Meet Lyla. An absolutely gorgeous Calico floof with perfect white paws and bold colors of fur. She was rescued along with her four siblings from a local animal shelter after they were left at the shelter door in a box prior to opening hours. Lyla is a little bit shy around new people, but once she gets comfortable she is super playful and a great hunter! She loves chasing toys and playing with her siblings. She loves to cuddle when you sit or lay down. She will do best with a friendly cat buddy in a new home. Her estimated birth date is October 1, 2023. Meet Calico girl Zelda. She and her three siblings and mom Zinnia were added to the TMHPR adoption program and are affectionately known as the Z litter...all of them have a cute name that starts with a Z. This pretty and petite girl has a unique thing going on - three of her cool Calico legs are orange and the fourth leg is black. So cute. Foster mom shares that Zelda is a typical kitty. Plays with anything. Climbs on cat trees. Chases her siblings. Is a total snuggler and very cuddly. We think she would do best with a cat buddy in a new home. Meet Zinnia, mom of four kittens also available for adoption. Her mom work is done and she is looking for her forever home. Her foster mom shares that this girl is a sweet cat who loves, loves, loves to be with you. She is so calm and did not meow at all when she took a trip to the vet. Meet pretty girl Dorothea who is a member of the Lyric litter. She and her siblings were rescued when they were very young and were bottle-fed by a kind caregiver. She has THE Lloudest purr machine, loves everyone. Is the brave and confident one of the group and pretty much needs to know what everone is doing and what everything is all about. Meet beautiful Calico Marjorie, a member of the Lyric litter. This litter was found by a kind person when they were super young and was bottle-fed. Her foster mom shares that this girl is a snuggly, playful people lover who also enjoys jumping into running showers and loves to drink water from the faucet while taking a half bath. Good with kids, dogs and cats and we think she would do best with a cat or cat-friendly dog byddy in a new home. Her estimated birth date is March 12, 2024. Meet Tiana, a member of the Disney litter. She was rescued along with her siblings after being born outside to a Calico mom. A kind person took her and her siblings off the streets where life is hard, dangerous and scary for kittens. This beautiful Calico girl is sweet, outgoing and friendly. She was one of the first of her litter to emerge from the bushes where her mom was caring for this little family. She joined her brother, Oliver, on a recent adventure around the house when they made the great escape from their well-appointed foster room in their current foster home and she seemed confident and curious about this new bigger world. She had no reaction to Ben, the 55 pound resident English Shepherd, and she gave Mars, one of the resident cats, the space he desires. She’s a well-balanced, sweet, curious, athletic cat who is happy playing and chasing toys and is also content to be sitting in her foster mom's lap. Taylor is a beautiful DSH Calico female born approximately 9/12/2021. Paging all Calico fans! Meet Taylor, the queen of sass and shoulder-perching extraordinaire! With a voice that could rival a diva and a passion for grooming her human subjects, she's always ready to make her presence known. Food-motivated and full of energy, she's a whirlwind of playful antics and unexpected nips. Trainable? Maybe. Entertaining? Absolutely. Just be prepared for a little sass and the occasional love bite!  Taylor enjoys watching the goings-on outside her foster room window. She also loves to snuggle up close at nap time. She prefers to drink water by finding a faucet with a drip, but she's never messy. She is very independent and low maintenance - good at keeping herself entertained.  According to her foster, Taylor is a bit of a nut - a funny girl with LOTS of purr-sonality! Meet Cleo! Cleo "Cleopatra" is a beautiful cat with big green eyes who is shy but affectionate when she warms up to anyone. She has a little cut on her right tip of her ear from when she was living in the streets. Her favorite spot to be scratched is her chin. Cleo is both shy and curious about her surroundings. But once she feels safe and comfortable she makes herself home and lays around. Cleo was found in a parking lot and after few head scratches she instantly felt comfortable to be around me where she could be pick up. The vet put her over the age of 1 years old. Cleo is such a smart and loving that she deserves the best instead of being in the streets. Meet Gracy! Gracy is a beautiful dilute tortie. She has absolutely stunning golden eyes and the cutest pink nose. Not to mention her marking are beautiful Gracy is sweet and gentle. She was initially going to be a TNR. However, she showed up wounded probably at the hands of a not nice human and her caretaker brought her in and got veterinary care. Meet Zhara! Zhara is a stunning calico with unusual marking on her face. She has an beautiful black nose and a little red mustache. Zhara is sweet and affectionate toward her human friends. Meet Kaleigh and Scrappy! Kaleigh is a beautiful calico with a white coat and the most amazing tabby striped spot on her back. Scrappy is a handsome grey striped tabby. These two are the most amazing cuddlers and the best of friends. They love to snuggle with the family and with each other. Kaleigh is a little shy when meeting new people. She loves to cuddle and snuggle. Scrappy is outgoing and affectionate. They are the best babies ever. Kaleigh and Scrappy were rescued as babies by TPP when they were found with their deceased mother under a deck. They were nursed to health and found a sweet family. Meet Mae Mae! Mae Mae is a beautiful calico! She has the cuties white toes and chin. Mae Mae is sweet and affectionate. She loves to play with wand toys and adores cat nip. She isn't fond of being picked up, but enjoys cuddling. She is especially fond of sleeping with her people. Mae Mae and her kittens were left in a box at a local PetSmart. All her kittens have been adopted and now it is her turn. Mutt (the cat), one of the Schitt’s Creek kittens, was brought to a caring volunteer by his mom, a community cat. She was given a warm, safe place to raise her kittens inside and this little man has never looked back after is brother, David said it was OK! He absolutely loves his brother, David and enjoys spending his days cuddling in boxes and baskets with him. Don’t let his lounging ways fool you though; he is very playful and will demand cuddles and pets. If he isn’t getting enough attention, he will let you know that he needs TWO hands to pet him! Gorgeous Lorelei was relinquished to Collin County Animal Shelter extremely pregnant. Knowing she was very young, RHS took her in so she could have her kittens in a loving and safe environment. Little did we know the next day she would become a mother to five babies!! She was the best mother any kitten could ask for, although she was very inexperienced. She has the most silky soft silver-gray coat that you’ll just want to pet. She absolutely loves human attention, but can become over-stimulated sometimes, so she needs to be in a home with a family that has experience with particular kitties. She has lived with a few dogs and decided they are not her speed, but she would do well with a quiet, passive cat as she is very dominant.  Sadly, momma cats are often left behind and have to wait months if not longer to find their perfect home.
