Rylo was a rescue that was adopted from Guilford County Animal Shelter. He was very timid at first. Now he is lovable and full of energy once he gets comfortable. If you are a work from home fur mom or dad he loves to clock in with you and nap under the deck to keep you company!

Meet Tabitha! (And check out daily pics and videos on our Facebook page too!) Tabitha stole my heart the minute I met her at the shelter where she was left in the after hours dropbox at 3 weeks old. She had to be bottle fed and became even more loving and adoring of us humans. Tabitha is everything we love about kittens: adorable, playful, curious, affectionate, and completely convinced that your lap belongs to her! But she’s happy to share with another kitty friend and even dogs she loves in her foster home. Tabitha loves playing with toys and will race around with her BFF Serena seeing who can carry them in their mouth the longest. Then she will come back and climb right up in your lap for some quality snuggle time. As a bottle baby when she first joined us, she sees humans as her people, and being close to us is one of her favorite things. If you’re looking for a little shadow, Tabitha would love to apply for the job! Serena and Tabitha are 8 weeks old (approx DOB 9/1/26) and have been having an absolute blast with their new tunnel and Halloween toys! Between chasing each other, diving in and out of the new tunnel, and climbing on their towers, these two girls have been nonstop entertainment! And since they are still itty bitty (about 2 pounds), it’s the cutest thing you have ever seen. Of course, all that playing is exhausting, so there are plenty of kitten naps in between. In my lap is their preference of course. But once those little batteries recharge, they’re right back at it! Tabitha is a happy, healthy and very spoiled kitten! She can be adopted individually or for twice as much fun, she and Serena can go home together. A couple of weeks ago at 6 weeks old they charmed everyone at their vet appointment at our newest vet partner, Southern Animal Hospital, in Mebane. They had their first complete wellness exams, first kitten vaccine, parasite screening, and FIV/FeLV testing (negative) and also got their microchips. The girls are also current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. (Nexguard Combo). OUR ADOPTION INFORMATION Our $100 adoption fee per kitten includes: • Wellness exams • Spay or neuter • FVRCP kitten vaccine series through 16 weeks • Rabies vaccine • Parasite screenings and dewormings • FIV/FeLV testing • Microchip • Current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention When kittens go home before their vetting is complete, we continue paying for the included care through one of our veterinary partners. You choose the partner clinic that works best for you, and we pay the clinic directly! Our vet partners are located in: Durham Hillsborough Roxboro Mebane (2 locations) Greensboro Winston-Salem Raleigh Charlotte Danville, VA (3 locations) Apply to become an approved adopter by completing our nonbinding adoption application at VintageRacersForRescues.com. Once approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet (and adoption if you fall in love) at our foster home in Blanch, NC, near Yanceyville. We are an easy drive of about an hour from Durham or Greensboro. Our adopters tell us these little loves are worth the drive!
