Needs special attention,

Story

Sweet Eeyore may have a quiet, thoughtful way about her, but she has plenty of love waiting for the right person. Like some of her feline friends, she's looking for someone who will give her the time, patience, and kindness she needs to feel safe and comfortable.Eeyore came from a home with many cats, and she's used to having feline friends around. She has also tested positive for regressive FeLV (feline leukemia virus). Regressive FeLV means the virus is present in her body but is not currently actively multiplying. Cats with regressive FeLV can live happily for years, although their health should be monitored and they may need extra veterinary care if they become unwell. Because FeLV can spread between cats through close, prolonged contact, Eeyore needs to be the only cat in her new home, unless she is adopted with other FeLV-positive cats from her group.Eeyore could potentially find her forever home alongside Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Rhinestone, Jolene, or Parton - familiar faces who already share her FeLV status. There's something pretty special about giving a whole group of friends the chance to stay together. Eeyore is also regrowing her coat after a flea infestation, so her beautiful fur is still making its comeback. She may be a little bit of a work in progress right now, but she's every bit as deserving of a loving home and a cozy place to call her own. Her ideal home will be indoor-only, with someone who understands that she may need a little time to settle in and who is prepared to keep up with regular veterinary care. In return, Eeyore has the chance to enjoy all the simple things cats love: soft beds, sunny windows, tasty treats, gentle attention, and a person to call her own. Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Dereck is a breathtakingly handsome medium-haired gentleman with a cloud-soft coat, soulful eyes, and one irresistibly adorable feature: his tiny tongue is almost always peeking out! After undergoing an extensive dental procedure that left him with only a few teeth, Dereck has perfected the art of looking perpetually cute without even trying. While his dental days are behind him and he's feeling much more comfortable, his signature blep has become part of his charm. This sweet boy is on the shy side and takes a little time to feel safe in new surroundings, but beneath his cautious exterior is a gentle, loving cat who just wants a quiet place to call home. Once he learns he can trust you, Dereck enjoys being near his people and will reward your patience with soft companionship and his calm, comforting presence. Because of his sensitive nature and medical history, Dereck is looking for an indoor-only home where he can stay safe, healthy, and spoiled as he deserves. Needs special attention,

Story

Meet Ironhide - A Quiet Gentleman Looking for His Safe PlaceIronhide may not be the first cat to run up and introduce himself, but underneath that nervous exterior is a sweet boy who is looking for someone willing to let him take things at his own pace. This handsome fellow is a regressively FeLV-positive cat. That means his immune system has controlled the virus so that it is not currently actively replicating in his bloodstream. Cats with regressive FeLV are not considered actively infectious while the infection remains regressive, although the virus can potentially reactivate in the future. Because of Ironhide's FeLV status, he will need to be the only cat in his home, or he can be adopted with another cat who also has regressive FeLV. His feline freinds in shelter that are also FELV regressive are Optimus Prime, Eeyore, Jolene, or Rhinestone.DON'T let the FeLV label scare you away from this special boy. Ironhide is simply looking for a home that understands his needs and is willing to give him the time and patience he deserves. He may need a little while to feel comfortable, but once he knows he's safe, we hope he'll discover that life can be pretty wonderful. A quiet home, a cozy bed, some gentle encouragement, and a person who understands that trust takes time could be exactly what Ironhide needs. If you're looking for a handsome little soul who needs someone to believe in him, Ironhide could be your guy.
