Story
Lyle is a sensitive, gentle, shy, and independent all-black DSH boy that grows to enjoy time with his people once they have shown him patience and respectful interactions, and he is ready for you to become his favorite, trusted, person that he sits with, watches, and accompanies through life while snuggling in their lap or with them in bed from time to time. While he is a well-behaved gentleman, he is still young and athletic, and can get down with lasers and other toys for playtime once he is settled into his new home. If Lyle were a person, he would be a timid and mysterious loner, but he also has a heart of gold and only wants happiness and health for everyone in his world. Okay with cats, older kids, unsure dogs. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
Thor is a male domestic short haired grey tabby. How are they with other cats? - GoodHow are they with dogs? - Likely if they are very cat friendlyHow are they with kids? - Okay, if they are respectful; 8 years old+ onlyThor is one of those super social cats who absolutely loves people and prefers to spend his time with his best human friend. He possesses a sweet, curious nature, and is currently our volunteer in-residence greeter in the Cat & Dog supervisor office at the shelter. Thor is a little on the chonky side, and will need some help with weight loss management. He also has some minor urinary issues due to hematuria - meaning he has bladder leaks when he's stressed or surprised. Because of this, he needs a calm, quiet home. While he does do well with other cats, is comfortable with cat-friendly dogs, and likes children, it would be better for him to be in a home with adult people only, to avoid stressing him out too much. Don't let this discourage you, though - Thor is one of the sweetest cats, and is very much looking forward to finding his fur-ever home!TO APPLY for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. You cannot apply for this pet through PetFinder; please visit www.ucspca.org/how-to-adopt/available-cats/. Story
Mittens is a very sensitive soul that enjoys lounging in a peaceful, quiet environment. She can often be found curled up in a snuggle cubby, relaxing and enjoying her alone time. In the comfort of the right home, her full personality will likely blossom and she will thrive. Mittens is sure to be greatly devoted to you once you gain her loyalty and trust - she will look to you to feel safe her in home and respond to your moods and emotions. When you need comfort, she will be there; when you're stressed, she will sense it; when you're happy and calm, she will be equally relaxed. She would like to be the only animal in your home, so that she can receive the full, unadulterated love and companionship that she deserves. Mittens would do best in a home without kids or dogs; we are unsure about the company of other cats.To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture.
