Story
Incredibly sweet and friendly kitten. She does well meeting new people and enjoys being able to play, snuggle, socialize, and explore. She gets excited when you return home and comes running over to say hello. She’s a wonderful kitten and if I was able to keep her, I would love to.

Story
I was asked to temporarily care for Tiny and find her a loving forever home. Her previous home with a child and 2 other cats caused stress for her resulting in hair loss and behavioral issues. Tiny is not spayed, but I am attempting to resolve that while she is under my care. I am only able to foster her until July 31st when I will be moving and unable to take her with me. Please help me find Tiny a home! About Tiny: Tiny is a 4 year old short hair calico cat. She has been indoor only her whole life. She is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is well behaved and litter trained. It is unclear if she would do well with other cats based on her history, but it’s possible after she is spayed she may do fine with proper introduction. Tiny would be happy in a quiet home where she can thrive with love and attention. If you want a beautiful cuddle bug in your home, Tiny is your girl!

Story
My daughter brought home a family of cats. Minerva is the last remaining cat because my daughter wanted to keep her. As always, life got in the way and we can’t keep her. Someone in the house is highly allergic and Minerva likes to be in your face and getting loves. She is a great cat and she loves hanging out with you.

Story
DISCLAIMER: Before you read all of this, Igor does need a special diet and may have FIV I got Igor three months ago from a friend of a friend. The person I got him from had found Igor on the street. Igor immediately adjusted to living indoors, but the previous owner had a dog that Igor did not get along with. He did not state whether Igor or the dog were the issue, just that they didn’t get along. I quickly found out that Igor needs a prescription diet (he is currently eating Hill’s hydrolyzed food) that runs about $80 per bag. He also tested positive for FIV, but does not have any symptoms. He was not retested because I cannot afford the price of the PCR test to confirm if he really does have FIV or not. He may get along with other cats, it has been hard to tell because my other cat will not even give Igor a chance. Igor is super sweet, outgoing, vocal, dramatic, and definitely an extrovert. He really is the best cat ever, he just needs a home where someone can afford his needs.

Story
Meet sweet ASTORIA, a long-haired solid black cat with a bit of a wonky right eye that makes it look like she’s squinting at you.  It just makes her stand out in her uniqueness.  Astoria is the perfect cat for someone looking for an easy-going companion, in a quiet home.  She hit a bit of a rough patch, and was surrendered to the rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and is need of a calm, loving home to call her own again.  She is independent and low maintenance.  She likes looking out the window and perching someplace high for a nap.  She also enjoys bumping up against people’s legs to get cuddles and pets.  She starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly.  She has a special eye that does get crusty occasionally and will need to be wiped, but she doesn’t let that slow her down.  Astoria is an exceptionally rewarding cat to get to know and love, and would be a wonderful addition to the right home! Astoria has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Astoria in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
