Totally gorgeous TABBY! With her piercing green eyes and beautiful stripes, she is definitely a pretty cat. And her whiskers are impressive! TABBY is a gentle girl and curious girl. She wants to see what you are up to, but prefers to get to know you from afar. After an hour or so she often decides you have passed her test and will let you meet her properly. Once you are friends, she will arch her back and ask for pets. TABBY has some good kitty friends that she likes to snuggle with, so she could be a good option for a household that already has cats. She was born in 2016. We know shy cats do not show well to potential adopters, but they still have so much love to give to the people they bond with.

Story
Hi! My name is Gidget! I came to MHAA several years ago with my kittens. They have all been adopted and I'm still waiting for my home. I am super sweet, very curious and love treats. I love other cats and will feel most comfortable in a home with others. I also spent time in a foster home so I am much more comfortable with people too. I am looking for a calm and quiet home with an owner who will give me time to settle in. You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only). For more information, please contact Mid Hudson Animal Aid at (845) 831-4321 or send an email to sheltermanager@midhudsonanimalaid.org. Story
Hi! My name is Eric. I arrived at MHAA with my mother, Kitty, after a good Samaritan found and cared for us when we were strays. I am a bit shy at first but I warm up quickly, and if you offer me some yummy treats I will be your best friend and let you give me lots of pets and love! I enjoy wand toys and chasing a laser pointer, and I also love playing with other cats. Kitty and I have a special mother-son bond and we need to be adopted together, so we can give you twice as much love! You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only). Story
Hi! My name is Curie! I am a very sweet cat who arrived at MHAA a while ago with my four kittens. I had surgery to remove one of my eyes but I can see just fine with my other eye! I was adopted but then got lost outdoors for a few years, I'm not sure how it happened. Thankfully I made my way back to the shelter and am now looking for a new forever home! I may seem shy at first but I warm up quickly and soon will be purring and rubbing on your hand, especially if you offer me some treats! You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only). Hi! My name is Ms. Duchess. I am a beautiful and sweet mom and I raised my kittens in a wonderful foster home, and now it's my turn to find a forever home! I can be a bit shy at first but I warm up quickly, especially when you offer me some treats, and you can pet me while I enjoy eating them! I love it when you use the wand toy to play with me, and I also have fun on my own kicking and chasing toy balls around the room - I look like a champion soccer player! I am closely bonded with my friend Ronaldo. We would need to be adopted together so that we have a friend for life. You can come and see me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12 - 4pm, no appointment needed.
