Story

Smokey is a 9-month-old rescue that our family adores! He loves to run, climb, explore, and then curl up on the couch when he’s tired himself out. He definitely likes to be the prince of the house and enjoys having plenty of space to play and be himself. He can be independent, but he’s also affectionate when he’s comfortable. We’ve had Smokey for 7 months, and as he’s grown, we’ve realized he would likely be happiest in a home with older children (8+) or adults who can appreciate his playful, energetic personality. Smokey is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption records, microchip information, and veterinary paperwork will be provided to his new family. We love him very much and want to find the right home where he can thrive! He will also come with his carrier and favorite toys, as well as his bed (although he will prefer your bed haha).

But do not worry, she is playful too, At only one to two years old, she is still engaging her inner kitten when there are fun toys or games. We love watching her play with her kittens. Beautiful, affectionate, petite (7 lbs.), social and VERY sweet 18 month old adoptable Mama Poppy is ready for her happily ever after. Poppy has her FVRCP vaccine and booster, rabies vaccine, tested negative for FIV, feline leukemia and heartworm disease, was screened for parasites and dewormed multiple times and is microchipped too. And she was spayed on June 23rd. Poppy was living as a stray when a kind woman gained her trust and was able to get her and her 6 Popsicle Kittens to safety inside her home until rescue could be found. They joined us on 4/17 when the kittens were one week old. She took amazing care of her babies and now its her turn to be babied and cared for furever. Mama Poppy had been living as a stray, and thankfully a kind woman patiently gained her trust so she could bring Mama and her babies (who were born out in the woods on April 10th) safely inside until rescue could be found. Since joining our rescue when the babies were one week old, Mama Poppy has been incredibly sweet, affectionate, and clearly so grateful to finally feel safe and not have to worry about food or staying warm. And her six little ones are just like her. The kittens are affectionate, playful, hilarious, adorable, curious, social, healthy and definitely getting very spoiled in foster care. They all got perfect scores at their vet visit where they had wellness exams, vaccines, parasite screening, FIV FeLV testing and received their microchips. The remainder of their first year kitten vaccines, rabies vaccine and their spay/neuter are included in our $100 adoption fee. Bomb Pops coloring and markings are gorgeous. The lines by her eyes are beautiful and as she grows they look like Cleopatra eyeliner perfection. And her six little ones are just like her. What makes Otter Pop instantly recognizable is the perfect little straight line of black across her forehead that looks exactly like bangs. It always makes me smile. When not snuggling up against me, Otter is usually climbing on a cat tree or scratcher toy, exploring and playing with new toys, running around with her siblings or of course taking those all important naps! Otter Pop currently weighs 2.2 lbs (as of 6-15-16) and keeps us constantly reaching for the camera because she is always striking the cutest poses. Shes playful, curious, silly, affectionate, full of personality, and most importantly healthy,just like the rest of Mama Poppys adorable little Popsicles. All the kitties are eating kibble and canned food and using the litter box too.
