Story
Tigger was brought into my home as an intended keeper cat, unfortunately due to costs rising I am in need to downsize, I am keeping all of my elderly and special needs but rehoming those who will thrive in a new home. He is approximately 3 years old, he’s a love! He will just come squish you, all 20 pounds of him. He’s tolerant of children but prefers they are quiet, if they scream he will leave. He’s lived in a multi pet household, he uses the litter box without issue and has lived inside his entire life.

Story
🧶Lucy is adorable, playful, sometimes shy, and very gentle—like a kitten in a sweet 5-year-old body. She’s been the love of our lives. She snuggles with her brother but is uncomfortable with our older cat, so she may do best as an only cat or in a home with people around more, a steady routine, or even a mostly-outdoor/unique setup. 🐈‍⬛ Her challenge is occasional peeing outside the litter box. The vet believes it’s behavioral—loneliness, late meals, or territorial stress. She has her own box for pee, cleaned daily, and uses it, mostly reliably. She’s had a couple mild UTIs that respond well to meds, sometimes with a spot of blood, but further tests are costly. (Less than 1x/ year) 🐾She & her brother Merlin are secure together. we’re open to rehoming them as a pair. We aren’t home as much now, and while she uses her box most of the time, it's hard to manage with us gone a lot. We adore her and hope she finds a home that fits her needs. Ideally someone who can cover vet bills.

Story
Meet Oscar! A gentle seven-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently in Glenside, PA, whose butterscotch-orange and white tabby coat is only rivaled by the warmth of his personality. Oscar is the perfect blend of mellow and mischievous! A large, lovable feline who’s been charming everyone around him since his days of watching the world from a windowsill. One of his favorite pastimes? Birdwatching! He'll spend hours gazing through the glass, chattering away at birds and squirrels like he’s narrating his own nature documentary. And just when things seem calm, Oscar springs into action with delightful zoomies around the house, complete with cheerful chirps and amusing vocalizations that make his caregivers laugh every time. At 13 pounds of purring affection, Oscar is not only big in size but in heart. He shares a special bond with the resident dog and is known for his gentle friendliness toward visitors and loved ones. While he can be a bit shy with other cats at first, give him time and you’ll find a playful and even rambunctious side emerge, especially if there's a catnip toy involved! Oscar is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped, making him more than ready for a smooth transition into a new loving home. He thrives in quiet spaces and would do best with an experienced cat guardian who can appreciate his mix of easygoing cuddles and spontaneous silliness. Whether he’s lounging in a sunbeam or serenading a squirrel, Oscar is a soulful companion ready to bring warmth, humor, and a few chirps into your life! Looking to share your window seat, and your heart, with a charming tabby who loves a good squirrel stakeout and a peaceful cuddle session? Oscar might just be the purr-fect match you’ve been waiting for! Could your home be the one where Oscar’s next chapter begins? Story
Meet Cali! A serene nine-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently living in Glenside, PA, who carries the quiet grace of a gentle protector wrapped in a soft, tabby coat. Born in July 2016, this medium-sized senior sweetheart is all about calm companionship, heartfelt purrs, and soaking in the peaceful moments of life. Cali has always been the steady one among her sisters, the watchful guardian who takes her role seriously. She may not be the first to demand attention, but when you offer a soft pet or a cozy spot to sit beside you, her affectionate side comes through in warm purrs and soulful eyes. She's incredibly low-maintenance, enjoys a peaceful routine, and would thrive in a loving home where quiet time is just as valued as companionship. This lovely girl starts her day with a splash of milk (she’ll be waiting!) and appreciates her two cans of food daily. Dry food and fresh water are always available, of course, but Cali’s favorite thing might just be curling up with someone who makes her feel safe. While her days of leaping after feather wands are mostly behind her, she still appreciates a toy with a bell and the occasional sunbeam for napping. Cali is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s had some dental care including the removal of a couple of back teeth, but she’s in good health and simply needs a calm, caring home to enjoy her golden years. Her caregiver is willing to assist with veterinary expenses and will send her along with a stash of her favorite canned food. Cali would thrive in a tranquil environment with a compassionate pet parent ready to give her the security and affection she needs. And while she’s ready to find her own loving home, she’d be overjoyed if you’d consider adopting her along with her bonded sisters, Avery and Lexi, they've spent a lifetime together and she'd be happiest with them by her side! Could Cali be the peaceful companion your heart's been missing? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about welcoming Cali home!

Story
Meet Avery, Cali, and Lexi! A devoted trio of nine-year-old Domestic Short Hair sisters currently living in Glenside, PA, whose calm affection and gentle spirits have been woven together since kittenhood in July 2016. These lovely tabby ladies are the very definition of lifelong friendship. Avery is the conversationalist of the group, she’ll meow softly for her morning milk or a little extra love. Cali is the quiet guardian, always nearby and ready with a reassuring purr during cuddle time. Lexi is a tender soul who may need a little more time to feel safe, but once she does, her affection runs deep and true. Though they’re now enjoying their golden years, the sisters still indulge in lighthearted games, especially when bells or spotlight toys are involved! They sleep curled up together like a purring puzzle of warmth and comfort, often in a cozy pile that makes your heart melt. Their mornings begin with a shared sip of milk, and they enjoy two cans of food a day with plenty of dry food and fresh water always available. Each cat has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. While they’ve had a few dental procedures (a couple of back teeth removed), they’re otherwise in great health and simply need regular senior cat care. Their current caregiver is kindly offering help with veterinary expenses and would love to keep in touch if possible, though that’s completely negotiable depending on what works best for their new family. These sisters are bonded through and through, so a home that welcomes all three together is a must! They’re timid at first with other cats, respectful around dogs, and friendly with children, making them compatible with many types of families. As long as it’s a quiet, loving environment where they can grow old side-by-side. Can you imagine the joy of having three lifelong friends gently purring their way into your heart and home? Reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com to learn more about Avery, Cali, and Lexi!

Story
Meet Marmalade! A wise and whimsical eleven-year-old Domestic Medium Hair currently in Harvard, MA, whose orange and white tabby coat glows as warmly as her soft, pigeon-like purrs. With her plush fur, gentle heart, and soulful eyes, Marmalade is the kind of feline companion who turns quiet afternoons into moments of comfort and calm. Despite her senior status, Marmalade is still light on her paws, she loves nothing more than batting her catnip-stuffed squirrel across the wood floor, chasing it with surprising agility! If the toy happens to tumble down the stairs, she’ll dutifully retrieve it like a true champion of squirrel rescue. Her playful spirit adds a dash of charm to every day, and her favorite time to unwind is curled up at the foot of the bed, where she softly purrs herself, and maybe you, into a peaceful nap. Marmalade is affectionate on her own terms, and her favorite spots for scratches are the top of her head, her chin, and her lower back. She may request attention with a head bump or a soft meow, but she’s also a gal who values her space and appreciates caregivers who understand feline finesse. She’s eats heartily and still maintains her own grooming with the poise of a true queen! Health-wise, Marmalade is currently on a kidney-supportive diet after some recent lab results showed slightly elevated proBNP and a lower than normal urine specific gravity. While she’s not on any medication and remains lively, she may benefit from future care with a specialist to ensure she continues to thrive. Having lived in a quiet environment for much of her life, Marmalade would truly shine in a calm, cat-only home with no dogs or young children. She’s looking for a compassionate, attentive pet parent who has the time to play, the heart to love, and the resources to support her unique needs. In return, she offers peaceful companionship, the sweetest purrs, and the joy of watching a once-reserved cat bloom in a home filled with warmth.
