Meet Lovely Maggie – The Stunning Blue Leopard Catahoula Mix! Maggie is a sweetheart couch potato, bed hopper, breathtaking 4-year-old blue leopard Catahoula mix with one solid blue eye and a striking blue chip in the other. This smart, affectionate, and loyal girl is the perfect companion for someone who loves the unique personality of the Catahoula breed.  Maggie’s Journey Maggie’s history is mostly unknown. She was rescued from animal control in North Georgia and given a second chance at life. Why You’ll Love Maggie Loyal & Affectionate: Maggie thrives on being close to her human. She loves snuggling, lounging on the couch, or napping nearby, making her the perfect cuddle buddy. Low-Key Couch Potato with a Fun Side: While Maggie is mostly laid-back, she also enjoys walks, hikes, and car rides—anything that allows her to spend quality time with her person. Meal Time Enthusiast: Maggie’s favorite part of the day is mealtime! Her excitement is unmatched, and she’ll eagerly await her food with adorable enthusiasm. Crate-Trained & Well-Behaved: Maggie is perfectly crate-trained and will happily run into her crate for a treat. Maggie’s Ideal Home Dog Dynamics: Maggie gets along wonderfully with male dogs but has had conflicts with dominant females. She might do well with a submissive female, but she would thrive as the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the love and attention. No Cats: Due to her high prey drive, a cat-free home is essential. A Loving Human: Maggie craves attention and affection, making her ideal for someone who enjoys having a constant, loving companion. Health & Quick Facts Age: 4 years old Weight: 55 pounds (a perfect medium size) Health: Spayed Microchipped Heartworm-negative Up-to-date on all vaccinations Temperament: Sweet, affectionate, and eager to please How to Adopt Maggie If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and loving companion, Maggie is the dog for you! Story
&#226&#128&#139 Affectionate. Snuggly. Loyal. Friendly. Handsome. The list of Hudson’s amazing qualities could go on forever — but lately, one trait has really stood out: this boy is exceptionally intelligent. Hudson isn’t just a pretty face — he’s what we like to call doggie Ivy League material. At just 3 years old and 62 pounds, he’s a quick learner who thrives on mental stimulation and truly loves training. New tricks and agility games? Bring it on. Hudson lights up when his brain is engaged, and he’s happiest when he has a purpose. We believe there’s some working breed in his genes, and it shows in his focus, drive, and desire to bond deeply with his people. He’s eager to please and would thrive in a home that understands the needs of smart, active dogs and can keep him challenged with ongoing learning and enrichment. Hudson’s dream home? A family who values his intelligence as much as his cuddles. Someone who’s excited to teach him new tricks and skills. A best friend who appreciates both his active side and his heart of gold. Check out his reel: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1017875406805291     Age: 3 years    Weight: 62 lbs    Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative and on prevention    Temperament: Good with other dogs, and older, respectful kids.      Training, House trained, crate trained, knows several commands    Email for questions: sonali@doggieharmony.org    To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. June 25, 2025, 9:04 am

Story
Scooby is a 75lb Catahoula mix that is about 2 years old. I adopted him through lifeline after he was found tied to a fence post at only 4 months old at a baseball park. He didnt spend a night in the shelter, as soon as I saw his post I swooped him up to foster him. Scooby is medium-energied and full of life and personality. He is the perfect mix of outdoor adventurer and couch cuddle bug. He is loyal, playful, vocal, and a huge goofball. He has been professionally trained at ADZK9s and is highly intelligent, eager to please, and a quick learner. He loves to be around his person, whether thats sitting at your feet while you work or cuddled up with you in bed. He thrives on activity and engagement and is insanely loyal. Scooby has been an amazing companion for the past year that I have had him and he has filled my life with so much joy. However, he does not get along well with my parents small dogs and I am in no circumstances to move out and take care of him on my own.

Story
Hey there, friend! I’m Spice, and let me tell you—I’ve got just the right mix of sweet and sass to brighten up your life! I’m a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Terrier mix, weighing in at a solid 80 pounds of pure love and loyalty. And my coat? It’s a stunning chocolate merle, full of swirls and spots that make me look like I was painted by an artist. Seriously, I turn heads everywhere I go! I landed at the shelter on 06/10/2025, and while I’m making the best of it, I know my real adventure begins when I find my forever home. I’m super sweet, playful, and (humble brag) pretty obedient too. I already know sit, stay, shake, and down—just imagine what else I could learn with someone like you by my side! I’ve been tested negative for heartworms, I’m up to date on all my shots, and I’ll be neutered before I head home with you. Come meet me in cage 59—my ID is 10767. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and strikingly handsome companion, I’ve got the personality and the coat to match. Let’s make life a little spicier—together! 🐾❤️ Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers.
