Story
We have had Elwood since he was a kitten. He was born in 2008 and well loved in his life story so far. He unfortunately has diabetes but has been very steady on his 1unit of insulin 2x a day. He is affectionate and mostly low energy. Sometimes he will get the zoomies. Due to being elderly and diabetic we understand it is challenging to rehome this cat. We are looking to rehome because we have had some surprise health issues come up for us personally and arent able to take care of a pet for much longer. He is a sweet soul and this is a last resort, but maybe there is a sweet and kind new home for him.

Story
Baker and Bryson are 5-month-old brothers looking for a patient, understanding home where they can continue to build confidence together. These boys share a strong bond and must be adopted as a pair.Bryson, the longhaired orange boy, is the more outgoing of the two. While still cautious at first, he is quicker to relax and shows his sweet side sooner — especially when spoken to softly. Once comfortable, he’ll purr and lean into gentle attention.Baker, the shorthaired brother, is the shyer half of the duo. He tends to hang back and observe before deciding things are safe. Fast movements or direct approaches can make him retreat, but with quiet voices and patience, he begins to settle and show his softer side. Both boys will often run away when approached by humans right now, but when they feel safe and calm, they purr happily and respond well to gentle interaction. They are sensitive kittens who need time and understanding, not pressure. We are hopeful that with consistency and a predictable environment, they will continue gaining confidence and may one day become the kind of companions who nap on the couch next to their people. While we can’t guarantee that outcome, the potential is absolutely there. What They NeedA calm, patient, cat-experienced homeAdopters who understand shy or undersocialized kittensA predictable environment where they can progress at their own paceThey can live with other cats, but they must go home togetherBaker and Bryson are not instant lap kittens — they are a pair you grow with. For the right family, watching them slowly come out of their shells will be the most rewarding part of the journey.
