Story
Add some ‘purr’ to your life, with cutie boy, Burr! This sweet chubby cheek boy is as snuggly as they come. He loves to curl up with you, purr his little heart out, and be your bedtime buddy. At night especially, he’s the best cuddle partner around. He’s also super talkative and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day. And when it comes to other cats—he’s all about making friends!Burr is known to be a little dramatic if you try to leave the room without giving him the love and attention he feels he deserves. If he’s talking to you, he expects to be acknowledged—he knows his worth!Like all of us, he’s had a few struggles. He has had some bowel issues in the past, though his new medicine has made a world of difference. He’s also FIV positive, which sounds scary but really just means he needs a loving, low-stress home and good care (and he has lots of years of love to give!). He’s not the biggest fan of dogs, though with time and patience he can adjust—but with cats, he’s all in!At the end of the day, this boy is pure sweetness wrapped up in a furry little package. He just needs the right home to see past “the ugly” and embrace all the good and love he has to give. We believe Burr to be around 2 years old, and currently weighs around 10 lbs (but still needs to put on a few more pounds). You may apply to adopt Burr at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Burr is vaccinated, FELV tested negative, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
In Greek mythology, Athena is a goddess known for her intelligence and strength. I'm not saying reincarnation is real, but this Athena is giving the same energy. She is 3 years old, was abandoned but did not let that stop her. Her strength pushed her through as she found a home to take her in. She is very loving, loves back massages, pets, and chatting. Athena is a very talkative kitty! She tolerates male cats as long as they let her boss them around (there's that goddess energy again). Does not get along well with other female cats, dogs unknown. Silky fur and litter box trained. The clipped ear is a sign of her strength and persistence. If you are interested in Athena, please apply at pawpatroldayton.com. Athena comes up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Pigeon may be tiny, but he is full of personality. This 11 week old baby has big round eyes that stare directly into your soul… usually with an adorable, slightly confused expression. He is very playful, super food motivated and has the cutest little meow that she uses to remind you she’s starving (even when he just ate). Once he warms up, Pigeon happily accepts pets with soft purrs. Pigeon has been great with a gentle 9-year-old and a teenager in his foster home, and he gets along well with other cats. He also uses his litter box perfectly, he is a gold-star student! Like all kittens, he has his quirks as he can get a bit possessive over wet food (all drama, no bite!), and he is not usually a fan of being held for long. Because Pigeon is still a bit timid, he would probably do best in a home without very young children. If you’re looking for a playful, wide-eyed, silly little kitten who will make you laugh daily and melt your heart hourly, Pigeon is ready to flutter his way into your home. He is neutered, chipped, tested, and vaccinated. Apply to adopt Pigeon at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt . His adoption fee is $75 All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Lyra, is the loving mama to our solar system kitties, though she's just a kitten herself at only a year old! Lyra seems to have spent a lot of time as an outdoor cat and has top notch hunter skills. However, now Lyra is ready to settle down from the exciting life of the outdoors and adventures in motherhood to a new, calm, loving home. Lyra loves pets and attention, but isn’t quite a lap cat yet. Lyra has been a wonderful mother to her own kittens as well as her six year old human foster sibling. She has been patient and loving with all. Lyra has responded well in all situations with her foster family and has been loving learning to be on a harness for outside adventures. She still loves the sun and outside from her glory days, but Lyra has also shown so much growth in her in home skills. She is litter trained as well. Lyra will go home spayed and up to date on vaccines. You can apply to adopt Lyra at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Lyra's adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
