Hi there! My name’s Lexie and I’m a two year old, long-hair with the cutest owl eyes you’ve ever seen! While I’m not the brightest bulb in the bunch, I love to play, and am the perfect companion to follow you around wherever you go. Meowing and trilling the entire time, by the way! When I’m not pouncing on springs or chasing laser pointers, I enjoy a good lay down on any all surfaces. Especially so if it’s right next to my foster moms and has a view of the window! Despite how effortlessly pretty I may seem, these good looks aren’t always easy! I have so much fur that sometimes I need a little extra help to keep my coat extra fluffy and soft. Greetings! I’m Billie and I’m a lovely, six year old short-hair with a wealth of personality. I may technically be middle aged, but you’d never know it! I have a gorgeously sleek coat, and enough energy to keep up with any cat half my age! I’m not the most playful, but I love to explore and have thoroughly searched every nook and cranny of my foster home. While I’m a little shy at first, and do need my alone time, I really do love to cuddle! Specifically on my moms’ chest right by their faces or next to them in bed, right where I can see them! This is of course as long as it’s my idea. I’ll tolerate being held, but it’s not my favorite. If you really want to get on my good side, there’s nothing that will get me purring faster than being brushed! One time I even knocked my brush off the table just so I could rub against it! She came from a broken, abusive home where a child broke her tail. She arrived at my house as a baby, skittish and scared. Now she's almost 15 years old. She's not a lap cat, and she used to be aggressive, but then I got her fixed, and now she's a whole different cat. She's loving, but it takes her a while to warm up. She's not good with kids, and normally will run and hide if anyone new comes into the house. She is very loving and looks for attention when she gets to know you, which doesn't take very long. She has some sort of PTSD! Other than that, I wouldn't say it's a good idea to pick her up, but she looks for love and will come to get pets from you. She definitely favors women over men. I have two teenage boys, and she loves them, so maybe not all men. But if any man walks into my house, she'll run and hide and won't come near them for a while. She has hyperthyroidism and I can’t afford it anymore!
