Story
If you’re looking for a relaxed snuggle bug with a HUGE purr who would rather snooze than wreak havoc, this little lap warmer may be your next forever friend. June is very human-social and wants to spend most of her time cuddled up with her people. She sometimes meows at closed doors. June loves to meet new human friends of all ages. She is very tolerant of dogs and could adjust to a home with a cat who is respectful of her space but would prefer not to live with kittens or very playful adult cats. She is used to supervised outside time in a sheltered environment but could adjust to an indoor lifestyle if given lots of attention. Since she is 13, June prophylactically eats Hill’s K/D kidney kibble, which has kept her kidney values perfect. Like almost all cats, she has feline herpes, which is non-transmissible to humans or dogs and does not affect her other than some discharge from one eye. She is otherwise healthy. She is being rehomed due to her human’s allergies (despite shots).

Story
These sweet girls were littermates and are a bonded pair. They NEED to remain together. They are skittish with new people, loud noises, and other types of 'chaos', but I am sure that a patient caregiver would enjoy their affectionate sides. They would make perfect companions for seniors, as they love a predictable home routine. For example, they currently enjoy nightly treats hidden around the house like Easter eggs. Scintilla has the orange in her forehead 'M.' She is the most curious of the two and will likely be first to sniff your hand or explore the new terrain. Purrpetuity is more affectionate and most likely to become your lap cat. Earning their trust will be of utmost importance at first, but totally worth it. I am heartbroken to have to rehome them, but my family has had a recent cancer diagnosis, forcing changes to my living situation.

Story
Mr. Peaky has been under my mom’s feet for about 12 years. He was less than a year old when adopted. Unfortunately, my mom’s health is failing and she needs to move to a memory care facility. They should allow pets. :( Peaky is timid in the beginning, but loves to be loved. His not-so-gentle head butts to your hand will absolutely keep you petting him. It’s his happy place. Big purrs! We’ve recently found that Peaky is very fond of catnip joints! 😂😂😂 Yes! You read that correctly! In the last month, Peaky has developed diabetes. He does not need insulin at this time.

Story
Chibi is a domestic shorthair brown tabby, he is just under 2 years old. He was adopted from Dakin humane society where he was neutered/microchipped/has some shots but is probably due for boosters (I have the paperwork which has the specifics). He has been raised in a home with another cat/small children and he is great with both. He is VERY playful, energetic and vocal, he gets the zoomies which is hilarious to watch. He loves toys, catnip and human food (he's sneaky and will steal from your plate if you're not careful) !! He likes to play fetch/chase treats if you throw them for him. He is an indoor cat but loves to watch the birds from the window and he is litterbox trained/never had any accidents. He is also a total lover boy and snuggle bug. He can be shy around new people but I think he would do great in any home as long as there is a proper introduction period.

Story
Meet Marmalade! A wise and whimsical eleven-year-old Domestic Medium Hair currently in Harvard, MA, whose orange and white tabby coat glows as warmly as her soft, pigeon-like purrs. With her plush fur, gentle heart, and soulful eyes, Marmalade is the kind of feline companion who turns quiet afternoons into moments of comfort and calm. Despite her senior status, Marmalade is still light on her paws, she loves nothing more than batting her catnip-stuffed squirrel across the wood floor, chasing it with surprising agility! If the toy happens to tumble down the stairs, she’ll dutifully retrieve it like a true champion of squirrel rescue. Her playful spirit adds a dash of charm to every day, and her favorite time to unwind is curled up at the foot of the bed, where she softly purrs herself, and maybe you, into a peaceful nap. Marmalade is affectionate on her own terms, and her favorite spots for scratches are the top of her head, her chin, and her lower back. She may request attention with a head bump or a soft meow, but she’s also a gal who values her space and appreciates caregivers who understand feline finesse. She’s eats heartily and still maintains her own grooming with the poise of a true queen! Health-wise, Marmalade is currently on a kidney-supportive diet after some recent lab results showed slightly elevated proBNP and a lower than normal urine specific gravity. While she’s not on any medication and remains lively, she may benefit from future care with a specialist to ensure she continues to thrive. Having lived in a quiet environment for much of her life, Marmalade would truly shine in a calm, cat-only home with no dogs or young children. She’s looking for a compassionate, attentive pet parent who has the time to play, the heart to love, and the resources to support her unique needs. In return, she offers peaceful companionship, the sweetest purrs, and the joy of watching a once-reserved cat bloom in a home filled with warmth. Story
Meet Pepper and Salt! An affectionate, bonded pair of six-year-old Domestic Long Hair sisters currently in Hellertown, PA, whose gentle hearts and plush gray tabby coats are as perfectly matched as their names. These medium-sized beauties, each weighing around 15 pounds, have spent their entire lives side by side, forming a loving duo that brings double the charm and twice the purrs! These social butterflies adore human companionship and will happily trail behind you like tiny, fuzzy shadows. Whether you're folding laundry or binge-watching your favorite show, Pepper and Salt want in on the action, and they’re not shy about letting you know! Vocal and expressive, they'll meow sweetly to get your attention, especially when it's time for cuddles, play, or mealtime. Pepper is the more reserved of the pair, taking a little extra time to adjust to new surroundings and people but with a gentle approach and a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loving companion who melts into your arms. Once she feels safe, Pepper is just as affectionate as her sister, offering soft purrs and cozy cuddles that make every moment sweeter! Salt, with her endearing white diamond marking between her eyes, is the bolder of the two. Quick to bond and always eager for snuggles, often the first to curl up beside you or hop into your lap. Together, they’re a cuddly, purring powerhouse that brings warmth to any room. These girls are playful and delight in laser pointer chases, batting at little toys, and bird-watching from sunny windows. One of their most charming quirks? When they knead, they’ll lovingly nibble on blankets or clothes, a sweet little habit that’s become their signature cuddle move! Spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, Pepper and Salt are also on a special diet for sensitive stomachs and do best with regular grooming, especially in their fluffy rear areas. They’ve been around both small and large dogs, as well as kids of all ages, and handle busy households with grace. However, they would thrive most in a cat-free home with a caring guardian who can offer consistent attention and gentle grooming. Ready to welcome double the love into your life? Could your heart and home be the perfect place for these cuddly chatterboxes to land next? To learn more or take the next step, reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com!
