NUGGET is a brown tabby young adult kitty with dramatic stripes on his legs and tail. He is a charming, smart and energetic boy who likes to be at the center of attention. JOHNNY and JACKIE are an adorable bonded pair of teenager siblings who are both short haired brown tabbies. They look like twins, and make such a handsome pair. Johnny, the male, is the more dominant cat, and Jackie, the female, is a bit more hesitant, but both are well socialized and playful. Their pregnant mama was rescued from the post office in Cottage Grove and gave birth soon after. Johnny and Jackie have been fostered since birth and have been fortunate to have loving humans care for them. Johnny and Jackie share a special relationship, and should remain together. They may take some time to warm up, but will blossom in the right home with patience and consistency. Johnny and Jackie both love shoelaces (with a human at the other end) and all kinds of toys. They also love climbing up their cat trees to observe the world. Computer savvy, they are adept at following the cursor around the screen and may enjoy a laser toy or relax in front of some cat videos on You Tube. CHICO and LIFF are an especially adorable pair of bonded kittens who will be a wonderful addition to the right home Chico is a short-haired black and white boy and Liff is a gorgeous calico girl. Of the two, Liff was rescued later and has had less time and experience with human contact. Although she will initially need some space and time to gain confidence, she has blossomed in her foster home. Her brother Chico is the extrovert of the two, immediately asking for attention (and treats) and enjoying affection. Confident and outgoing, Chico warms up quickly to new situations. Neither is quite comfortable yet being picked up or spending time on laps, but that time will come. Together, they love to play -- with each other and with all kinds of cat toys. Liff is adventurous and loves to climb. Both are curious kitties, but not door dashers – it is always wise to exercise caution around open doors and windows. Chico and Liff were rescued with their four siblings by a kind Oregon Park Ranger near Jasper Bridge. This bonded pair must be adopted together. Their brother, Fabian, is also available and the three get along well, with very complimentary personalities. Handsome KODIAK is a young, short-haired black and white boy with some unusual markings on his back and face. Kodiak has blossomed in a loving foster home and has discovered that he likes pets, toys, treats, and the company of other pets, including both cats and dogs. He has also grown more confident around humans, which in his current foster home include elementary aged children. He’s still a little timid -- sudden movements and loud noise can send him scurrying to a safe hiding place -- but he loves to wrestle “down and dirty” with the small terrier mix dog in the home. He likes attention, but is not a snuggle bug at this point, preferring to maintain some dignity – but this could change! Kodiak will require some patience and kindness as he adapts to a new situation, but has already demonstrated that he is adaptable and courageous. **SPECIAL NEEDS** Say hello to FUZZ BALL! Fuzz Ball is a short haired and fluffy, black adult male who has a small white spot on his chest and belly. Mellow Fuzz Ball loves having cat companions and is an amazing big brother to all the foster kittens he’s encountered! He is a shy cat who needs some time to warm up to a new environment and surroundings. He is spooked by noises and fast movements, but sitting by him and letting him come to you for treats helps him feel comfortable. Fuzz Ball came from a colony of 120+ cats in Lane County. He’s a very sweet boy who stays out of trouble and just loves looking out the window and snacking on Churus. Fuzz Ball is an FIP survivor! He is cured and all he requires is yearly bloodwork to make sure he’s healthy. Because of the FIP, he has some neurological issues and is a little wobbly and falls over, but he is able to get himself back up. He has adapted to his physical abilities and is able to use steps and chairs to access the view outside. When you earn his trust, it is the best ever feeling!
