She is confident and good at letting you know what she wants and needs! We think she would do really well with a cat-savvy family who understand how cats communicate. She is very much a Calico with her spunky and assertive approach to life. She would thrive and flourish in a household with other cats. She loves the toy balls to bat about and adores the play tube/tunnel. She likes high places and play wrestling with her brother Bayou. Does like to use the cat tree for scratching….a very nice habit! Her estimated birth date is July 12, 2024. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only. ##2156879##

Story
Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She enjoys pets and quiet time. She would do best in a home that is quiet without a lot of activity and other pets. Gracy was born in a colony, she is the only survivor of her litter. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. She decided that Gracy deserved in indoor loving home. Because of her past, Gracy is a little shy around new people, but is sweet when she gets to know you. Estimated DOB 2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. DOB: 03/01/2022 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. Story
Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Stop before he’s done, and he will nuzzle you till you have changed your mind. Mutt (the cat) is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. Please read the Adoption Process steps below. Story
David, one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back! David’s three passions are cuddling, golf on TV and his brother, Mutt (the cat). More on the TV: he LOVES to watch anything, but sports are his jam. He even has his own spot near the TV so he has a front-row seat! Don’t worry though, he’s not interested IN the TV. He is a very playful and gentle kitty. He can be a bit hesitant at first, but his desire to be loved on always wins out and he turns into the cuddliest love bug. He is very laid-back and goes with the flow. He’ll let you know if you’re in by rolling over to expose his belly for scratches so he can get all of the rubs. David is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. He is litter-box trained and uses cat trees and scratching posts appropriately. We are still accepting applications on this pet. Story
We took Jack-Jack in from a local shelter where he'd been adopted and returned for wanting too much attention. We're just as sad and shocked as you are!   As you can see from his photos, Jack-Jack was literally begging us to help him. How could we say no?  Jack-Jack loves to play and romp around and would love to have a new kitty friend to play with. This super social young man will absolutely win your heart as soon as you meet him!  We're still getting to know Jack-Jack so stay tuned for updates as we get to know him more. So far we've learned that this sweet boy is very playful and LOVES people. Wherever the action is, that's where Jack-Jack wants to be. He has the sweetest little face and would love to be adopted with his friend from the shelter, Purrince Harry, or into a home with another kitty for him to play with.  RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria.
