Story
Meet Sasha SASHA is a fluffy, solid black female adult kitty with eyes that are sometimes golden or sometimes green, depending upon her mood. She is a special girl, very enchanting with a personality that is made up of both sugar and spice. She is known for both her independence and her charm. She will demand your attention, but you must know that she would be best suited in a home as an only cat, no small children, and with someone who is very familiar with cats and who knows how to read their behaviors. The Sugar/Charming Sasha: She can be a VERY affectionate cat that loves to lay in your lap while being petted. She will follow you around while rubbing against your legs asking you to pet her. She loves to climb up to higher spaces while watching you. Once you have earned her trust, she will give you head bumps and rubs as well as purring. She loves to play and chase toys that you toss to her. The Spicy/Sassy Sasha: During her adaptation to new places and people, she can display body language and behaviors that warrant allowing this girl her own space. Slow deliberate movements so that you don't startle her, are very helpful. If you are well-versed in cat language you will realize this and allow her the space she needs. It will take a while (probably a couple of months) for her to come out of her shell on her own terms. Sasha was a bottle baby who was about 3 months old when first adopted. She was returned after five years-we think that she did not like having small children around, nor did she like the other cat in the house. [When she was a kitten, she had no other cats to show her the ropes.] Sasha is a very special cat who will reward a patient adopter with incredible love and affection, once she has acclimated and bonded to her new human. SASHA has been spayed, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID # 1609-C0501R NOTE: CRAN WILL SPONSOR TWO FREE GROOMING APPTS DURING THE FIRST YEAR AFTER SASHA IS ADOPTED. DOB 9/1/2016 MUST BE AN ONLY CAT UNKNOWN WITH DOGS OLDER, VERY CAT-SAVVY CHILDREN OR ADULTS

Story
Meet Bubbles BUBBLES is a black and white "cow" female teenager. SQUIRT is an elegant black panther female teenager, with a small white tuft on her chest. Together, they make an adorable pair. They are seeking a loving forever home, together. Could that home be yours? Both are affectionate, warm, and loving. Squirt is petite in size but makes up for it with her big personality and attention seeking behaviors. Bubbles is loving and sweet, with a communicative little face and an interesting "voice". Both kitties will be a bit skittish initially, but they will gain confidence as they acclimate to a new home. Bubbles and Squirt will appreciate a safe hiding space from which they will emerge to seek out affection and love when the time is right. They both love to play, both with each other and with small toys. Bubbles and Squirt were surrendered to CRAN because of an accidental litter. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Bubbles and Squirt have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV. Their adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $280 adoption fee (for both) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Elegant, cuddly, sweet gentleman kitty SYLVESTER is all you need in a lap cat. He loves to play with his catnip stuffie and bat his rolly-ball around, but his most favorite thing is to snuggle up with his favorite person and sleep on their hip or belly each night. This gorgeous, fluffy, black-and-white stunner is a gentle, quiet soul who prefers a peaceful home and a set routine where he can relax and mellow out with his human friends. Sylvester came into our rescue when the last member of his original adopting family died; he had lived with them more than 11 years. He prefers to be an only cat, but can be okay with other cats who will let him be the boss. He does not like dogs, and has not been around young children. SYLVESTER has some medical struggles which will require prescription food, daily medication (which he takes easily), on-going monitoring, and follow-up veterinary care. Our veterinary team has determined that he has a mild heart murmur and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) which will need on-going management. With proper diet, attention and medication, this lovely special-needs kitty will return your care and devotion many times over. SYLVESTER has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $70 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Story
Meet Justice JUSTICE and FREEDOM are a bonded pair of young adult brothers looking for a loving forever home. This intelligent and energetic pair were rescued on the 4th of July, and named accordingly! FREEDOM is a distinctive black and white tuxedo, and JUSTICE is a very large and handsome black panther! Freedom is becoming friendlier and more outgoing with each passing day, especially under the influence of his sociable brother Justice who has taught him how wonderful it is to receive pets and loves. They will snuggle with their foster mom, and enjoy sitting on her lap for pets during TV time, or cuddling in bed. These boys enjoy bird watching in sunny windows, climbing the cat tower, cat caves, and play-wrestling with each other. They are still a bit scared of loud noises and can be shy with new people until acclimated. Freedom and Justice will thrive in a calm, quiet environment, and will make wonderful and entertaining companions. They have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV and FIV, and include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. Story
NUGGET is a brown tabby young adult kitty with dramatic stripes on his legs and tail. He is a charming, smart and energetic boy who likes to be at the center of attention. Nugget enjoys morning cuddles in bed, lap time in the evenings and warming feet overnight. He loves to chase any wand toy offered, and he will play with a wide variety of toys on his own. Nugget is highly intelligent and will work for interactive play. He quickly learned to "boop" a finger with his nose and give high fives. Nugget likes to follow people around and can get underfoot at times. He will likely take some time to warm up in a new home, but is easily brought out of his shell with playtime and treats. Nugget is on a special prescription diet, which he must stay on for life. Once he gets comfortable, you will be rewarded with a sweet boy who will become your devoted companion for life! Nugget is looking for a home with a quieter family who can engage his curious and smart nature Nugget has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.
