Story
Jerry is a male DSH tuxedo cat. He is a big-cheeked, big-hearted boy who lives to have his head rubbed. Get just the right spot, and he will really lean into you. He can be a little shy at first and needs a lot of time to adjust to being in a new home, but all he really wants is to feel safe enough to love and be loved in return. Jerry would do well in a home with another cat and older, respectful children; we do not know at this time how he would do with dogs in the home.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Gazpacho is an adorable, soft, and sensitive man with big eyes and a big heart. He has a fuzzy, grumpy face on the outside, but a gentle and compassionate personality on the inside. He may need to be shown some extra compassion and patience to begin with, but once trust is established he looks forward greatly to your companionship and will climb in your lap to receive affection. He loves head rubs and when you speak to him in a loving voice. He has shown a more reserved nature in shelter, but in the comfort of your warm home, is likely to blossom into his true self and display all of his charms and preferences once he has settled in. Okay with cats, older kids, not good with dogs. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Mystic is an adult, female, domestic short haired all-black cat.Mystique is a majestic and graceful black beauty who is graced with poise and a piercing gaze worth of her name. She carries herself like a queen of shadows, with the greatest self-respect, and can on occasion be a sensitive soul who requires respect and patience from her perspective worshipers. She is cautiously curious about treats, toys and playing, like a queen who wants to play but without losing her regal baring. Once she is assured you will only admire and adore her, she is pleased to play and bestow her affection upon you. She is particularly good at greeting you, leading you to your daily duties, and rewarding you with her love and approval. Mystique would do best in a quiet home, with other cats and quiet, respectful children. We are unsure currently how she would do with dogs. Story
Frisk is a senior female calico cat. She is very people-friendly, with a calm personality and a preference for a quiet, low-energy home. She loves to sit and sleep in your lap, purring softly and grateful for the company. A sensitive soul, Frisk prefers to make the first move and to be given time to acclimate to new places and people. A loyal and loving companion, her human is her best friend. The easiest way to her heart is a warm lap, and patient and calm attitude, and lots of tasty kitty treats. Frisk would do best in a home where she is the only pet - she is used to being the only cat in the home, and isn't fond of dogs. She would do well in a home with children who are older and respectful. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Amira is a female brown and white tabby cat. A shy, sensitive girl, Amira prefers a quiet, low-energy home where she can feel safe to explore and feel comfortable in her home. She enjoys the company of people when she's in the mood to seek them out, and loves to climb up into a warm lap to snuggle in for a lazy afternoon. While she enjoys feathered and rolling toys, she would prefer a window full of birds to watch. Tasty treats are a favorite, and she'll come prancing in when calls once she feels comfortable in her home. She would do best in a home with other cats; we do not know how she would do with children or dogs in the home.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Thor is a male domestic short haired grey tabby. How are they with other cats? - GoodHow are they with dogs? - Likely if they are very cat friendlyHow are they with kids? - Okay, if they are respectful; 8 years old+ onlyThor is one of those super social cats who absolutely loves people and prefers to spend his time with his best human friend. He possesses a sweet, curious nature, and is currently our volunteer in-residence greeter in the Cat & Dog supervisor office at the shelter. Thor is a little on the chonky side, and will need some help with weight loss management. He also has some minor urinary issues due to hematuria - meaning he has bladder leaks when he's stressed or surprised. Because of this, he needs a calm, quiet home. While he does do well with other cats, is comfortable with cat-friendly dogs, and likes children, it would be better for him to be in a home with adult people only, to avoid stressing him out too much. Don't let this discourage you, though - Thor is one of the sweetest cats, and is very much looking forward to finding his fur-ever home!TO APPLY for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. You cannot apply for this pet through PetFinder; please visit www.ucspca.org/how-to-adopt/available-cats/.
