Mr. Lash was found as a stray and Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. I was found before the blizzard and brought to the shelter. I look similar to the shelter house cat 8Ball. Since we share the same shelter room, I was named QBall. When I came in, I was very thin. My blood work showed that I am hyperthyroid. I am now on medication and have begun to have a hearty appetite. Shelter staff are hoping that I do not have to spend my days in a cage as I regain my strength. A foster home or a family wanting to adopt me would be a special gift for me. The Friends of the Taunton Animal Care Facility will medically support my medical needs. I do need to be the only pet.
