We have had Stevie since she was a little kitten. She is a SUPER sweet cat. She loves pets, but isn’t much of a cuddler. She doesn’t like to be held either! She isn’t mean about it, but she will jump down. She is pretty independent, and spends most of the day to herself.. she typically comes around at night for a few pre-bed time pets. The only reason we are looking to rehome her is because she has been pretty nervous around our other cats recently. She seems super uneasy, and we have tried everything to help calm her down with no luck. She would do best in a house with no other cats!

Story

Oak is very chill, she loves to sleep in a warm window, she will come to you when she wants cuddles. She doesn’t bite but will put her mouth on you in a frisky love way. Her and food are one. She loves the outdoors, we let her out on sunny days and watch her. She has always come when we call. She has grown up around dogs they aren’t her buddies by any means but she doesn’t hate them and will keep her distance. With other cats she does get territorial as they all do, but she needs her own litterbox! She’s a purring machine who could sleep on your lap for hours. Oakley is a goof she doesn’t play much but on occasion with some cat nip she puts on a show. I truly think Oakley would do best in a childless home. She has never been around them and with her being so laid back I don’t think it would be in her best interest. But I’ve never brought her around them so who knows. Basically all this girl needs is a warm bed, food and cuddles. With the occasional cat nip

However, our kitties who were vetted before this change are still adoption fee free. Lovie is a sweet girl, very easy going and laid back. Gets on okay with other kitties, but doesn’t form “friendships”. Her only buddy is Snuggles her daughter, who is finally becoming less dependent, giving Lovie the opportunity to be adopted on her own and not as a pair. Lovie needs a home where she can go outside once in a while under supervised condition’s. She slips outside when the door is open, but then waits to be pricked up and brought back in. She likes to run up a tree and then comes down like a squirrel. You will need to submit an adoption application before discussing adopting this pretty girl into your home.
