Story
Meet Cali! Cali arrived at Berkshire Humane Society through our Community Cat Program and was deemed a friendly stray. Because of this, we don`t have a history on her, but she presents as a sweet, quiet, laid-back and affectionate cat! She doesn`t seem bothered by the other cats, so it`s likely she would be fine to go to a home with other cats, through a slow introductory period. The staff also feel she may be fine to live with children aged 10+ years. If you think you`d like to provide Cali with a safe and loving home, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak to our feline staff directly. Story
This handsome and shy boy is Ziggy. Ziggy previously lived with adults only, and due to his shy and quiet nature, it would be best if he didn`t live with children. Ziggy likes to be held and will sleep cuddled up with you. It may take a bit of patience and time to get him to that point, but once you do, he is extremely affectionate. So much so, he`ll actually drool over chin rubs! Ziggy is good with other cats and has lived with a dog, so a home with a cat-savvy dog would be best. If you have the time and love to provide Ziggy with just what he`s looking for, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak to our feline staff directly. Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby is a laid-back lady looking to be the queen of the castle. Having arrived here from a busy household, this green-eyed beauty is hoping for a quieter home without other cats or dogs. Ruby is a very friendly and sweet girl who would do best with teens and older. She loves her people, but can become a bit shy when strangers visit. Although shy to start, once she comes out of her shell, she`s truly a lovely girl with a dog-like personality who will follow you around. She also enjoys finding toys and amusing herself with them! Ruby will need to be on a strict dietary regimen as she could stand to lose a few pounds. If you have the purr-fect home she`s hoping for, please fill out a cat adoption application and speak with our feline staff directly. *Special needs -- please speak with our feline staff.
