[PLEASE NOTE Cats in these pictures, may or may not be available for adoptions] Cat Rescue & Adoption Network foster families give their kitties lots of TLC and attention. Because of that, we have very well socialized cats that are readily adopted. We always need more fosters to help fulfill our mission of helping rescue special needs animals. Fosters are provided with all the food, bedding and litter the cat needs. We also pay all their medical expenses. Your part is to give them love and attention and how hard can that be? This is the perfect opportunity to have a pet without a life time commitment. Fostering lasts anywhere from one week to several months and YOU get to choose whether you foster bottle babies, kittens or adult cats AND how many. If you live in the Eugene/Springfield, Oregon area and have love to spare for these kitties, please call 541-225-4955 Option 4, or fill out a foster application at: www.CatRescues.org/forms/cat-foster-applicationApril 30, 2024, 4:47 pm

Feral working cats available! Eco-friendly, 100% natural, organic, non-toxic pest control solution for your rodent problems. Do you have a property that needs their talons and talents? Our healthy, neutered, vaccinated, feral working cats are eager to stalk prey for you. They are not socialized to people and won't usually make friends with you or even let you touch them; they just want to do their jobs and be cats. Delivery, coaching and equipment can be provided but you will be responsible for the cats' daily care. Adoption fee is a suggested donation of $45 per cat. If you can provide safe shelter away from dangerous roads; daily food and clean water; and the month required to care for them in confinement to acclimate them to their new home please visit our website to apply. Story
Beautiful PHINEAS and FERB are a wonderful pair of young brothers. Fashionable FERB is a black and white tuxedo with an adorable face. He's a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he will roll over for belly rubs and he'll push his sweet face into your hands for head rubs. PHINEAS is a stunning, sleek black panther who will quickly let you know what a party boy he really is! He loves to follow his foster mom around the house, squeaking for attention and treats!  These boys love to catch stringy toys, climb on the cat tree, and romp around the house with each other—then when they’re worn out, they cuddle up together at nap time.  They have been living in a loving foster home with other cats and friendly dogs.  These sweet boys have fun personalities, and would prefer a calm home where they can relax and enjoy their forever people. PHINEAS and FERB have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Phineas and Ferb in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $260 adoption fee for the pair allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Story
* SPECIAL NEEDS CAT - ADOPTION OR LONG-TERM FOSTER * To say that gorgeous Eloise is a stunner would be an understatement. This young adult cat is as sweet as she is beautiful. However, she can be placed only in a very quiet home, no children, with one or two owners. Eloise was an abandoned kitten, and she is still very shy and a bit fearful. But she really wants to be around her person, as she would follow her foster mom from room to room. She will playfully bat at your leg at dinner time, and she loves to drink dripping water from a faucet and will follow you into the bathroom for this! (A kitty water fountain would be ideal for this sweetheart.) She will let her foster mom pet her, but she is still too skittish to be held for very long. Given how far she’s already come, that likely will improve with time. She will snuggle in your bed with you at night. She loves to play, (especially with her fishing pole with a tail, which will be included in her adoption), and her funny and silly antics will keep you laughing and bring much joy into your life!  Sweet Eloise has congenital kidney failure, and her new owner will have to administer to her sub-q fluids for the rest of her life. She currently only requires fluids 3X a week. She is very easy to give fluids to. While she will not let you hold her on your lap for this process, a small wire cage will come with her. Just run the cord/needle to her in the cage, close the cage door, and start the fluid drip. As long as you are standing or sitting close by the cage, she will sit quietly during the procedure, which only takes 5-7 minutes. Eloise also needs to stay on prescription kidney diet, both canned and kibble. Eloise's foster mom is willing to babysit her and give her fluids if her new person/people go on vacation on occasion.    Eloise has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Eloise in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $70 adoption fee helps us to find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
